Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

@maudesid welcome and congratulations!! It’s my first baby too, was it your 1st cycle TTC? It was for us and we were surprised too, everyone always says it can take months so wasn’t expecting it to happen until Christmas / early next year! Now we’re moving house and dealing with early pregnancy at the same time but I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥰

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies and congratulations to everyone else who just joined too.hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

I on the other hand am so sooo exhausted 😩.The last two days I could hardly do anything.l honestly feel like I have been hit by ten trucks ! When will this horrible feeling end??

How is everyone doing?

purplepoppet92 · 25/10/2020 12:51

@brokenheart2003

I am weirdly jealous of you! I'm not experiencing anything yet! Very anxious and would welcome symptoms!!
I have noticed changes in my boobs ' darker and a blue vein!

How are the rest of you?xx

robodo · 25/10/2020 13:20

I feel so guilty today because I did a 13 hour night-shift last night with the clocks going back and had coffee and lucosade to keep me awake to drive home, I know it wouldn't have an affect but can't help but feel rubbish about it

Mylasmummy2102 · 25/10/2020 13:46

I got mine today! Done a few test the other day which showed faint lines abs I thought they were evaporation lines turns out they weren't got this come up straight away today so excited baby no 3 ❤️❤️

@stellarfox yes that progression looks lovely!

@Lollipop87 ah you told your MIL! I have no idea when to tell mine, it's something I'd like to tell them face to face but because I'm in tier 2 lockdown I don't know when the right time will be! Good luck with the house move, at least once the baby has arrived you will be settled in by then!

@Mylasmummy2102 @maudesid congrats ladies Smile

I haven't had many symptoms today, just boobs and nips are really sore Sad I get waves of nausea every now and again but nothing severe yet!

Mctm123 · 25/10/2020 14:11

Hi ladies can I join please? I am 4+3 today after an Ivf cycle. I am an anxious mess as I have had 3 miscarriages in the last year but we are blessed with a naturally conceived little boy who’s 5 now. We’ve been trying since him so this is a much wanted pregnancy which we desperately want to go to full term. I’ve had sore boobs, tiredness and hunger with the odd bit to nausea then today it’s completely stopped and I woke up at 5 with cramps but no bleeding. I am so scared as in some of the past pregnancies I have bled today. The cramping has stopped now it kind of felt like mild contractions then turned to a dull ache. I went back to bed and slept for an hour and it seems better now? Anyone had similar? Xx

Lollipop87 · 25/10/2020 14:14

@Mylasmummy2102 congrats!!

I’ve been finding it really hard to fall asleep at night, think it might be just my head is so full at the mo! My tummy also feels really weird today, like I need to poo even though I’ve already been (sorry for TMI!) Have any of you called your GP / midwife service yet? I called my GP on Friday, mainly to ask what the process is where I live so she directed me to self-refer online to the midwife unit in my nearest hospital. Apparently they call me within 10 days, reeeally excited to get my first appointment and first scan dates!!

@Mctm123 congrats and sorry to hear about your miscarriages. This is my first baby so I’ve no idea if what I’ve had has felt like mild contractions, but honestly my tummy has felt really crampy along with this new needing to poo but not sensation. Don’t know if that helps at all! Crossing my fingers for you for a healthy happy pregnancy 💕

stickytoffeepud1991 · 25/10/2020 15:15

@Lollipop87 thanks so much! Hope your weekend with the in laws is going good. What did they say?? My mam is in tier 3 so we told her and she was over the moon! I know the whole stigma around 12 weeks but I know if anything happened I would like my mam to know! Hope it is went well.

@stellarfox amazing! I love visiting the farm - my DD loves it and we went to one we’ve never been before so was good. Hope your weekend went well!

Congrats to everyone else who has had there BFP this week!! Xx

maudesid · 25/10/2020 15:34

Thank you for the welcome everyone and congratulations to you all!
@purplepoppet92 @Lollipop87 yes it was our first proper month ttc, been off the pill since feb but first month tracking ov I've got endometriosis and always been told I'd struggle I'm gobsmacked and worried in case it doesn't work out!

Blughbablugh · 25/10/2020 17:02

Welcome to the new ladies. I've been having on and off tingly boobs (feels a little bit like when I was breastfeeding), lower back pain and a bit of cramping. It's weird because I hardly remember anything like this in my first pregnancy at the start and didn't test until I was 2 days late. I guess my body knows what to do now and has just jumped back in. Plus it's 4 years on and I'm 37 now so I guess it will be harder.
To register with my midwife I just contact my surgery and they pass my details to the midwife and wait for her to call with my booking in. I'm not going to do this for a few weeks as the last time I did I had to call them back a week later and tell them I'd miscarried, so will wait until I'm about 6 weeks this time.

Lollipop87 · 25/10/2020 17:26

@stickytoffeepud1991 my MIL had the best reaction, she cried and was so excited but you could tell she was trying to calm down a bit but was finding it hard and kept smiling, it was so lovely to tell someone other than us. Can’t wait to tell my mum now, wish I didn’t have to wait 2 weeks but want to do it in person. Nice you got to tell your mum, yeah I think telling whoever you’d tell even if you had an early miscarriage is a good way to look at it. Finding it so hard not to tell my close group of girl friends, trying to be all normal on the WhatsApp group is hard! 😂

@maudesid I’m so happy it worked so quickly for you with your endo, my cousin has it and is struggling to conceive.

Hope you all had lovely weekends, does anyone have any tips for how to concentrate on work?? I feel like I got nothing done Wed-Fri last week but really need to get some stuff done this week, finding it really hard to focus on work though!

OP posts:
Nam095 · 25/10/2020 17:46

@Lollipop87 I couldn’t concentrate on work all week last week either! I’d love to hear other people’s suggestions as well as I’m going to struggle again this week 😅

HannahJH · 25/10/2020 19:04

I have just been catching up with all of the chat! So exciting for everyone getting their BFP's.

I think it is soo normal and common to worry about miscarriage, especially at this time of year with pregnancy loss awareness etc. It is common at 1/4 but that also means there is a 75% chance that it is all going to be fine which isn't terrible odds, and every day further we make it, the better our chances are

Lollipop87 · 25/10/2020 21:22

@HannahJH thanks for that positive stat, has made me feel so much better!! I’m going to try and worry less about symptoms coming and going, bloody tired actually might go to bed! Night all, have a good week 😊

Hi 👋 joining you as I got a bfp last night. It's half 2 in the morning and I can't sleep for the nerves / excitement.
EDD: 5th July

purplepoppet92 · 26/10/2020 07:00

@honeyandapple welcome!!

For any exercise bunnies - are you still exercising?
I know we can but im really scared!!
I weight lift and should be at the squat rack today but am anxious!!

Nam095 · 26/10/2020 07:23

@Honeyandapple congrats! ☺️

Took my last tests this morning, very happy with the progression 😁

I might buy one more how many weeks digital just so I can see a 3+ weeks result

HannahJH · 26/10/2020 07:35

@purplepoppet92 I played badminton (competitive matches) until 36 weeks preg with my first. I was so nervous for the first 20 weeks and then I just got progressively slower and less worried haha! I must admit I can't help but let it make me feel worried though. I walk the dog now daily but even if I go far/fast I'm like gah it's gonna shake the baby out 😂

purplepoppet92 · 26/10/2020 07:46

@HannahJH thats exactly it!! On Monday I do loads of burpees - I've removed them from my plan because of my fear that all the jumping will dislodge my LO!
I have just lifted a heavier weight on the squat rack and my heat rate is up now and I feel a little guilty, but I've to keep reminding myself that looking after my body is good for my baby and my pregnancy
