@TerribleImagination looking fab and definitely ready to pop😄 hopefully she makes an appearance before you your next visit and you can avoid the sweep.

@scrumdiddly123 beautiful bump there too, that's so good the schools have closed now, at least it takes a weight off. I've 5 weeks until I start my maternity (technically 7 but taking 2 weeks as holidays) so the next few weeks will be high stress getting everything ready for when I'm gone 😬

@SunnySideUp2020 thanks for the updated list😊

Here's my bump today..seems to have grown a lot in the last couple weeks!

@SunnySideUp2020 gorgeous bump too 😊 sorry my page didn't update until I posted! I've also gained 12kg now, I think that's ok tho. I'm def not too worried about it!

TerribleImagination · 09/01/2021 17:42

I wouldn’t worry about the weight gain... I’ve gained about 23KG!! 😱🤣 But I honestly don’t feel like the rest of my body is massively bigger than before, so there’s obviously a lot of water, blood volume, general pregnancy related extras going on 🤷🏻‍♀️

FireflyGirl · 10/01/2021 19:44

I've been AWOL since before Christmas, sorry. Am just going to jump straight back in rather than going back over everything!

Lovely bumps, ladies!

Any progress today @TerribleImagination?

I gained 40lb over the whole pregnancy, and lost 30lb within a couple of weeks. I haven't lost the rest, as I'm constantly hungry from breastfeeding, and my diet is currently 50% chocolate Blush

I was planning to start swimming at the gym again once DS was back at school last week... Covid put paid to that! Which leaves us going for a walk. Again!!

Fizzl · 10/01/2021 20:31

@Leok83 ah that's good to hear! That's exactly what it feels like. I've noticed it gradually increasing (or I'm just more on the look out) so hopefully will feel some kicks over the next few weeks! Yeah we will have to live here unless
Covid restrictions drastically change. It does worry me slightly tho - we're having all new windows fitted and I remember the overpowering smell from the caulking/sealant and wondering if it will be safe?! Same with new carpets 😬 maybe I'm over thinking I don't know. I've told my husband that upstairs we should probably do in two halves so get one bedroom done first give it a few weeks to air out and then move into that room whilst out room is done. We're lucky we have two bathrooms so thankfully there will be no portaloo'ing in the garden 😂. I have a horrible feeling we're going to run out of time tho!

Thanks for the list @SunnySideUp2020 😄 can't believe I'm still at the bottom of the list though. Thinking of all the other girls on the ttc thread 🤞💐

@scrumdiddly123 it was a huge relief! She did ask if I wanted her to try and said they can't always find it at 16weeks. I was really unsure because I knew I'd worry massively if she couldn't find it but she reassured me that she felt confident she'd find it because I'm still fairly slim (which made me laugh because I feel anything but slim and little does she know how much weight I've actually put on as I wasn't weighed 😂) and she kind of convinced me to let her try and now I'm glad I did. Good news you can now work from home! Take it easy and hopefully those tightenings were just braxton hicks.

Lovely bump photos! I'll try and take one tomorrow but not really sure there's much there yet - I just look a bit fatter! I'm glad you've mentioned your worries about weight gain - I'm also fast approaching gaining a stone 😱 it has been worrying me a little! I'm hoping some of that was a combo of Christmas on top of baby weight and it might steady off a little now I'm eating better again. I felt slightly reassured that the midwife didn't event weigh me last week so she can't be concerned and I was comfortably within the healthy range to start off with so 🤞 it's all normal.

Just wanted to quickly jump on and say I am still here and I keep meaning to reply but then the night time rolls around again and I need to be asleep before I wake up at 1am to take over duty from DP! I will do my best to reply tomorrow! I can't believe how busy the days are with the constant feeding, winding, settling, changing of two babies every 2.5-3 hours! Not to mention the constant bottle prep of washing and sterilising bottles and teats and making milk (and that's with a prep machine!) I am loving it but you literally barely get a minute to yourself cos once the babies are asleep you have to do washing/cleaning bottles (as previously mentioned), try and eat something and perhaps do a load of washing (and I can't remember the last time I did any housework!) and then by the time you've done that one baby wakes up and the whole process starts again! I promise I'm not complaining I'm just trying to paint a picture as to why I've been rubbish haha. So will reply properly tomorrow! (And now this post is so long I should've just replied 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Thinking of you @TerribleImagination !!!!

TerribleImagination · 10/01/2021 22:49

No progress here sadly... Had a few pains but nothing remotely regular or consistent. Have had a very fed up and lazy day today 🙈 Basically cursing COVID and lockdown, because all I want to do is SOMETHING to distract myself from waiting for this baby girl to arrive!

Tomorrow is a new day and I’ll be back on the positive train, walking, squatting and doing all the things I can to encourage her to make an appearance 😆

BecsterG · 11/01/2021 07:24

@TerribleImagination that sucks. I did lots of bouncing with both boys and that seemed to work for me. I had one of those birthing balls as it was uncomfortable sitting on the couch for long towards the end. Fingers and toes crossed it won't be long now.

@Leok83 @SunnySideUp2020 @scrumdiddly123 lovely bumps ladies!

TerribleImagination · 11/01/2021 08:09

@BecsterG Yep I’ve been bouncing on the ball every day since 37 weeks 🙈 Getting on that bad boy as soon as I get up this morning 😂

SunnySideUp2020 · 11/01/2021 09:01

@TerribleImagination

Hoping it gets her moving!!!
When is your next MW appt?

Whiffle77 · 11/01/2021 11:18

Gorgeous bump pictures everyone!! 💞 lovely to see how far everyone has come on

Also jumping on to say dont worry too much about weight, I've lost most of what I put on already - and I am still eating ALL THE TIME!! feeding makes me so hungry. Also you are growing a baby remember, it is hard blummin work!

@TerribleImagination hoping things get moving for you soon!! I must say that even though I'm getting less sleep than I did when I was pregnant, almost every night I think "I am so comfy" when I'm in bed, those last weeks are hard when you are so uncomfortable - it is something to look forward to once baby is out!

Sorry everyone else is struggling with all the restrictions too, it is really hard. Just trying to be thankful for all the little things. @SunnySideUp2020 sorry especially that your family is so far away, fingers crossed things are better by your due date. Hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel soon!

@Fizzl we had our bathroom redone over 3 weeks from when I was 36 weeks - it was hard work but so pleased we have had it done now! It will be worth it im sure, we decided it would be easier whilst preggo than with a baby. And I've really enjoyed our new bath since having him!

DH is back to work today, he tagged some paternity onto the end of Christmas which has been so lovely - feels like we have been in our own little world. Little one was super needy last week which was hard work at times, but he has eased me in very gently to my first day on my own today so hopefully he is feeling better. According to Wonder Weeks he should have been in a leap last week which would explain the neediness!

TerribleImagination · 11/01/2021 11:31

@SunnySideUp2020 Next MW appointment is Friday, so I’ll be getting a sweep then too. Hoping I don’t need it though, obvs 😂

@Whiffle77 I keep thinking this! The sleep in these last few weeks is terrible isn’t it?! 🙈 So I’m definitely looking forward to sleep being more comfy, even if it is waaaay less regular 😂

BecsterG · 11/01/2021 11:43

@Fizzl we also renovated when pregnant with both my boys. The last lot of renovations was upstairs so had to wait to move my 3 year old into his big boy room and we had the bathroom done too. The renovations where finished about 10 days before I was due and a week before I had Jude. Pretty close but we did get it all done and it's so worth it before the baby comes. Hated living with the renovations though and because of Covid we had to live like that from March! 😂

@TerribleImagination that's good you're bouncing. She'll come when she's ready I guess but hopefully she's on the way. 🤞🏻

SunnySideUp2020 · 11/01/2021 12:14

@TerribleImagination
Ok well fingers crossed you won't need it!
I read that dates and raspberry leaf tea maybe help?
Obviously dtd. Personally i don't think i would be in the mood... but as a last resort perhaps along with some nipple stimulation!Desperate times/ desperate measures 😂
Come on little girl!!!!!

TerribleImagination · 11/01/2021 12:56

Haha @SunnySideUp2020 we DTD about a week ago I think and that was difficult enough with how massive I am 🤣 Desperate times though, so I may have to give it another shot 🤣

I’m on it with the raspberry leaf tea too... and evening promise oil! I think I need to accept she’ll just arrive when she’s ready haha!

scrumdiddly123 · 11/01/2021 17:28

Thanks @BecsterG! @TerribleImagination are you past your due date now? Hope you don’t have to wait much longer! Definitely do lots of bouncing! I spent 2 hours scrubbing my bathroom which got labour started with my second!
@SunnySideUp2020 I had my 28 week midwife appt today- I’ve put on 5kg since booking in which I’m ok with. She measured my bump for the first time though and it plotted well above the centile lines on my chart 😳 so I’ve now been referred for an urgent growth scan on Wednesday! I’m not overly worried as all my babies have been big (last two were both 8lb 12) so I’m fully expecting this little lady to be 9lb plus! Plus will be nice to see baby again ☺️

TerribleImagination · 11/01/2021 19:46

@scrumdiddly123 I am indeed, as of today! I was due yesterday, so could still have a little bit of a wait... hopefully not though 😂

scrumdiddly123 · 14/01/2021 16:51

How’s things @TerribleImagination? Anything happening?
I’ve been so busy the week has just flown! So ready for the weekend!
So I wanted to ask if any of you have had experience of baby measuring big? I saw the midwife on Monday and she referred me for a growth scan as my bump was measuring a couple of cm over what it should.
I wasn’t too concerned as all my babies have been 8lb plus but the scan showed this little one is measuring very big- her tummy and head are 4 weeks ahead of her gestation! She’s sitting right on the 95th centile with estimated weight of 3lb 1oz now (28 weeks tomorrow) and estimated birth weight of 9lb 11oz! So I’m now being tested for gestational diabetes and got to go back for another scan in 4 weeks to monitor her growth. Trying not to stress but feeling a bit anxious about it all!

scrumdiddly123 · 14/01/2021 16:57

Oh just realised I’d half explained the big baby story already 😂 sorry baby brain!

TerribleImagination · 14/01/2021 17:49

@scrumdiddly123 Nothing of any significance happening yet! I’m still getting niggles, but nothing has properly kicked off yet 😩 I’m 40+4 today and sooooo uncomfortable and fed up! Got my midwife appointment tomorrow, with a sweep, which I’m really not looking forward to, but getting it because I want to know what’s going on in there (cervix wise) and in the hope it might get things started 🤞🏻

SunnySideUp2020 · 14/01/2021 17:58

@scrumdiddly123
Unfortunately as you know i am FTM so no experience...
I hope you GTT comes back clear and she is just a chunky baby. Which is good! Unless they want to induce early...
What were you births like before?

@TerribleImagination
Good luck tomorrow xx

Jayjay1993 · 14/01/2021 18:01

Hello all! I am pregnant after a MMC last time... at what point does everyone ‘allow’ themselves to believe the positive tests and get excited? I’m still way before 12 week scan and I don’t know when I can get myself happy! I love hearing all your amazing stories xx

scrumdiddly123 · 14/01/2021 18:22

Thanks @SunnySideUp2020 yes fingers crossed it isn’t diabetes and she’s just a chubster 😂 I will likely decline induction if that’s what they suggest so hoping they won’t. My first baby was induced and the next two were very straightforward natural births. I really believe my body wouldn’t grow a baby too big to birth so as long as the GTT is clear then I’m happy to just let her come when she’s ready!
Oh @TerribleImagination I’m sorry you’re still waiting 😩 fingers crossed they can do a good sweep tomorrow and get things going!

scrumdiddly123 · 14/01/2021 18:24

Congratulations @Jayjay1993, hopefully as things progress you’ll naturally start to let yourself get excited! I know it took me til last 12 weeks to really believe this was it after 3 losses!
