@LittleRa that's my dream birth! Wowwwww!we popped into see my MIL this morning and she just kept saying over and over you shouldn't have an epidural never ever get an epidural and to just not do it- I just stood there like if I can't handle it I'm defo doing it lol 😂 x

I've just watched a virtual tour video of the birth centre attached to my hospital and it looks soooo nice and tranquil, exactly what I want. There's only 4 rooms and only 2 with pools so I know it'll be a matter of luck really if any are free but would be so nice if I manage to get one 💆🏼‍♀️

@Ltay2 I think my birth centre has 7 rooms and 3 have pools so hoping I'm lucky to get one when the time comes ❤️

I got my 12w scan appt thru for 2nd November and they’re letting partners in for the scan xx

EDD is 27/05/2020 so 2 days behind what I thought but expected it to change!

I'll get my 12 week scan date on Tuesday too! Hoping it's as close to 12 weeks as possible as got so long to wait 😭

@littleRa Ive never given birth before but the recovery definitely scares me! I don't deal well with being stuck in a house and Im really active, I dont mind 2 months of no running and lots of resting, but then just want to sort of get back to normal and do the things me and OH love doing 😩 I think this is why Im following this pregnancy fitness plan better than any other plan Ive signed up for! So many horror stories, but again so many 'popped out in 15 mins, that was easy' stories 😣

Ah ladies I'm writing this from my BATH with my muscle relax soak and my bath bomb. I'm even in the darkness playing some music and it's just fucking lush.
My back and hips are aching so much already and so this is just perfect.

DH has the weekend off AT LAST so got some ahem adult time in this morning before the kids got up. Then I made everyone bacon and egg sarnies and coffee. We went for a walk and did loads of cute craft activities and got sausage rolls from greggs 😂

After that I settled down for a good three hours and ploughed through a huge chunk of my assignment for the degree and the kids just read and played games and drew pictures so it was so lovely.

DH watched the tennis napped so he is happy.

Ah fucking hell this is what it's all about. I can even feel the first flutters of the baby wiggling as I lay here.

So is the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, adulthood and life. Today I'm so content whereas yesterday I could have thrown in the towel!

To everyone worrying or wondering about giving birth - just remember that YOU know your body and if you're not happy at any point damn well say so! My first delivery I was so naive I let them crack on even though all my instincts said otherwise. But they were the "professionals". Second time was amazing because I made sure I was in charge of the experience.

@zippityzip so good to hear you're having a fab day 🙌 fully deserved!! 🥰🥰 We went for a walk today and kids everywhere, can't wait till we have a little one jumping in puddles and causing chaos.

@zippityzip I love reading your messages! You should become a pregnancy guru or something ❤️ Glad you had such a lovely day.

@Bl0ndi3 so happy that you had a lovely scan ❤️ craving wise I definitely went off fruit in the first 6-8weeks but love it again now... could always eat a tub of melon and love a large glass of orange juice 🤤 but used to eat so much veg and still not back on that 🙈

@LittleRa I'm with you on the postnatal stuff, labour is relatively short and it'll be fine regardless. I'm definitely more concerned about complications and long term issues after giving birth, especially irreparable damage to my vag 😂

@zippityzip your day yesterday sounds fab, you so deserve some time to be chilled around being able to enjoy your little family x

@SmileyT The class was good! I didn't necessarily learn anything new as everything discussed I'd already read in the book however it was nice to have it explained by a 'real' person and hearing it spoken rather than me reading it. An app called Freya was also mentioned which I've downloaded (£2.99) and just had the nicest bath listening to relaxation music and guided meditations!

five mins after we popped the balloon DH went into our room and started crying! I've only ever seen him cry once before and did not realise how made up he was! 2021 is the year of the boys! X

Congratulations @Mococo1 ❤❤ wee boys are adorable and in my experience easier 🤣🤣 girls are hard work. I have 2 girls and 1 boy already. This one is making me feel ill, causing trouble already so I bet its a girl 🤣🤣 xxx
