Granted all babies are different but when did you notice your LO slept through the night or just woke for one feed?

5 years and 3 months . When he started school.

TaraRhu · 09/12/2020 21:06

Woke once at 10.30 ish from 5 months and would sleep through until 6ish.

But his sleep got quite disturbed with teething so he woke up a lot in the night between 6 an12 months.

Dreamingofvenice · 09/12/2020 21:06

3 years old and still waiting Shock

jasmin93 · 09/12/2020 21:07

When he did not want boob at night anymore. Around 8 months. But even then kids wake up at night for different reasons.
Cannot find water bottle himself or teddy fell out of bed.

First time at around 4 years old

Goatsdorhone · 09/12/2020 21:09

Baby is 16 weeks old and has been waking only once for a feed during the night for a good few weeks now - she's just done three nights in a row of sleeping 8pm to 5am (and then back to sleep until 8 or even 9!) which I am hoping is going to continue though I'm sure it won't...no doubt the infamous 4 month sleep regression is going to hit us soon! Before then she would wake sometime between 2 and 4am.

Corner13 · 09/12/2020 21:14

9 months. After sleep training

Thatwentbadly · 09/12/2020 21:15

DD1 about 2.5 years. She is 4.5 years and it’s still not guaranteed.
DD2 16 months old and still has at least 2 feeds a night but it’s often more like 5.

It’s biologically normally for your child to need you over night up to 7 years old.

theantsgomarchin · 09/12/2020 21:17

DS slept 7-7:30am with a 10:30pm dream feed from 10 weeks until about 5 months, at which point we dropped the 10:30 feed as he was refusing to take it, and he just slept straight through from 7-7. Still does at 19m. He was breastfed (as everyone says bf babies don't sleep, I beg to differ)

piglet81 · 09/12/2020 21:18

Occasionally from about 4.5. Still only once or twice a week at 5.5.

Attictroll · 09/12/2020 21:18

2.5-3 years roughly

Level75 · 09/12/2020 21:21

6.5 years

Anurulz · 09/12/2020 21:21

15 months and still hopeful that day will come soon.. please

letsmakethetea · 09/12/2020 21:23

8 months, and we started night weaning at 7 months.

PreRaphaeliteMotherhood · 09/12/2020 21:24

DS slept through the night for a few weeks between 11 and 14ish weeks. Then was an absolute horror (up every 45 minutes, regularly woke after 20 minutes, would only feed to sleep...) until we sleep trained at 8 months.

DD only wakes for one feed about 50% of the time and is 5 weeks. Last night she went down at 9, and woke at 2 and 6 for feeds, slept until 8. I’m assuming she’ll also become dreadful at some point, although she is a much less clingy baby, so I live in hope 😂

notdaddycool · 09/12/2020 21:24

The first one slept 5 or 6 hours his first night and the midwife told us to wake him for a feed and slept all night by 6 weeks and the second was 4 months. Both had a couple of regressions later on, but didn't last very long, once they were about 6 months any regressions were met with sleep training which usually only took 2 or 3 nights and we were all better for it.

becca3210 · 09/12/2020 21:24

6 months after gentle sleep training and moving to own room. Now nearly 8 months. Tends to wake once on average for feed.

DelurkingAJ · 09/12/2020 21:27

DS1 nearly 5 when he started school. DS2 was by about 3 and then seemingly forgot how to when he started school...he is currently being bribed with a sticker chart and chocolate because all reasoning had failed. He would arrive about 2am and we’d not wake until he started kicking us in his sleep. Urgh!
