Aww massive congrats @AlviesMam 🥰🥰 I’m so happy to log on and read this! So sorry you had a traumatic birth, but echo what others have said, don’t be afraid to reach out for support with that. Enjoy soaking up all those newborn snuggles! ❤️🌈

Ejb86 · 07/11/2020 11:07

Congratulations to you both @AlviesMam and @ChampooPapi.

Shed a little tear for my girls when reading all about yours @ChampooPapi. They're so beautiful. Xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 07/11/2020 11:37

Congratulations @AlviesMam 💖
You did it!!!!
Sorry to hear it wasn't the birth you hoped for though.
I hope you are recovering and soon home with your little girl! Xx
😇

FireflyGirl · 07/11/2020 14:07

Congratulations on your beautiful daughter, @AlviesMam. Such a lovely name, and a good weight!

Sorry you had a difficult time. Most trusts now offer counselling after birth, where a specially trained midwife will discuss with you what happened. You should ask your midwife if that's an option.

Would love to see photos, if you want to share either on here or Facebook.

How are you doing today, @BS9790?

mlax · 07/11/2020 14:51

Wow I have missed SO much!!! Congratulations on your girls @ChampooPapi and hope recovery isn't too painful! Enjoy every minute with your rainbow girls!

Oh @AlviesMam I'm so pleased you finally gave birth!!! Sorry you also had a tough time but like you say, think all of our rainbows will be worth all the pain in the world! Also love her name 😍

Enjoy ladies!!! Xx

MilsCookie · 07/11/2020 15:26

Ahhhhh huge congratulations @AlviesMam!! You did it! And you now have your rainbow 🌈 so sorry you had such a tough birth. Hope you have a speedy recovery! Can't even imagine how exhausted you must be right now, but try to relax now, she's here and safe and this is the moment you've been dreaming of for so long ❤️. Sending lots of love to you all!

@BS9790 sorry you're back in hospital lovely, you must be gutted 😞 Sending big hugs and hope you recover soon! Xx

BS9790 · 07/11/2020 17:27

@AlviesMam, yay congratulations! Enjoy those newborn snuggles ❤️❤️ so happy for you.

I'm with you on the traumatic birth... When I was back at triage yesterday a lady came in who was in early labour, I broke out into a sweat and was crying and shaking listening to her. Thought I was going to have to leave 🙈 deffo just the one baby for me.

I'm home yes, 2 different types of antibiotics, numbing gel, laxatives and suppositories 🙈 back on Monday to see consultant to see what's going on with my pelvic floor (the answer is nothing... It just doesn't work 😭)

rainbowbaby2021 · 07/11/2020 17:31

Hi guys,
Please can I join, just had a positive test today so may be jumping the gun a tad as I've had mmc and 2 chemicals this year already and I'll be honest Not did my period for another 4 days yet but maybe you will
All give me some luck!!

Congrats to all by the way! Comforting to know you all have been through the same
X

@MilsCookie such a beautiful message, your words meant so much to me when I saw your post , the world 💜 The message had me in proper floods of tears, I then read it again and all the other ones from all of you women to my partner and we were both crying within the second sentence of the first post after I announced they had arrived safely.

You all are incredible women!

@AlviesMam congratulations! Oh my goodness you are amazing! So do happy for you and your partner, I was also so tearful reading your update, I can't believe she's here, we are all so so proud of your and so relieved too. I'll post again to see how your doing soon, we love you! 💜

Whiffle77 · 09/11/2020 07:38

Good luck @Leok83!

MilsCookie · 09/11/2020 11:59

Morning all ☀️🌈

How is everyone today? I'm 32 weeks today and I can't believe it. I feel like I have to pinch myself with every week that passes! I'm super uncomfortable and basically don't move very much from the sofa these days... I can't lie flat when I sleep anymore and apparently I snore like a pig 🙈 I feel so bad for DP.

Hope all the new mums are doing well... you're all in my thoughts 🥰 is it me and you next @Whiffle77?! Hopefully I'll get my c section date through this week and I also have a scan on weds... the final growth check before they're actually born! 😬😱

Looking forward to your update later @Leok83 😊

Chickoletta · 09/11/2020 12:42

Hi ladies,
I’m out I’m afraid. 5+4 and bleeding like a heavy period.
Spoke to emergency midwife who said not to lose hope but this, coupled with the wrong weeks on the CB digital make me think I’ve definitely lost the baby. They’ve booked me in for a scan on Weds morning.

Gutted, obviously, but I’d prepared myself this time really.

I’m at work, carrying on as normal as I don’t think I can bear to be at home and think about it all too much.

Sorry to bring a downer on the group after such a joyful couple of weeks.

😥
