I’m very early with this! I found out yesterday I’m pregnant, due 1st June.

Anyone else with me yet? Smile

@SS123456 Don't write it off just yet, like @AIRRRR said it could be implantation bleeding and you're definitely early enough for that to make sense. Cramping is also very normal, I've had cramps on and off throughout as have many people. I'd see how you go and test again in a few days? And re the EPU you may be right, I don't know if they offer scans pre 6 weeks (though not totally sure and it probably differs with each one) though they at least will be able to give you some advice?
I know it's very easy to convince yourself of the worst but just hold on in there x

Humpty11 · 19/10/2020 16:09

@SS123456 sorry to hear about your worries, I agree with others that it could all be normal. With my little boy I had blood when I wiped at about 5 weeks and had cramps all up to this too. I called EPU because I didn’t know what to do and they said that it’s very common in early pregnancy as it could be implantation bleeding. They told me to put a pad on and if there was any that went onto the pad then to call them back and they’d advise what to do. It didn’t get heavier so I didn’t call back but if you’re worried then definitely give them a call. I’m sure they’d rather you not worry unnecessarily. The faint line on the pregnancy test may also be because you’ve been going to the toilet more so had less HCG in the sample.
Fingers crossed everything is okay, thinking of you x

Humpty11 · 19/10/2020 16:14

@Lovethatjourneyforme I think that’s how my hospital works too with scanning but the reassurance will definitely be there, as you’ve said. 🤞🏼

Willowtree12 · 19/10/2020 16:14

@SS123456
Sorry to hear this . I think I'm also having a miscarriage . I woke up this morning with a tiny amount of brown discharge and trou out the day it's got more heavy , not enuff for a pad but still a dark brown colour with a slight dull ache . I'm devestated and can't help but worry . I'm constantly going to the toilet to see if it changes as when I spoke to my dr she said it can be normal and only worry when the discharge becomes red . Now just to sit waiting and trying to relax which is the hardest thing ever . I hope ur ok xx

northerngal20 · 19/10/2020 16:17

hi! can i join? i'm currently 4+6 and it's my first pregnancy after a mmc in august. I've been having some light brown spotting which is making me slightly nervous (it's been going on for a few days, i'm hoping it's just implantation), i called the EPU today and they didn't seem too concerned and booked me in for a reassurance scan at 8 weeks - which feels like a lifetime away!

@Bertyb7 so sorry you're going through that :( and @SS123456 i'm so sorry, i know how stressful that can be. try to stay positive - keep us posted, hopefully it's just implantation or something minor! x

Penny2020 · 19/10/2020 16:26

@SS123456 I’m so sorry to hear this. I’ve had two miscarriage, one at just over 4 weeks and another around 11 weeks. Both times the EPU saw me straight away so I wouldn’t worry about being too early, they are there for exactly this reason.
I don’t want to give you false hope but as everyone has said it’s completely normal to bleed at this stage. I’ve had lots of cramping throughout this pregnancy, some pretty uncomfortable (woke me up a few times) but had a heartbeat on my scan at the weekend. So cramping doesn’t mean the end.
When I had my last MC I knew immediately What was happening as the cramping was way way beyond normal with the pain, it was shocking it was so painful. So it might just be normal cramping.
Ultimately you won’t know until you get checked, so look after yourself and get yourself to an EPU when you can xx

Sitchervice · 19/10/2020 18:06

Just come back from a scan. Everything looks good. They said if you experience pain thats concerning you should go speak to someone just to get is checked out.

AlRRRR · 19/10/2020 18:31

good news on the scan!

thefishthatcouldwish · 19/10/2020 18:44

Feeling very stressed I’m finding the whole pregnancy so far really hard.

I think being an ivf pregnancy and bleeding at 6 weeks had made me paranoid about everything.

I keep having nightmares too. I just want to relax and chill out

swiftt · 19/10/2020 19:11

@Sitchervice amazing news! So pleased for you x

SS123456 · 19/10/2020 19:14

Thank you for the support ladies. I am feeling very sorry for myself tonight but I'll brush myself off and try again 😔

Sitchervice · 19/10/2020 19:17

@thefishthatcouldwish

Have you spoken to anyone about your anxieties? They should supply you with more support.

Hayz2020 · 19/10/2020 19:26

Really happy to hear that for you @Sitchervice that’s great.

Does anyone else get fluctuating symptoms? I’m 7 weeks as of tomorrow and keep suffering with anxiety due to symptoms fluctuating, I had loads of symptoms and today don’t seem to have many at all. It’s making me quite anxious

thefishthatcouldwish · 19/10/2020 19:44

@Sitchervice no I haven’t. When I speak to midwife I might mention my anxiety.

The gp isn’t making appointments at moment.

Scarftown · 19/10/2020 21:06

@ Bertyb7 so sorry that you are going through that.

Pika93 · 19/10/2020 22:17

Hi everyone hope you don't mind me hoping on due early June with baby number 1, had an early scan last week and we saw the heartbeat ❤️ however I have now been bleeding and cramping for the past 6 days, was seen at the EPU and baby seems completely fine but I'm driving myself crazy as the bleeding still hasn't stopped 😔

smarty4 · 19/10/2020 22:24

Thinking of you @SS123456

smarty4 · 19/10/2020 22:26

Also so sorry you are both going through this as well @Bertyb7 and @Willowtree12 Thinking of you both

RainbowReader · 20/10/2020 00:00

I'm so sorry for all those going through losses. Sending you all love and strength Flowers

May I jump on the June 2021 bus? Literally found out a few hours ago, it's my first. Feels so surreal, like I'm dreaming. Will only be about 4 weeks. All the symptoms I thought were just PMS now make sense!
Boobs have been so tender, with stabbing pains too, and I'm cramping, I'm presuming implantation?
Due 26th June!

AlRRRR · 20/10/2020 06:02

@RainbowReader I just found out yday, well confirmed after finally doing a test! It says I’m due 26th June too! :)

SS123456 · 20/10/2020 06:34

As I suspected it is 100% a mc unfortunately. I'm now bleeding the heaviest I have in a long time. It's so gutting after a very long 13 months ttc. I finally thought it was our time 😔

scrambledeggy · 20/10/2020 06:45

@SS123456 Trying for a baby can be so cruel. I'm so sorry this is happening. Hope you have somewhere safe and comfortable to be. Have you made it to the EPU yet?

SS123456 · 20/10/2020 06:54

Thank you @scrambledeggy . I'm mot sure if I am going to bother tbh. I have to cancel my booking appointment anyway so may just try and speak with the midwife briefly when I do that

Happy2be · 20/10/2020 07:07

@ss123456 sorry this is happening to you Flowers

Humpty11 · 20/10/2020 07:10

@SS123456 I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I hope you have people around you to offer support. Take care of yourself x
