The waiting Game - Labour

Thought it would be fun to start a thread where we can all drive each other crazy analysing every little twinge and pain together 😂 hopefully we can all keep each other company whilst we wait for the show to go on the road! I'm 38 weeks plus and very Impatinetly awaiting little ones arrival in the hopes of escaping an induction. Heres to hoping it all kicks off for us!

@Whatinthename20 I'm sure that's fine, I think they just say don't have sex after your waters have gone due to risk of infection.

@Stargazer87 waters went at 1 am on the 20th while I was asleep, and baby arrived at 11.56 pm on the 20th! Was very slow for the first 18 hours or so and then went from 3 cm to 10 cm in about 1.5 hours which was a bit too intense!

@RestorationInsanity That does sound a little intense! Amazing that your little one is here though! 🥰

How is everyone else feeling? I'm feeling really excited today after spending the last week or so feeling anxious!

@Stargazer87 me! 40+4 and no signs. Wbu? Having another sweep on Thursday. I lost my mucus plug on Saturday though and got my hopes up.

@Whatinthename20 I'm 39 weeks today, got my hopes up when my midwife said that baby was fully engaged at 36 weeks and she could see her coming early! 🤦🏻‍♀️I've had random twinges and pains for weeks now but they never turn into anything...😩

@RestorationInsanity congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby.

I'm 39 weeks and starting to lose it. I wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning for no reason and that is it for the day. Been getting pains on and off for last few days but no distinct pattern. last night the baby spent the night headbutting my cervix and anytime I eat anything I have stomach cramps and have to go to the toilet. Really hoping he arrives soon

@roro87 I'm the same with the early wake-ups, feeling really exhausted now. Sometimes I worry that if I did go into labour I just wouldn't have the energy to get through it....😐
