Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

Hi ladies I’m 6+1 today (Ivf pregnancy) I’ve had 3 losses in the past all around this stage. At 5+5 I had a scan which showed gestational sac and yolk sac everything looked fine but the doctor did ask if I’d bled as she could see something but thought maybe it was just irritation from the Ivf treatment. Anyway, the next morning I had the faintest ever brown spotting which was over as quick as it started. Then last night it started again and turned to red but no clots and no pain. This morning it’s still there but not enough to fill a pad and then this afternoon I have passed 1 tiny clot (definitely wasn’t baby). I know it’s pointless but yesterday I done a frer and it was a dye stealer and this morning I done a clear blue which has increased to 3+ I did feel symptoms seemed to fade last couple of days but this morning felt a bit nauseous again and boobs slightly sore. I don’t really want to go for another scan yet as I’m worried it may irritate things (I know that’s silly) I am booked in for a 7.5 scan anyway but wondered what your thoughts/experiences were?

Zo35 · 06/11/2020 17:12

@PurBal I think I'm being a bit optimistic in believing I'll actually hear within the 3 working days to be honest. Last time I went to gp for referral rather than using an online self-referral (I either didn't find it or it didn't exist then) and I remember having to chase the midwife team for my first appointment date because I didn't hear anything for ages after the gp appointment

Scottishskifun · 06/11/2020 17:16

@Mctm123 all sounds positive is there a nurse or Dr you can contact just to put your mind to rest? It might just be a quick call type of thing

Mctm123 · 06/11/2020 17:31

I hope so @Scottishskifun! The midwife has called me back I’m booked in for a scan on Tuesday now so need to try an relax till then. There’s not much I can do now x

EatPrayYoga · 06/11/2020 17:43

Thanks inahaze We have been told will be offered extra support including a scan at 8 weeks, regular scans later in pregnancy and an early induction.

At this stage I am most concerned about getting through the first trimester like everyone else.

I'm sorry you're going through this mctm123 I know of people who have had spotting and bleeding and gone on to have healthy babies. I hope the scan goes well and you manage to relax until then

Mctm123 · 06/11/2020 17:54

Thanks @EatPrayYoga fingers crossed for you too xx

Webbalina · 07/11/2020 11:21

Hey ladies! I hope I can join this thread, DH and I found out a few days ago when I tested the day before AF was due, we had been trying for 11 months and we are still in shock but so happy! Due date looks like 15th July 2021...I was due to have my tubes checked and fertility scanning this month so it was ironic I was calling them to say I got a positive test result! The midwife has booked me in for a 6 week scan which I feel can’t come soon enough! I have mild cramping on and off and my boobs feel bigger and pretty sore on and off! I just feel like time is going so slooooooow! This is so new to me, I’m a bit nervous so I love to read about other peoples experiences!

Lollipop87 · 07/11/2020 12:02

Congrats to all the new ladies!! If you’ve messaged me about joining the Facebook group I’ve either messaged you back or added you, sorry had a busy week at work so haven’t been on MN since earlier this week.

@Mctm123 a lady on the fb group had a big bleed and then went for a scan and there was a heartbeat so just goes to show that even with a big bleed everything can still be fine. Crossing my fingers for you 💗

I’m 5+5 and woke up with really sore boobs today, it’s eased slightly now though. My sense of smell has gone crazy, I can smell things I’ve never noticed before! No nausea yet but think it might be on the way because certain things make me feel a bit queasy. Figuring out what I want to eat is also a challenge, so far the best thing has been pizza! And craving pasta for this evening, stodgy food seems to be the winner so trying to add veg to it too! Hope you all have a relaxing weekend xx

Ahhh yes @lollipop87 the joys of the super nose! It's a blessing and a curse! You may find certain smells amazing and others will completely turn your stomach!
My last pregnancy my husband was banned from drinking beer and red wine and the smell of restaurants especially fast food was horrific!

But I then loved fruit to a crazy level!

Mctm123 · 07/11/2020 12:32

Thanks @Lollipop87 fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about 😊

PeanutButterFalcon · 07/11/2020 12:43

Hey everyone can I join?
Just got my BFPs and guessing I'm due around mid July. Completely unexpected this month thought AF was on her way. How is everyone?

@Lollipop87 Thank you. I can't believe it!

Blughbablugh · 07/11/2020 15:24

I seem to be getting every symptom at the moment, even sensitive teeth! I've been feeling a tiny bit nauseous and my appetite has been swinging from not wanting anything to starving. I've also been craving carbs as well! Luckily for me I've gone off sweet things which is good as I normally have a massive sweet tooth! I'm 6 weeks on Monday and waiting for nausea to come on. With my dd i didn't get any morning sickness, only the occasional quesy feeling when faced with something I didn't want. I've got a feeling this time it will be different! Sad

Hopingfor3 · 07/11/2020 15:57

@PeanutButterFalcon those lines have to be like 5+ weeks preg at least they're so dark! Congrats!! Xxx

inahaze · 07/11/2020 16:00

@Mctm123 how are you feeling today?

i'm a bit rubbish at keeping up with mumsnet :-/

welcome new mummies @Webbalina and @PeanutButterFalcon

also 11th month trying here and i think we are still in shock, we had started going down the fertility route as im 38 and didnt want to waste any time; also had 2 miscarriages this year. hoping for an early reassurance scan, waiting to hear back from midwife.

i'm so sick and miserable, im only managing to eat the most basic of foods like new potatoes, super noodles, weetabix, crumpets... and absolutely no hot drinks! whaaaaaaa please say im not the only one?

inahaze · 07/11/2020 16:02

@Blughbablugh same! only want savoury! and the occasional ginger nut. i made banana and blueberry loaf last weekend and my DD and SO have ploughed their way through it, i just cant face it.

EatPrayYoga · 07/11/2020 16:07

I cleaned out my rabbits earlier and felt so lightheaded and a little queasy from the bending down and effor... I got through it but have been resting ever since watching Below Deck!

inahaze we had been trying over a year and I was thinking of going for fertility testing about now so was very pleasantly surprised by a positive test!

The first time I tested I didn't even wait a full minute to read the result!

I also seem to be wanting savoury food and just found myself wanting something spicy

Hope everyone is okay today 💗

PeanutButterFalcon · 07/11/2020 16:23

@Blughbablugh is sensitive teeth a symptom? I even phoned the dentist about mine last week.
I hope the nausea stays away 🤞.

@Hopingfor3 thank you. AF is due tomorrow so about 4 weeks I think unless I ovulated early. I have longer cycles.

@inahaze thank you and congratulations. How many weeks are you?

@EatPrayYoga I love below deck. Wish there was more series available!

Blughbablugh · 07/11/2020 16:29

@PeanutButterFalcon I think pregnancy can definitely affect your teeth as I'm sure the dentist said that when I was pregnant with my dd. Last time I had really dry eyes. I wear contact lenses but through most of my pregnancy and up until after I gave birth I had to wear my glasses as my eyes were just too dry. No sign of that yet. Pregnancy can affect you in do many different ways, I also kept having nose bleeds as well.

Boymama89 · 07/11/2020 16:32

Just back from the gp, I thought I felt something in my boob. They have referred me to the hospital for an ultrasound on my breasts now. Needless to say I'm absolutely up to 90. Praying so hard it's nothing. The fact it's not a solid stand alone lump. There's a few lumps in there so she said to be safe she'd refer me. But still the worry is there. Also can I be added to the Facebook group please?

EatPrayYoga · 07/11/2020 16:35

@PeanutButterFalcon I only started watching Below Deck a few days ago snd just started session 2!

I think almost anything can be attributed to pregnancy. I had problems with my ears the first time and they haven't been right since

I think had nose bleeds last time too @Blughbablugh

@Boymama89 I hope everything is okay

Hopingfor3 · 07/11/2020 16:38

@Boymama89 I've had ultrasounds and biopsies on my boobs in both pregnancies; very early on like this. Was so scary but all fine xx

PeanutButterFalcon · 07/11/2020 17:20

@Boymama89 I hope everything goes ok.

@EatPrayYoga I binged watched it too. It's so addictive!

@Blughbablugh there's so many symptoms they don't tell you about. I've been looking out for the typical nausea etc
