Ahh good luck for tomorrow @MilsCookie I'll be thinking of you! What a year it's been! 💐😄

scrumdiddly123 · 22/11/2020 21:41

Just wanted to come on and say a massive good luck for tomorrow @MilsCookie! I’m so happy and excited for you that your girls will be with you so soon 😍 you’ve done amazingly well to keep them inside for 34 weeks and given them the best possible start. Will be thinking of you all day tomorrow and checking for updates! Xxx

TerribleImagination · 22/11/2020 22:08

Loving all the love here today ❤️ This thread has definitely been a lifeline this year! I hope one day we can all meet up with our rainbow babies 😍

AlviesMam · 22/11/2020 22:44

I would love to do a meet up once covid goes away xxxx

Ejb86 · 23/11/2020 07:21

@MilsCookie sending you all the love and luck in the world today. Xxx

Whiffle77 · 23/11/2020 07:42

Thanks @MilsCookie - today is the day!!! 🥰 Good luck!!

I know @ChampooPapi - only two more sleeps now, ahhhh! I cant really believe it, it seems to be here very quickly but equally I have been pregnant forever. Two pregnancies in 2020 has been hard work...

Yes in at 7.15, had my bloods and covid test yesterday so just hibernating until then now. I feel ok about the thought of it all, im now just absolutely petrified at the thought of having a baby! This is obviously very much what I want but I'm just suddenly panicked at the thought of looking after this tiny human, I have no clue what's to come! Daunting! But exciting. How are you and your girl gang getting on?

Ahhh @AlviesMam this thread and all the babies can be a lot to deal with when we've all got hormones running everywhere too!! 💞 i too would not have coped this year without the thread, and without the ttc thread

Thanks @SunnySideUp2020 I think I'm ready in the sense of i have everything, but mentally I'm not sure!! I am very ready to not be oregnant any more though as I just can't get comfy at all. Im sure I will miss my bump once it has gone though!

MrsB16 · 23/11/2020 07:50

Good luck @MilsCookie! Thinking of you, your partner and your girls today! Hope things go well and there is a little or no NICU stay. Keep strong, your girls will be absolutely amazing! X

ChampooPapi · 23/11/2020 08:52

Guys @MilsCookie babies will be coming out right now! Or out already as she's first up! I'm all over the shop! I really hope we get even just one sentence to say she's ok in the next 24 hours 🤞

@Whiffle77 I hear you girl! And actually I do not miss my bump at all, i have to admit I never really do 😆. I like my own body not being encumbered by this frontal bowling ball, and all the quasyness it brings, plus the weight on your pelvice ect...no not missing mine one bit, you'll feel so liberated once your baby is out, don't feel bad if you also have no nostalgia about bumping around in the third trimester ☺️

Pregnancy is a means to an ends after all

ChampooPapi · 23/11/2020 08:53

Also wine tastes better when your not pregnant 😏

BecsterG · 23/11/2020 09:18

Wow I've missed so much over the weekend!!

@MilsCookie good luck today! So excited our girls will be here today! What a journey you've been on. Can't wait for an update.

@Whiffle77 your turn next! Good luck.

So excited for the babies arriving this week. Really love this thread. Can't wait for all the babies to be here and the other ladies on the conception thread moving over!

Xx

I agree @ChampooPapi but I think that's because you can have a bigger glass! Ha ha

Friday was a really trying day for me with my 3 year old and I was gagging for a drink but by the time my littlest monkey was down there was now point. 😢 He was very fussy with boob and bottle after his jags so wasn't a happy bunny.

The last two nights however both monkeys were down for 20:00 so I had a big glass of wine on both nights! Ha ha 👍🏻

ChampooPapi · 23/11/2020 11:58

@BecsterG yes too right, a few third trimester sips of 'viniger wine' (all wine tastes of this when pregnant) doesn't tantalise really!

A glass most evenings is medicinal during these newborn times 🙏 I also just remembered I could eat un-pasturised cheese. I still keep thinking I'm pregnant, must get brie immediately!

SunnySideUp2020 · 23/11/2020 12:06

@ChampooPapi i am French and i honestly just can't go without the cheese for so long.
So i managed to find a brie of pasteurised milk 😅 heaven.

AlviesMam · 23/11/2020 16:20

@ChampooPapi @SunnySideUp2020 @BecsterG

Red wine for me alllll the way. Surprisingly I haven't had a glass yet!!

BecsterG · 23/11/2020 17:04

@AlviesMam give it time 😂

I found I couldn't have one for ages because as soon as I bought about it my milk monster wanted the boob again! Ha ha

OP posts:
Whiffle77 · 23/11/2020 17:29

Oh god I cant wait to get on the red wine!!! Ive missed it all so much, @ChampooPapi is right that it doesn't taste right while preggers!

Nhs says you can have brie if it is fully heated so I have been doing that (a lot) so I havent missed it too much! Bacon and brie sandwiches. Can't wait for a Christmas cheese board though 🐷🐷

TerribleImagination · 23/11/2020 17:32

People who’ve had their babies, tell me, just now glorious is it being able to sleep on your back again?! 😂 I’m not a massive drinker, so giving up the booze has been easy, but my god I’m looking forward to even an hour of comfy sleep on my back! 🥰

TerribleImagination · 23/11/2020 17:33

Oh and steak tastes rank to me whilst preggers, so that’s one I’m also looking forward to 🤤

Whiffle77 · 23/11/2020 17:35

Oh god yeah the sleeping, I am looking forward to when I have healed in a few weeks and can lie normally!!

AlviesMam · 23/11/2020 18:10

@TerribleImagination I was just thinking this last night whilst laid on my back thinking this feels amazingggggg!
Turning over is bliss too 😄

TerribleImagination · 23/11/2020 19:57

@AlviesMam Oooh turning over easily sounds amaaaazing 🤣

MilsCookie · 24/11/2020 02:40

🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

Introducing you to...

⭐️ *Frankie Jean (twin 2) born at 12:55pm weighing 5lb 2oz

⭐️ Georgie Mary (twin 1) born at 12:58pm wearing 3lb 14oz*

🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

Both girls are doing really well in the High Dependency Unit. Surprisingly Georgie is the stronger twin, just needing an incubator for temperature regulation and feeding. Frankie struggled a bit with her breathing and so needs a little bit oxygen support. We are totally in love with them and cannot believe they're finally here!! 👧🏼👧🏼

AlviesMam · 24/11/2020 03:03

@MilsCookie

Just doing the night feed and I'm in tears 😭😭😭😭
Absolutely over the moon for you
Sending love to all four of you, you finally have your rainbows xxxxxxxxx

Ejb86 · 24/11/2020 04:18

@MilsCookie oh my goodness! They are so beautiful and perfect. Well done you wonderful lady, your daughters are incredible and such good sizes too!
