Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Anyone else with a small age gap?
There will be 17months I think between mine. My baby is only 8 months now. Feeling a little worried about that.

How is everyone feeling today? The clock change really messed me up yesterday and I woke up very early this morning, hoping I perk up throughout the day!

Is anyone here self employed and thinking about how/when to work after LO arrives?

@Honeyandapple my DS is 10 months so there will be 19 months between mine all being well. Not quite sure how I'm going to manage 2 under 2!

There's 21 months between my eldest 2 and I didn't find it that hard at all. I know everyone is diff but they're the best of friends now and it's actually pretty easy ❤️

@Honeyandapple I have a 1yr old (in 2 days) so there will be 21 months i did want closer age gap but I'm excited to watch them grow x

Morning! Congrats @Honeyandapple! I was exactly the same the first few nights, couldn’t get to sleep due to excitement and lots of stuff going round in my head, but I think the tiredness has caught up with me as I turned out the lights at 10 last night and must have fallen asleep straight away, then didn’t wake up until 8! It’s my first baby so no age gap to think about for this pregnancy, I think I want 2-3 years between this one and my second though.

@purplepoppet92 wow I wish I was that fit! I used to do bootcamp and netball but they’ve stopped due to covid and I’m not as good at motivating myself virtually. Making sure I get out for lots of walks though and will be doing more yoga which I usually just do once a week.

@Nam095 that progression is great, and I hadn’t even thought to do another CB digital! I’ve got one left in the cupboard but the expiry date is 2023 so was going to save it for next time round...now I’m tempted though!! 😂

@PardonMyFrancais not self-employed myself but my friend was when she had her first and she went back after 3 months, she was lucky in that her husband was able to work flexibly / occasionally do part time hours and her parents lived nearby. I’m feeling good today, going to do some yoga and walking my sister’s dog at lunchtime. Also planned some healthy lunches and dinners last night. I always feel like Monday is a new week and find it good to start as I mean to go on (even if that means by Friday I’m lying on the sofa with pizza and chocolate 😂)

@robodo yes I think @stellarfox said her MN group moved over to Facebook quite quickly, I’m happy to set something up. I think it’s easiest to find people with an email address so maybe you girls would like to send me your email addresses privately and I’ll set up this evening?

Exactly what I've been thinking! My LB is one in December so barely any difference.

Although nothing compares to the lifestyle shock of the first 😂

@Lollipop87 Yeah, we moved over to FB quite quickly with my other baby. It was lovely - the ladies I have met through there have been my lifeline at times. Good to have support through the excitement and ups and downs

With the Facebook group - would other people be able to see we joined it?
I obviously wouldn't want people to see that as I am so early in pregnancy xx

I just got my booking appointment and 12 week scan through from the midwife! 30th Nov for booking appointment and 29th Dec for scan 🙊 I’m so excited I really can’t concentrate on my work now haha

I am so nervous to jinx anything but pretty please can I join? I'm 4+1 and also due 4th July! Was due on yesterday and I'm feeling 'wetter' (sorry tmi) and running to the toilet praying AF hasn't got me!
Had on and off cramps for the past 4/5 days and sore boobs but other than that nothing! Except now finding marmite delicious - is that pregnancy related or have my tastebuds just changed?!
Finding it really had to stop testing and just believe it and that it will all be ok. Pic attached is from Friday evening so 3+5 and 12dpo. Does it look dark enough?! I have a blood test drop in this week that I plan to go to today to confirm 🤞🏻 all is ok! X

@purplepoppet92 I’ve had a play around and you can mark the group as private (which means you can only be added no randos can join) and hidden which means no one will be able to see you’ve joined it and it won’t come up in search results or anything.

@Nam095 that’s so exciting!! Hoping I hear from the midwife this week.

@wilsonbump congratulations!! The wetness seems to have got most of us and yes I keep checking for AF too, my normal day due on would have been yesterday so now I’ve gone past it with no sign of the witch it’s starting to feel more real! That like looks great 😊 Not sure on the marmite thing, did you used to hate it? I haven’t had any cravings yet, still feeling a bit less hungry than usual

@Lollipop87 thank you! I think I just need to calm down and stop worrying but it's so hard 🥴. On the marmite front, yes I used to hate it but like I said it may just be tastebuds changing as I get older!

I have cravings already - come at me fajitas and SOUR CREAM!!! With my youngest it was cheese and ham baguette (absolutely not a sandwich) and with my friends youngest it was ice!!! X

@wilsonbump I know, I swing from worrying one minute to really happy and excited the next. Also the not thinking about it and concentrating on work is going really well...NOT!! One of the annoying things about wfh is that there’s no one looking over my shoulder which I kind of need right now to stop me googling and going on pregnancy sites and apps! 🙈

@Hopingfor3 ice is a random one but nice and healthy at least! I’ve set up the Facebook group (see attached images) but as it’s hidden you probably won’t be able to search for it - it says I can add by email address so if you all private message me your email address I’ll add you to the group 😊

I’d be keen to join a Facebook group! They can be made private but we could also give it a completely unguessable name just in case

@wilsonbump congratulations! That line looks pretty dark to me - I've been testing every morning to watch the line get darker and trying and believe that this is actually happening!

@PardonMyFrancais ive been testing all the time too. OH is going mad 😂. Made the mistake of testing yesterday aft on a cheapie with v dilute wee and it was lighter than the others so obviously started flapping. 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

@wilsonbump god it’s so hard not to obsess isn’t it. I’ve been doing mine as soon as I wake up but would happily do it every time I go to the loo 😂
