@SunnySideUp2020 yes so pleased you can feel her now! Literally makes me so happy when I can feel her wriggling 🥰 roll on April for us!

AlviesMam · 26/11/2020 23:08

@scrumdiddly123 great news ! Xxxxx

BecsterG · 27/11/2020 05:06

Brilliant news @scrumdiddly123

Jude has just woken for his first feed of the night after going to bed at 8pm!! I'm amazed but omg my poor boobs. I was almost at the point of going downstairs to pump!!! Ouch 😩 My boobs were like Pamela Anderson's 😂😂but so painful! 👎🏻

@scrumdiddly123 gorgeous scan pic! Great all is well with your little girl😊!!

Fizzl · 27/11/2020 15:14

@SunnySideUp2020 based on my last scan I'm currently 9+5 today.

@FireflyGirl my friend had labyrinthitist before and said it was awful so full sympathies - hope you're feeling better soon!

@Leok83 you must have a stronger stomach than me 😂 I don't think she's incontinent - more she squats in her own pee because her back legs are weak (plus she used to be enormously over weight which didn't help because of all the extra strain she's had on her joints- she was a rescue so not our doing!). She also had nasty bladder infections in the past when we first got her so she has prescription dog food to prevent that happening again and I don't know if it's that which causes her pee to smell really strong? The dog biscuits stink! So any suggestions to cure smelly pee would be appreciated 😂 she doesn't have an infection anymore, we got that cleared up a few years back but her pee has always smelt really strong. (Sorry I feel like I'm derailing this thread with my woes of dog pee! 🤦🏼‍♀️)

@scrumdiddly123 lovely scan photo! She looks very cute in there! Glad everything went well with your scan.

SunnySideUp2020 · 28/11/2020 18:11

@MilsCookie how are you doing?
How are your girls?

ChampooPapi · 30/11/2020 09:20

1st of December tomorrow 🎄 I can't believe we are getting on for 2021, the year of many more rainbow babies ☺️. March and April are going to come round so fast arnt they ladies? @MilsCookie how are you girls? How are you doing in yourself? It's bloody hard the first few weeks, especially for you with at least one of your girls in scbu. The first three weeks are the absolute hardest with newborns, yes they are a wonder but those first three weeks are the worst for sleep and getting into a routine often, from then on it really only gets easier, different challenges but definitely easier.

How is everyone else doing?

@SunnySideUp2020 have you seen the Mori black Friday sales 😆. Also Boden 😍 I got a guinnea pig nightie for my nearly 3 year old, she's obsessed with them, it is too cute!

I'll upload a photo

ChampooPapi · 30/11/2020 09:23

Oh balls I think the black Friday sale is off now 🤦 Boden had 30 percent off all the baby and kids stuff too, sure they'll do it again before Xmas though

ChampooPapi · 30/11/2020 09:24

Their womenswear sale is still on though 😏

ChampooPapi · 30/11/2020 09:25

@AlviesMam how's everything going your end of things? How's that gorgeous baby of yours? 💖

SunnySideUp2020 · 30/11/2020 09:28

@ChampooPapi how are you?
How's life with 4 girls 😉 ? How are the twins doing???
i ordered Mori again last week haha i won't miss a sale!
Although because i already have a full wardrobe until 3 months i only ordered small items.

We bought everything. Pram, travel system, the next to me cot, diaper bin, bath and the list is endless. DH office is now a storage room.
We are so impatient!!!
I feel her move everyday kicking and all so it's all becoming so exciting.
4 more months to go 🥵🥵🥵

SunnySideUp2020 · 30/11/2020 09:33

Anyone willing to share some (MN safe) rainbow baby pictures? 😬

TerribleImagination · 30/11/2020 10:30

Morning everyone! 😍

@ChampooPapi Oh the Black Friday sales get me every year and this year I was even more sucked in by the baby related sales haha! I did treat myself to some MORI stuff! Muslins and blankets though. I got a couple of super cute bits for baby girl in the gap sale too, it was 50% off everything! 😱😂

How’s everyone’s little rainbow babies going?? I can’t believe it’s almost December and so many more will be born soon! I looked at the list the other day and couldn’t believe my name was 2nd already!! It doesn’t seem that long ago I was bottom of the list and crossing fingers hard! ❤️

I’m doing good! Hurt my back last weekend though, which has now triggered sciatica - ouch! So I’ve been hobbling around keeping it moving, stretching and all that jazz to try and make it better! Other than that just the usual for this stage, tired and walking like I have a bowling bowl between my legs, as my friend told me yesterday 😂 I’m 34+1 now! Not long to go at all... I’ve popped a little bump pic on from just now! I’ve got 3 more weeks left in work and then it’s mat leave time, woohooooo!

How’s everyone else doing? xx

AlviesMam · 30/11/2020 11:23

Hi all!
I can't believe we're in December soon! And it's getting even more closer for some more rainbow babies!
Me & Paisley are doing well, here is a little picture of her staring at me...she loves to stare for hours!
Hopefully back in my house next week this is if SCS hurry up and deliver my carpet on time
She's suffering with wind but doesn't scream with it just can't get to sleep! I've experienced quite a few poo explosions already too lol! The joys but she's super chilled and each day and night gets that little bit easier. She loves her Moses basket but not keen on her crib upstairs but she does sleep in it eventually after some white noise!
Hope everyone is well!
Have we all started Xmas shopping yet?

@MilsCookie any more updates on those beautiful twins?
@ChampooPapi How are your girls doing?!

Lots of love xxxx

@TerribleImagination it's flying by!! Look at that gorgeous bump! Not long now xxxx

SunnySideUp2020 · 30/11/2020 12:57

@TerribleImagination omg lovely bump!
You are almost there!!!!
I did buy on gap online sale too there were some super cheap cute stuff :) i also got some maternity/nursing tops

@AlviesMam
She is soooo cute 😍 sounds like you are feeling better and things are coming into place, which is nice to read 😊

AlviesMam · 30/11/2020 18:33

Just to clarify I meant paisleys poo explosions not mine 😂😂

Leok83 · 30/11/2020 20:17

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm glad to hear you have all your stuff too..I got loads in BF sales and DH thinks I'm way ahead of myself! I don't even have clothes bought yet! He seems to think January is ok to start getting things, he's very much a leave everything to last minute guy and I'm always super prepared and organised so polar opposites! Great you are feeling all the kicks now😊 My DH has been able to few them since last week and it's great..I was a bit worried tonight he was quiet and then turned on the tv and he's kicking away..the tv seems to set him off😄

@AlviesMam aw gorgeous pic of Paisley! Sounds like you are both doing great!

@TerribleImagination lovely bump pic! You are soooo close now..very exciting!!

@Fizzl aw sorry I've nothing for you on the smell other than keep the hair clipped if she has long hair and clean her daily..and if she hasn't had a vet check recently maybe get one again to check urine again for UTI and also see if she could be on meds for her legs if they are stiff (but if they are weak rather than stiff there's not much can be done for that unfortunately). How are you getting on? When is your next scan?

I have finally managed to get someone for my maternity cover!! They worked at a place I previously worked and didn't get the best reference but literally I had no one else so have to take a risk on it!! Have them starting a month before I leave so at least I can give some guidance before I leave. So 11 weeks until maternity leave and only 7 more weeks of doing out of hours on call😊😊

Hope all the new babies are getting on well!!

BecsterG · 30/11/2020 21:27

@TerribleImagination amazing bump picture. Not long to go now!

Aww how cute @AlviesMam. She's adorable! Not so good about the wind but so pleased it's not bothering her.

We are doing well and settling into life as a family of four. Jude will be 10 weeks on on Friday! It's crazy where the time goes. It's going either fast than it did with my first DS! Tonight at dinner, Max my 3 year old was dancing to a song from batman (superhero mad) and Jude was watching and he started laughing at him. It was the cutest thing. Max was over the moon. 💙. Jude has also started to do 8 to 9 hours stretches so I'm finally getting to catch up on some sleep. Whoop finally!! Hang in there ladies.

Thanks loves! 😍

Aww @AlviesMam and @BecsterG look at those gorgeous little faces! ❤️

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/12/2020 11:02

@Leok83 sounds like DH and I! I eventually convinced him that buying everything now is less stress later on.
I also started involving him in researching products and all and he got tired of it so let me do all the shopping. 😄

I did another Mori order this morning. It's the third. I think i have a problem or an addiction😅😕

For movements mine also goes quiet some days (worrying) but when i go to sleep she starts the gymnastics. Loves it at 4 am and 7 am. Also moved lower yesterday so now kicking my cervix/colon area... just lovely 😨

That's such great news for your maternity cover!
You can start mat leave in peace, that's just great, you can relax finally!

@BecsterG
Jude is so handsome! 😍😍😍 those deep blue eyes 💙
And sounds like a good sleeper now!

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/12/2020 11:12

No baby pic but first snow yesterday for us 😇

Hey everyone,

Sorry I have been MIA, as you can imagine it's pretty full on at the moment! The girls and I are doing really well. My recovery has been pretty tough but I'm feeling so much better than I did last week. Frankie and Georgie are now in the low dependency unit at the hospital after 4 days in high dependency. They're doing so so well. At first Frankie needed breathing support and they both had to have time under the UV lights for jaundice. They were both in incubators to help them maintain their temperatures. In low dependency it's as it sounds really, they need a lot less support so they're in open cribs but now they only have their feeding tubes, all the other heart rate monitor tubes etc have gone! They would've been 35+1 today so the focus this week is getting them used to sucking feeds as opposed to being fed through a tube.

I have been trying to establish my milk supply so pumping every 3 hours which is kiiiiillling me. especially as I'm only getting about 10ml per session and they need about 100ml per feed at the moment! So they're going to introduce them to formula so at home they will be combination fed - which I expected anyway.

I don't have time to catch up with the whole thread right now but I'm thinking of you all and sending lots of love!! And hope you're all doing well 😘 xxx

Fizzl · 01/12/2020 16:30

Ah beautiful photos of your babies @BecsterG and @AlviesMam

I'm very jealous of all the Black Friday hauls everyone has been able to take advantage of! I must admit I had a sneak peak and realised it was far too soon to be buying anything yet so I resisted! January sales might be more tempting tho...

@MilsCookie great to hear from you and it's lovely to hear you're all doing well and you're slowly starting to recover. Sounds like the pumping is a bit of a rough ride but you're doing well! And you have your work cut out because there is the two of them to feed so it's no easy task so you're doing great.

@Leok83 thank you! I might nip her back to the vets just to double check her over. I think sadly she's just a very old girl and she's suffering the woes of old age! But otherwise I'm doing good thanks. The nausea is a bit 🥴 at times but I'm finding things which help and I find it strangely reassuring that I feel quite grim most of the time! I had another scan today, everything looking great - they actually resemble a baby now on the photo and they were wiggling around on the screen which was lovely to see! Measuring just over 10 weeks so still where I expected! Great news about your maternity cover too! You must be relieved. How are you doing otherwise?

@SunnySideUp2020 that photo looks amazing! Looks so peaceful there. No snow here yet although it is freezing!
