OK so the title isn't the best haha but didn't want to lose you all and the other thread is filling fast! Gonna flip between the two to tag everyone and make sure I get the usernames right.

@Needallthesleep ah hope the little one is doing ok with the heart issues ❤

@professorastrocat hope the tests go well and you get to come home again. I know my sisters twins were in and out with jaundice.

And thanks for the reassurance that its normal and not just me with the emotions lol I really don't know what came over me. Had a 2 hour nap and feel more sane now. Also TMI but seem to have a bit of an upset tummy... too much to hope its the early stages?!

Tongue ties are really common half the babies in my NCT group last time around had one!
My baby lost 4% of her weight then a week later weighed 6lbs more than her birthweight and the little chunky monkey has just carried on-she's just over 7 weeks old now and fills the Moses basket gonna have to move her into the travel cot she's so long!!
It's really strange for me coz my DD1 only weighed 5lb 8oz and was small until she hit 2 and now she's above average for height and just below average weight!!
My DD2 fits in clothes now that fitted DD1 when she was 5 months old!
Usually she wakes sometimes at midnight snd 3am or just at 3am I normally spend about an hour feeding, changing and cuddling her before putting her back in bed! Xx

Needallthesleep · 28/11/2020 08:38

@professorastrocat how’s the jaundice going? How’s your little girl?

professorastrocat · 28/11/2020 22:15

Thanks @Needallthesleep I think it's finally going. Tests came back all fine this week, it was really to make sure the levels were going down and to be safe than sorry really with her being 6 weeks now. How's you? Hope the little ones cold has gone!

How's everyone else?
@Hatepickinganame hope you're feeling ok

@Wise0wl hope you're ok? Any news?

@Lola871 how are you getting on?

professorastrocat · 28/11/2020 22:20

Ooo @whatsthecraic91 you're finishing work soon right? Bet you can't wait.

Wise0wl · 29/11/2020 00:35

@professorastrocat no news here. I’ve had to book in an induction for next week. I know it’s silly but my mental health is deteriorating in the meantime, I know I have no control over this but I’ve tried every old wives tale and nothing is working. It feels like I’m failing at the first hurdle and the clock is ticking.

Very glad the jaundice is going!

MummyBearBoo · 29/11/2020 05:32

@Wise0wl -have you ever had a sweep? I had 2 last time snd went in labour (38w+5days) the day after the second one this time I went in for the induction but they said I didn't need anything as I was ready but they needed to break my waters - they did a sweep then left me to wait for a bed in the delivery suite 5am the next morning my waters broke on their own and contractions started at 39 weeks -it might work? X

Wise0wl · 29/11/2020 07:14

Thanks @MummyBearBoo - I had one last week and have another today so your story makes me hopeful the second might get things moving! Hope you’re doing well? X

Needallthesleep · 29/11/2020 08:02

@professorastrocat so good to hear the tests are all fine.

I’m getting a little down about my DD’s sleep. She doesn’t have a bed time at the moment, and seems to not ‘go down’ until about 9.30pm. I assume she’s sleeping too late in the day so must address that i guess. Then she wakes every 3 hours still. It just feels like I’m the only one with this problem and everyone else’s baby is sleeping for 5 hour stretches. Had a little cry this morning.

Hatepickinganame · 29/11/2020 08:20

@Needallthesleep ah it must be tough waking up every three hours but I wouldn't beat yourself up about it, all babies are different. My 3 have all started sleeping through at different stages. My oh's 4 year old still wakes up once a night and gets in bed with us!

@MummyBearBoo nice to hear from you, glad all is well

@professorastrocat I'm doing ok thanks, just struggling with this last stretch I think! Had a proper meltdown yesterday, spent most of the day just crying. Our oven broke down and the youngest 2 were just constantly falling out and I honestly felt like I was failing as a parent. My poor oh is probably grateful to be at work today! Midwife tomorrow and consultant Tuesday. The end is in sight!

Thanks @Hatepickinganame -not long to go til you see your baby!!

I'm doing ok @Wise0wl this baby just eats so much she's almost grown out of her Moses basket she's really long -she's usually ok at night depending on what time we go to bed she wakes at midnight then 3am if we go early or just 3am if go to bed later!
@Needallthesleep - my DD1 used to wake every 2 hours for a feed and it was really difficult to get her back in her own bed after but it does get better it won't be like that forever!
Little things don't stay little for long!

MummyBearBoo · 29/11/2020 08:29

Glad the jaundice is getting better @professorastrocat xx

professorastrocat · 29/11/2020 09:14

Sorry people are feeling stressy. @Wise0wl you're in no way failing, but I understand you may feel fed up at this stage. Babies come when they are ready, please don't stress. I would just do things now that make you feel good, relaxed and chilled. Massages, nice food, movies, sleep, sex if you feel like it. Your body will respond better to being happy 😊 though can't do harm trying another sweep! Is it the induction that worries you or the waiting?

@Needallthesleep did you have more of a routine at this stage with your first? I haven't even thought at this stage we would have a strict bedtime etc, naps are still as and when which I understood can often be the case until more around 3 months. It takes them ages to even understand between night and day so they should just sleep when they sleep, particularly if it's a tricky growth spurt or leap. Just do what you can do to get as much rest as poss! And don't compare to others, that was my downfall last time.

If it helps my dd woke 5 times last night... it was a record, previous night was twice and slept 10-3, also a record!

@Hatepickinganame you moan away if it helps, the end is definitely in sight! Hope the appointments go well.

whatsthecraic91 · 29/11/2020 20:42

@professorastrocat hey! I finish work on Friday I can't bloody wait 🤩 really struggling now my PGP is next level, thought I was going into labour last weekend the pain was so bad 😢 just hope I can cope when the time comes 😂

Who all are still waiting for babies? As I know I'm the latest due date. I've completely lost track 😂

Hatepickinganame · 29/11/2020 20:48

I'm still waiting, 12 days to go! I've felt utterly crap today, braxtons all day, now feeling sick and just gross. Really hope its the start but will probably wake up still very pregnant 😅 @whatsthecraic91 when your due date again?

OP posts:
whatsthecraic91 · 29/11/2020 21:17

@Hatepickinganame I've had BH most days since 28 weeks!! Due on 2nd Jan so 35+1 now. Hopefully not long for you 🤞🏼

calimommy · 30/11/2020 02:08

@whatsthecraic91 not the latest by miles girl, I'm end of March 😂🤞
BH are such a tease @Hatepickinganame but if you don't normally get many of them then I hope it's the start of something for you!! I get them all the time, it's started earlier with each pregnancy or else I'm just more aware of them. With my second I was standing in the kitchen and had one quite strong BH which didn't feel any stronger than others I'd had but it burst my membranes and then we were off! He was nearly 3 weeks early. Hope it happens for you soon x

Hatepickinganame · 30/11/2020 05:13

@calimommy oh I get them all the time lol but normally randomly throughout the day, yesterday they were literally every 15-20 mins from 8am til I went to bed at 11pm. I've been up since 4am now and only had one! So frustrating. Glad I didn't call my oh out of work yesterday lol

OP posts:
calimommy · 30/11/2020 05:19

Oh bummer. Well fingers crossed it happens soon!

Hatepickinganame · 30/11/2020 14:51

@calimommy thanks. Just seen midwife, she thinks baby is breech again. Its gonna be a looooong 24 hours til my consultant app to confirm!!!!

OP posts:
calimommy · 30/11/2020 18:20

Oh no! I hope baby flips around x

whatsthecraic91 · 30/11/2020 19:28

@calimommy oh yea!! I'm not last then yay 😂

Jesus ladies the pain I've been in today isn't normal. Crazy bad trapped wind I had to leave work earlier it was so bad. My OH is away getting me peppermint tea & gaviscon

Hatepickinganame · 01/12/2020 13:01

@whatsthecraic91 I remember that pain so bad with my 2nd I was taken to hospital i couldn't stand up 😅 no idea at the time that it was trapped wind. So embarrassing.

I have consultant at 4.40 today... time seems to be dragging like mad. Can everyone please send me head down vibes 😅😅😅😅

OP posts:
professorastrocat · 01/12/2020 13:35
