@biscuitcat I'm 8+1 and my symptoms have almost completely disappeared. My boobs are still a bit tender but not as sore as they were and I hardly feel sick anymore. I've got a scan on Tuesday when I'll be 8+4 so just praying everything will be ok!

I have got the worst heartburn today, just had to get hubby to go and get me rennie!

Bit late to join the group but only just found out! Nearly 6 weeks pregnant with first baby, due 30th August

@ame88 Same! I woke up at 4am with it quite bad, lasted 2 hours. I've never had heartburn before. Had to google if it was possible at this stage as I always thought it was something that happened near the end of pregnancy.

Does anyone else get cold on an evening? I usually run warm all day but after I sit down in the evening I feel like a block of ice. Then go to bed still cold and wake up sweating around 2am!

Welcome @northernsquirrel and congratulations! We are a few days apart. I do tend to feel chilly aim the evenings but I just put it down to being cold outside and laying still. I don’t wake with sweats. I’ve had a day of feeling pretty normal with no nausea just a bit of tiredness. As others have said on this thread, it’s weirdly unnerving when I don’t experience nausea, although I know it’s not pleasant, it at least tells me I’m pregnant.

Congratulations too @Miniheart and thanks for your reply. I'm the same with the nausea, sometimes I don't feel any different and worry that something has happened. I've been lucky really just tired, heartburn and the wierd night sweats!

It’s reassuring to hear you’ve had on / off nausea as well. Hope your symptoms continue to be relatively mild. I’m back to work on Monday and just hope I can manage full time work again without the need for a nap / waves of nausea! Really don’t want to tell work yet so I need symptoms to be mild!

Hi all, just adding myself to the list! First pregnancy for me - completely unplanned, with boyfriend of 5 months - who let me know that this is his worst nightmare and he won’t be sticking around. Stressful few weeks to say the least. Booked a private scan for next week, when I’ll be 10+1 - haven’t really had any bad symptoms so want the reassurance everything is OK 🤞🏼

I was the same I googled 'sicky burps' lol I didn't even know what it was!!

Welcome @appleaddiction and congratulations! Sorry to hear about your boyfriend. Hopefully you have someone else you can share your news with who might be able to offer some more support to you? Good luck with your private scan, let us know how you get on 🙂

I thought the night sweats were just me @northernsquirrel - I didn't even know it was a symptom but I burn up every night and end up in the spare room!

@appleaddiction, sorry to hear about your boyfriend's response to the pregancy. You are not alone and have support here!

I may be bringing up this baby as a single parent too, after finding out my partner has been cheating on me.

He continued sleeping with his previous partner/ other children's mum for our entire relationship, so I was basically an affair without realising it.

He says he loves me and wants to be with me but I obviously no longer trust him. There have been so many lies. I'm dealing with the shock of it all still and not wanting to make decisions in anger.

Keeping faith and trusting that all will work out as it is meant to in the end. Lots of love xxx

I have supportive family & friends. Not a situation I ever imagined being in - but I'm 32 and feel ready for this.

@TwinkleGoat sorry to hear about your situation 😔 It's hard having to deal with relationship stress at the same time as being pregnant- I always thought that when my time came for being pregnant I would be looked after and cared for etc

@appleaddiction I’m in a similar position to you, 36 pregnant with first child to a boyfriend (now ex) of 5 months who told me to get an abortion. I have a very long thread in the “pregnancy choices” forum all about it, minus what’s happened today but just to say you’re not the only one in that boat xxxx hope you are holding up, this has been the most stressful month of my life. I’m 8 +5

What part of the country are you in?

Had a bit of a worrying weekend. Had a little bit of bleeding when I stuck my progesterone pessary in Friday night around midnight. Called 111 who were awesome and had a doc call me back within a few hours to talk it all through. Feeling very impressed that we have that service available here, as I’m Canadian as well and don’t think they have anything there except 911!

Luckily not had anymore bleeding since but felt awful all day Saturday - like extreme nausea and cramping so was terrified. All seems back to normal today so I assume the crap day I had yesterday was due to lack of sleep Friday night!! We have our first scan booked this Tuesday with our IVF clinic so excited and nervous all at once . I’m 7 weeks exactly today, so scan will be at 7+2.

Went for a walk with a friend today and finding it very hard not to tell people yet!! It’s all that occupies my mind atm, so hard to think of other things to talk about. So lame!

Sorry to the ladies with the shitty exes. I was brought up by a single mom and my grandma, and absolutely loved my childhood. I’m super close with my mom xx

Hi guys! So I got a 9week private scan done today & she said I'm in fact 6 weeks gestation. She could see a sac & all, but no embryo just yet. She offered a TV Scan but I wasn't comfortable. I'm a bit skeptical now that I'm 6 weeks according to this private scan. Should I be worried?
