Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

@NotMorePeppa literally longest two weeks ever so far!!
I filled in my self referral form week before last (a I was excited and b I’m a teacher and was half term so had time that week..) and got a call last Monday I’ll be 6 +5 and she’s coming to my house! But appointment is between 9-12 so hard to tell work!!
Anyone else feeling really bloated by 5 o clock every day?

strawberrycherryblossom · 09/11/2020 18:27

@Luckyelephant1 10 weeks is normal I think. Mine was 8.5 weeks last time but our midwife is only at my GP every other week. My booking appointment this time round is next week (6 weeks something I think) but that's mainly because I'm not sure on my dates.

I'm sorry you feel dismissed but there's not really much that happens in the first few weeks. It feels a bit anticlimactic after your positive test though I do appreciate! If you have any questions we are more than happy to help here. Otherwise it's just a case of taking your vitamins and avoiding things like unpasteurised cheese and rare meat.

@inahaze I've booked a private scan for a few weeks time. I also have an NHS blood test tomorrow to check my HcG levels.

Congrats to all our new joiners Daffodil

Figarosbow · 09/11/2020 18:45

Hi everyone, going to have a proper read through in a min once I've put dd to bed.

Congratulations @SenoraSurf!

Had a tiny bit of pinky brown cm this morn when I wiped. I bled with both of my last 2 pregnancies so not overly worried but can't help being a little bit. Have booked a private scan for the 30th when I will be just over 7 weeks.

H told his mum earlier as he was bursting 🤣 she was expecting it anyways but was very happy which was nice.

Hope everyone's feeling OK 😊

Fluffin · 09/11/2020 19:41

Hi all! Just had bfp - is there a Facebook group? Due 23rd July 😊

MrsH2019 · 09/11/2020 20:04

Hi all trying to catch up. Congratulations all on the new BFPs. @Figarosbow how far along are you? I had spotting not too long after getting my BFP. I was told it was implantation or a breakthrough bleed.

@Fluffin congratulations. Yes there is a Facebook group. I actually think there are two lol. The one most of us are on is the one set up by the original poster of this group. If you or anyone wants to join just send her a private message it’s @Lollipop87 with your email address and she will add you. Alternatively I can add you but you need to become my Facebook friend first. Xx

NotMorePeppa · 09/11/2020 20:09

Thanks @MrsH2019, I think I’ll join you on the Facebook page so will message @Lollipop87 x

MrsH2019 · 09/11/2020 20:13

@NotMorePeppa I love your name lol. After the 10th episode today I was saying that to my toddler. Xx

Fluffin · 09/11/2020 20:13

Thank you @MrsH2019! I can't keep up on the threads!

Figarosbow · 09/11/2020 20:31

@MrsH2019 I'm early days, im only 4+1. How long did you have yours for? I had breakthrough bleeding at 4 and 8 weeks in my first pregnancy so could be that.

MrsH2019 · 09/11/2020 20:34

@Figarosbow I had exactly the same in my first pregnancy four and eight weeks. I was told the second time was from the placenta attaching. I had mine just for the day, I was pretty scared as it looked pink tinged with red. But it was literally just the day and only when I wiped. (Sorry tmi) xx

stickytoffeepud1991 · 09/11/2020 20:49

Nicolamca · 09/11/2020 21:03

Eek, I got my BFP on Friday after trying since March! This will be our first, feeling bloody nervous but excited at the same time that we're finally getting what we've been wanting for ages! My app says middle of July for my due date, which feels like ages away but I also reckon this time is going to go MEGA quick!

inahaze · 09/11/2020 21:07

I feel like I've been 5 weeks pregnant for everrrrrrrrr.....I will be so relieved to get the 1st trimester out of the way

FrankoBee · 09/11/2020 21:10

Hi 🖐🏼 I’m just catching up on the thread. We got out bfp yesterday completely unexpectedly after 5 years of trying and a failed ivf round. I can’t tell you how happy I am to be here. Very cautious but we’ll be due around 15th of July if everything goes well 🤞🏼

stickytoffeepud1991 · 09/11/2020 21:14

Congratulations 🥳 to everyone!!
How exciting!! Lots of beautiful babies going to be born June/July!!
If anyone wants to join the fbook group we have one set up. I don’t mind you PM’ing me your details xx

MrsH2019 · 09/11/2020 21:16

@FrankoBee this is amazing news. Congratulations.

For anyone that wants to join the Facebook group If you PM me I will send you my Facebook details for you to add (I will unfriend you after) then I’ll add you to the group. There are quite a few of us on there now and it’s super private hence the VIP invite that’s required. Xx

MrsH2019 · 09/11/2020 21:17

Or PM @stickytoffeepud1991 lol xx

FrankoBee · 09/11/2020 21:23

I think I’m one of the very few 30 year olds without Facebook!! I’d love to join the group though, I’ll sign up to it once I’m a bit further along, it would be nice to follow other people’s journeys too x

PeanutButterFalcon · 09/11/2020 22:18

PeanutButterFalcon · 09/11/2020 22:20
