Granted all babies are different but when did you notice your LO slept through the night or just woke for one feed?

DC1 - 2 years
DC2- 3 years
That's sleeping through, which to me is going to bed no fussing after a bedtime story and lights out, and not hearing from them until 7am (with the exception of bad dreams, or toilet trips obviously)

Slept through the night from:
Ds1 - 5yrs (but horrendous night terrors until 6)
Ds2 - 4yrs
DS3 - 18/20months (he's my favourite child so far*)

*joke obvs

Waiting to see what this next one does!

DS started sleeping through or with one feed this week and he’s 6 weeks tomorrow. I am extraordinarily grateful to him!

4.5 years. Started reliably sleeping through during first lockdown. I'm pregnant with my second child now and I pray every day that the universe please, please send me a baby / child who loves to sleep.

Hi, my baby slept through at 3 weeks old, he was on sma formula and waking every 4 hours, the health visitor suggested changing him to the hungry baby formula, couldn’t believe it, he slept from 7pm to 6 am . Never had a broken night after .

Moandy · 10/12/2020 09:23

8 weeks until 1.5 years then things went a bit wrong for a few months!

vinoelle · 10/12/2020 09:27

Mine slept 7-10pm, woken for dream feed, then from 10-8am from 11 weeks

The dream feed is key in my opinion to getting them to sleep.
Only fed once at night from about 3 weeks I think - again I ensured I fed them lots in the afternoon/evening and then dream feed. (Breast fed)

20 months and still waiting ... 😩😩😩

CBhope · 11/12/2020 03:36

Thanks everyone really surprised on how young some do a good sleep so it gives me hope!

@CBhope as above - I’d really recommend a good bed time routine, and wake them for a dream feed so their long stretch is therefore after midnight/ in the small hours

Doesn’t matter if breast or bottle

7/8 weeks, then went massively wrong from 4-18 months then better then all wrong again when we moved to big girl bed. She sleeps all night now (nearly 3) but insists that before 6am is an acceptable wake up time.
