Yes its whether the head can engage though as my cervix was blocked by a fibroid @ChampooPapi so will still have to wait and see! But still good news (I think - the planner in me likes a time and date!!).
Ahhh thats exciting still, not long till you are using it!

AlviesMam · 03/11/2020 15:12

I’m 1-2cm dialated she could feel baby’s head 🙈

Let's hope she's here by end of week! Xx

Whiffle77 · 03/11/2020 15:55

Woohooo @AlviesMam thats progress!! 🎉🤞

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/11/2020 15:58

@ChampooPapi ahh thanks for that. I am really looking forward to putting those little things on her.

And tomorrow is your big day!!!! I can't believe it. Feels like it was yesterday when you said you were having twins... but probable feels like an eternity for you 😊
Best of luck tomorrow. Hope all goes well and cannot wait for a little update 💕💕

@AlviesMam yayyy on some progress! I am sure she will be here soon :)

@Whiffle77 and yay for progress on your front too!! Head down is definitely a good sign from what i hear 😇

So many babies to come 💫🌈

BS9790 · 03/11/2020 17:21

Lots of exciting news to catch up on here, I've been rubbish at logging on. We got home around 2am Monday morning from hospital, Still feeling really unwell and some of my stitches have come open so I'm very sore. Not sure what I can do to aid the healing process, gonna give it another day or 2 and then perhaps go to triage to get them rechecked over.
Isaac had his 5 day check today and weighs the exact same as his birth weight so really pleased with that considering what else we've been dealing with!

@ChampooPapi eee how exciting for you!

@AlviesMam.. Not long for you now x

Hope everyone is doing OK x

Chickoletta · 03/11/2020 17:59

So many exciting updates here! Looking forward to some birth announcements very soon.

The midwife rang me this morning as I left a message yesterday to sign myself up. Told her about the CBDigi 1-2 issue and she has arranged an early dating scan for me on 18th Nov, which is more than I was expecting. Pleased about that but she did seem more concerned than I would have liked.

She also told me to ring the GP and ask about a blood test, which I did, and she said that she was not concerned and these things can be very inaccurate.

I feel like I’m being well looked after but it’s going to be a long couple of weeks. They’re all saying that no bleeding and no pain are good signs but I didn’t have either last time.

I am feeling sicker than I have been today and am still seeing incessantly so hopefully those are signs that hormones are doing their thing. I so wish that I’d never bought the bloody digital tests.

Hopefulmummie · 03/11/2020 18:33

Hi everyone.
Congratulations on BFP

I had an ectopic pregnancy back in June at 7 weeks which was devastating. Me and my partner have been TTC again since late August and have had 2 BFN since.

My AF due tomorrow but I've felt strange all week and been having sharp cramps for few days which have been different to period cramps. Decided to do a test today and got a BFP :)
I obviously don't want to get excited cause of what happened last time. I am going to do a self referral tomorrow as I know they scan you from 6 weeks if you have a previous ectopic pregnancy.
Fingers crossed everything goes ok

Leok83 · 03/11/2020 18:38

Wow I haven't managed to catch up for a couple of days and I've missed lots!!

@scrumdiddly123 fantastic news on your baby girl💕!! And so lovely for your daughter to get a new little sister to even it out!!

@AlviesMam happy belated due date! Hopefully the curry worked for you😄

@ChampooPapi sooo exciting this is your last night before meeting the twins!! The very best of luck tomorrow, I hope it all goes smoothly! Will be thinking of you!xx

I'm a bit late to the bump update party but think I'm starting to pop so here's mine😊
Scanned myself at work again this morning too and caught hiccups on video..so cute. Pity I can't seem to upload the video here!

Leok83 · 03/11/2020 19:33

@Chickoletta that's great you got an early dating scan organised. Try not to worry about the test. It's worth maybe just going to GP and getting the HCG checked if you are worried as it might put your mind at ease. But if you are feeling sick there's obviously enough HCG there to cause that!

@Hopefulmummie welcome and congratulations! Sorry about your ectopic recently and hopefully all will be good with this bean at your scan. I know it's so hard to relax and not worry after a loss. xx

Leok83 · 03/11/2020 19:35

@Whiffle77 I missed your news too! That's great the head is down and 🤞the fibroid doesn't get in the way and you don't need a section!

ChampooPapi · 04/11/2020 06:01

Thank you to everyone for all your support over the past year, I'll get to meet my babies today and I can honesty say that I am going to be able to do that with a lot less anxiety and peace in my heart because of the support of this thread and everyone on it. I am so grateful for the lifeline this thread has been at so many times, and the conception ones before of course, a huge thank you @Annny27 for leading and supporting us there too💜

@BecsterG you welcomed me originally and have lead us beyond your own rainbow 💜

All the best to everyone over the coming weeks 🌈

scrumdiddly123 · 04/11/2020 06:30

@ChampooPapi the best of luck to you today, will be thinking of you and those beautiful babies! Can’t wait to hear that they have arrived safely xxx

MilsCookie · 04/11/2020 06:38

@ChampooPapi I'm struggling to sleep and all I keep thinking is "Champoo is having her twins today!!" You will be in my thoughts all day and I hope everything goes super smoothly for you. You've been a support to every single one of us on here this last year and we're all so happy that your rainbows are finally about to be born. Can't wait to see an update from you but of course there's no rush. Just enjoy the newborn glory!!! Sending you lots of luck and positivity this morning - you got this!!! 💪🏼🌈🌈👶🏻👶🏻💛💛 xxx

FireflyGirl · 04/11/2020 06:42

Good luck for today, @ChampooPapi.

Can't wait to see photos of your gorgeous babies!

Fingers crossed for you, as well, @AlviesMam. Long walks, pineapple and sex are in order - not all at the same time, though Wink

@Whiffle77 glad baby is head down - gives you options at least.

Welcome and congratulations @Hopefulmummie.

Fingers crossed for your scan @Chickoletta. Just try and enjoy your pregnancy in the meantime.

@Leok83 that's so cute! Must be hard to resist scanning constantly!

@SunnySideUp2020 whether and how long they wear newborn depends on the baby - it's supposed to be up to 9lb, but DD is nearly out of it at 7.5lb and 12 days because she's just so long! They definitely get more wear out of 0-3. Just take it easy with the cleaning - I did similar, and ended up on monitoring due to cramps and what I'm now sure was a pulled muscle in the top of my bump.

@Ejb86 that sounds a very sensible decision, given everything that's going on. I'm glad your boss is being supportive. Enjoy your time to get ready, but bear in mind the further on you get the harder bending and lifting will get.

Well done to Isaac, @BS9790. Maintaining his birth weight is amazing! You're obviously both working really hard!

@MilsCookie I can't believe you're 31 weeks already! Your girls are doing so well! The antibiotics seem to be helping with the UTI, thanks- going to toilet is a bit easier than it was before the weekend, thankfully.

DD had her second check up yesterday. They didn't tell me what she lost last week (just that it was less than 5%) but she's put on 1/2lb from her birth weight. They were really pleased. So am I, to be honest. I had such a hard time breastfeeding DS, it's nice to know it's working this time!

AlviesMam · 04/11/2020 07:11

SunnySideUp2020 · 04/11/2020 07:22

TerribleImagination · 04/11/2020 07:48

Sending love today @ChampooPapi ❤️ I’m so excited for you that you get to meet your little rainbows 🌈 I echo what @MilsCookie said too, you’ve been an amazing support to us all, as well as much needed source of humour when we all needed it! You know exactly what to say, whether it be serious or funny and I’m so grateful for all the messages and advice 😍

Enjoy today, soak up those newborn cuddles and we’ll all be here waiting for an update when you’re ready! ❤️

Whiffle77 · 04/11/2020 08:29

Enjoy it all and ofcourse we'll be thinking of you and your csection recovery xxx

TerribleImagination · 04/11/2020 09:09

@ChampooPapi I was just sat working away from my sofa, looked out the window and look what was there! ❤️🌈 I’m gonna say that made an appearance just for you this morning! 🥰

Good luck @ChampooPapi

Hi girls..

Feeling a bit disappointed today. Rang my GP today to report the pregnancy and she told me to get in contact with early pregnancy unit as they normally scan early with a previous ectopic. Rang them and they said they wouldn't bring me in for a scan unless I was having symptoms of an ectopic like before. I thought I was going to be getting an early scan to put my mind at ease. Will maybe just book a private one

FireflyGirl · 04/11/2020 13:24

@Hopefulmummie I think with Covid, they're really limiting scans.

If you do book privately, don't book before you're 7 or 8 weeks - they're unlikely to be able to see anything and you'll end up worrying more. Easier said than done, I know!

Hopefulmummie · 04/11/2020 13:34

@FireflyGirl I was thinking that. Yeah was going to book for 8 weeks but thinking can I last that long so might try for just over 7

BecsterG · 04/11/2020 21:17

Sorry @ChampooPapi I'm late to the party. I hope all has gone well today x
