Gorgeous news on the arrival of your beautiful rainbow baby girl @FireflyGirl ❤️ Enjoy those amazing newborn snuggles ❤️

@MilsCookie That’s so exciting you’re in the 30 weeks now!! That’ll be me on Sunday and DP’s mum sent me this pic the other day, saying this is almost how big our baby girl is RIGHT NOW! The pic is DP and his twin brother, born at 30 weeks 😍 It’s madness to think how little they were, but how unbelievably healthy and fit they are as adults! I know it must be so scary thinking of your little girls being born early, but they’ll be grand 🥰 DP and his twin are honestly two of the fittest people I know! DP has an annoying level of baseline fitness, he can go weeks without training and then just smash a 10k run super fast, or ride 100 miles on his bike without training and be totally fine! His twin is so fast at running too that Usain Bolt would have a hard time catching up with him 😂 So an ace positive example to keep in your head ❤️

@TerribleImagination oh goodness so tiny and cute! It's probably impossible to equate those mini fairy babies with the strong giant men they are today, it's so hopeful to see them little ones 🥰

ChampooPapi · 27/10/2020 11:26

Yes @Fizzl 🌈 come join us when your ready, everything crossed for your scan 🙌

ChampooPapi · 27/10/2020 11:30

I can't upload the NHS hospital restriction matrix ,either in pdf or excel but I'll try and find it from the thread I got it from later

ChampooPapi · 27/10/2020 11:32

That's obviously not it, just an article I just read

MilsCookie · 27/10/2020 12:20

@Fizzl eeek I'm just so so happy for you! You were there for me on here when I was going through the horrific procedure of medical the surgical management at the hospital in Vietnam and I'll always be so thankful to you for that 🙏😘 and I have a very good feeling about your little bean!! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and have everything crossed for your scan... I remember how nervous I was at my 6 week scan (when they discovered 2 heartbeats 🙈🤣) I also didn't have any sickness at all in my first trimester.... extreme tiredness and insatiable hunger were my main symptoms! Try not to worry about it...although easier said than done I know!

@ChampooPapi yeah you're right... they'll be taken away whenever they come I'm sure 😩 gonna be so hard. But just want them to be safe and healthy. What's mad is because we've had so many other worries since 20 weeks we've both forgotten about there potentially being a genetic issue... so there's still that to worry about when they're born! It must be so hard for you too... and you've got your other daughters to worry about, let alone your new additions!! Have you got lots of people around who can help with them while you're in hospital? Yep they're doing growth measurements tomorrow too... they only do those every fortnight. But they check blood flow/fluids/dopplers every week. I'm hoping the bigger twin is now over 3lbs and the little one is close! That would be great if you can find the matrix thing but don't worry if not.

@TerribleImagination wow 🥰 thank you for sharing that photo!! Look how dinky they are 😍😍😍 it's so reassuring to hear how fit and healthy your partner and his brother are despite being born at 30 weeks! It's crazy to think our babies are that size now!

BS9790 · 27/10/2020 12:41

I'm so annoyed about the covid restrictions, it's so unfair that's its different at each hospital. A hospital 5 miles down the road from me, my hubby could visit for 4 hours per day, but at ours he can't visit at all. Really frustrating.

I am anxious about Thursday but it will be such a relief to have him here and safe.
I'm still so stressed over his movements, they are basically non existent now... I went for my pre op covid swab today and they put me on the monitor for reassurance, spent most of the hour showing no variability on the trace whereas he used to move constantly on it! I'll be glad when he's here and I can keep my eye on him 😂

Whiffle77 · 27/10/2020 12:41

If you look at pregnantthenscrewed on insta @MilsCookie and then click the link in their bio, that will take you to the excel document @ChampooPapi mentioned Smile mine is still v strict unfortunately

BS9790 · 27/10/2020 12:43

Another positive 30 week story...
My goddaughter was born at 30 weeks weighing only 2lb4oz as she hadn't been gaining weight due to pre eclampsia.
She's now almost 10. She's the same size as her peers and she's so sassy and determined.

BS9790 · 27/10/2020 12:46

Just be aware that the excel sheet for hospital restrictions isn't up to date for all... as its incorrect for my local hospital. They changed our restrictions almost 3 weeks ago now but its not updated on the list xx

AlviesMam · 27/10/2020 15:23

Well my cervix is closed!
Induction booked for 9th November if nothing happens before then. Thought I'd atleast be 1-2cm Sad

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/10/2020 15:23

@TerribleImagination
They look so cute!!!

Can't wait for twin pics from this group 😍

Got my midwife appointment today and all is good.
Despite anterior placenta she found the heartbeat straight away with her doppler.
She was happy with everything and did swabs again for the water i have as discharge recently.
I am booked in for 20w scan on 17th November after all as they need me to be closer to 21w.
And i have a glucose test on 22nd december so ages to prepare for it 😂

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/10/2020 15:24

@AlviesMam so she couldn't do sweep?
Sorry i am very uneducated about this.

AlviesMam · 27/10/2020 15:25

@SunnySideUp2020 it means she couldn't even get a finger through my cervix Sad so baby is clearly nice and comfy. Getting another one done next week when I'll be 40+1! X

BS9790 · 27/10/2020 15:42

@AlviesMam, get bouncing on your ball and walking lots! I think going side to side on your ball is supposed to get baby to put pressure on cervix too?
Don't be disheartened though, I think it actually means very little... I was 2cm, 3 weeks ago and it's still progressed to nothing ha. My friend went for a sweep and was told they couldn't do it as cervix was closed, she had her baby 48 hours later 🤷‍♀️

I've lost my plug today. 🙈 probably be sods law I go into labour the night before my planned section... Ffs 🤣🤣 my monitoring today showed lots of quite strong tightenings, I've also got period like cramps. 😬

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/10/2020 15:52

@AlviesMam i see. Must be disappointing i understand... hope the walking and bouncing will get her moving!!!

@BS9790 what happens if you go into labour before the planned c sec? Will they attempt vaginal delivery? Or an emergency c section?

BS9790 · 27/10/2020 16:19

@SunnySideUp2020, would be recommended an emergency section now at this gestation. But I would be able to choose to try a vaginal delivery if I wanted to x

Leok83 · 27/10/2020 18:31

Wow so much has happened since I last read the thread!!

@FireflyGirl congratulations!!! Amazing news🎉🎉 hope you are all doing well!!

And so exciting that so many of you are all now so close to meeting your little ones!! There'll be a lot born in the next few weeks it seems!

@TerribleImagination that's great work have been so good to you this week..hopefully will really ease the stress during the countdown to maternity 😊

@Fizzl best of luck with the appointment! I was same as you up until about 6.5 weeks I felt nothing really and then the morning sickness hit badly, only gone now last 2 weeks and I'm the height of it couldn't believe it was something I had wished for early on for reassurance😂

ChampooPapi · 27/10/2020 18:48

Yes @Whiffle77 ! This is the ones it just won't let me upload it and I could t find the link. As usual, I can rely on you 🥰

I know some of the hospitals are ever changing because of tiers but it is useful to see your own trusts policies as most should stay the same/similar in the coming couple of weeks (we live in hope). Also to see the differences is shocking really, obviously especially for trusts in the same low tiers for instance 😤

ChampooPapi · 27/10/2020 18:49

Though in the coming months I know these will all be obsolete!

HollieL567 · 27/10/2020 19:12

Hi ladies, not sure if this is the thread I need? And if so if I can join?
May 19 I had an ectopic pregnancy
December 20 I had a baby with a severe neural tube defect called Anencephaly which sadly is not compatible with life (it was the most heartbreaking time if my life) so I had to be induced at almost 16 weeks.
Roll on to now and Sept 20 I had a missed miscarriage at 12.5 weeks and baby had died at 8ish weeks.
Few days ago I started my first period since then and so will be TTC in around 2 weeks when I imagine I will be ovulating. It's all gonna be so bloody scary though! 🥺

I just brought this, very useful post c section I imagine to have things close, but also just generally for in the night with a newborn, just having the phone, a muslin, water close by like that

@HollieL567 I'm so sorry to see your post, you have been through an awful lot, it is heartbreaking to me to think of what you've experienced this past 18 months. Lovely, this is the link to the thread below that we were all a part of at one time or another, this one is for graduates who are now pregnant after miscarriage, termination for medical reasons, or baby loss. I'm going to ask our op to change our title so it's clearer for others going through the same. The thread I've linked is amazing, everyone is so supportive and will be there for you every step of the way loving forward 😊
