This has been posted before and I can't take credit for it but you may find the information you need 😊

Ours seem really on the ball with social media, they've also made lots of helpful videos on labour, induction, caesarean, etc.

@Babyhope98 This looks similar to the snuza hero & is currently on offer for £51.99 www.amazon.co.uk/Sense-U-Breathing-Temperature-Rollover-Overheating/dp/B072KSGQVZ/ref=gbps_tit___20670cb9?smid=A21QSORQBDIL1Z&th=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Babyhope98 · 14/11/2020 21:09

I’ve just ordered that thank you! @kkr168 great price with good reviews too 🤩 I hadn’t seen that x

peachypetite · 14/11/2020 22:41

Already had someone message me asking if there are “any signs” - this is going to drive me nuts I think especially if my due date comes and goes!

Dee96 · 14/11/2020 23:17

Thankyou for all the goodlucks! Change of plans the ward is quite so they've asked me to come down now. Just very hecticly put everything in the bags had a quick shower and now on my way. Who knows may have a baby by tomorrow Smile

Snowwhite2020 · 14/11/2020 23:24

@Dee96 so exciting for you! Good luck xx

Dee96 · 14/11/2020 23:45

@Snowwhite2020 thankyou so out of sorts right now since they threw this on me last minute but hoping it means I get things moving quicker!

Pinktruffle · 14/11/2020 23:48

Oh my, that's so exciting! All the best @Dee96, hope to hear some good news from you tomorrow x

Dee96 · 15/11/2020 02:15

So just a quick update came all the way here and the dr couldnt fit the balloon in my cervix apparently I was the first to have that happen to her Hmm they were then going to give me a pessary but I had a sweep and that seemed to off got minor contractions/tightenings rolling so here I am back where I started. They wont let me home so I have to sleep it of and try again tomorrow yaaaay @Pinktruffle thanks hopefully I have something abit more productive to report later x!

excitednerves · 15/11/2020 06:13

Good luck @Dee96!

excitednerves · 15/11/2020 06:15

I forgot to take omeprazole yesterday and have woken up with the worst heartburn ever. Literally feel like I’m on fire!

@peachypetite I’m having this too, and I’m so ready to have this baby out, I WISH there were ‘any signs’

loobeelou · 15/11/2020 07:08

Good luck @Dee96, I hope things progress more quickly today x

Amyyy1 · 15/11/2020 07:23

@Dee96 How exciting, hopefully you'll see your baby today!!!! X

Amyyy1 · 15/11/2020 07:25

I woke up from the worst cramping/sharpness ever in my lower belly to the point where I was struggling to breathe through it and I got so excited it was going to be the start of labour but since then I've had nothing!!!☹️ Must have just been baby adjusting or something

LRHRN · 15/11/2020 07:32

Has anyone had issues with reduced movements?
I've already been to hospital 3 times in the last 2 1/2weeks and as soon as I get hooked up it's like she's on acid, doing somersaults and non stop movements.
I've been awake since 3am and had 3 noticeable movements and she's had hiccups.
I feel like a liar phoning up and I'm sure they will think I'm a crazy mum.
I shouldn't have to nudge her and wiggle her to get her moving but I don't understand why she will be so quite for hours on end maybe 1 kick in 3hrs.
The consultant said a baby will only sleep for 1hr without movement.
I never had this with my other 2 kids but the guidelines were different then you had to feel at least 10movements an hour but now it's any change in movement.
Part of me knows I should ring and be checked but then the other part is telling me they are going to think I'm a time waster 😭

LRHRN · 15/11/2020 07:33

@Dee96 Good Luck ❤️

@Amyyy1 it could be baby moving head down cause this happened to me last week. The worse stabbing pain ever and I was crippled in agony, had a scan the next day and she was almost fully engaged (had been transversefrom 16weeks)

excitednerves · 15/11/2020 07:41

@Amyyy1 same as @LRHRN I had this when baby engaged and now I have pressure/pain in my pelvis - I can definitely tell there’s a head in there - but no sign of labour. Hurry up baby!

@lrhrn it’s always better to call and check if you’re worried. I’ve found that since baby engaged I feel very different, and fewer movements but once I’m on the CTG machine it’s totally fine. X

LRHRN · 15/11/2020 08:03

Yeah I'm the same @excitednerves but feel I'm having to prod and wiggle my bump to get her moving when she's normally non stop.
They wanted to induce me last time I went in but I said no as I didn't want to be stuck in hospital for days.
I'll keep monitoring for a few hours and see what happens later x

Dee96 · 15/11/2020 08:21

Thankyou all just had the pessary inserted hopefully things should get a move on soon. Also excuse the typos I'm running of an hours sleep

peachypetite · 15/11/2020 08:29

@Dee96 try and get some sleep! @excitednerves glad it’s not just me I was a bit Hmm and haven’t replied. As if you’d have a baby and not tell people it had arrived ffs.

Snowwhite2020 · 15/11/2020 09:26

@Dee96 what a shame you’ve been up all night. Hope you get some sleep and that the pessary gets things going today! So exciting for you! Xx

Snowwhite2020 · 15/11/2020 09:26

@peachypetite lol yeah @texters I am getting a sudden influx too...

Kj1010 · 15/11/2020 09:55

@LRHRN I havent been in for reduced movements at all thankfully but what I can say is since the start of feeling movements they have been constant at all like he moves in morning to mid morning for hour or so then it goes quiet for ages and he moves once I've ate like around 6/7 and I do know he does move when I'm asleep which does not wake me I dont go in because that's how it has been always but he even moves when I'm at appointments they say he moving I dont feel it dont know if its coz he he is high extended breech or what but what I will say if you have any concerns at all go in and dont worry if they seem peed or anything you do what's best for you and that baby xx

kkr168 · 15/11/2020 10:17

@peachypetite I've been getting the texts too, doesn't particularly bother me, maybe because I've done the same to pregnant friends/family.

@LRHRN I'm similar to @Kj1010 in that he seems to move at certain times, mainly around meal times, if he didn't move then I would worry. Some babies are lazier then others, my 1st baby pretty much never moved, if he did I never felt it, so if it's not normal for your baby best to get checked over.
