@MilsCookie such an epic day tomorrow! This time tomorrow you'll have had your babies and be drinking tea and eating toast, and you will also no longer feel queasy or like retching when you brush your teeth 🙏😆.
We've ran this quite exceptional parellel journey together. I found out about my miscarriage too at my twelve week scan which was also pretty much exactly a year ago from the birth of my twins. That was on October the 22nd last year so and year and one week later I delivered them. And of course we both discovered we were not only having twins but both girls !
You have been an incredible support to me and everyone else that comes onto this thread, and you are so kind and open hearted, and your strength had courage throughout this pregnancy has been inspiring. I certainly will never forget it 💜
We love you and we can wait for your update, whenever that comes, we will understand if it's not for a while. Hospitals are strange places and the world outside often doesn't feel like it's exists until you leave with your baby, or babies!, In your arms.
My advise is to keep up with the pain relief religiously post section, the first two weeks you need to take something every 4 hours unless your asleep.
But by early Tuesday morning or late monday night try to ween yourself off the oromorph. Definitely take it the first 12 hours afterwards as it really is the best for the pain, it's a big operation after all, paracetamol just doesn't cut it initially, but you will find it starts to not hit the spot any more or relax you, it actually starts to make you feel anxious, that's when to stop (unless your in a lot of pain still then obviously knock yourself out on it!).
You will be so well looked after in recovery, and it really will be ok, trust me, you will be their number 1 priority tomorrow with prem twins, you will get the absolute best treatment and care.
So excited for you lovely 💖💖💖
