Anyone else with me yet? Smile

@Penny2020 so sorry to hear this has happened! on Monday I had so much bright red blood pour out of me and a clot! I was so upset I rang my drs and they got me a scan and I saw the baby and heard the heartbeat! Try and stay positive! But I would ring your dr or EPU they might get you a scan today! Xxx

Penny2020 · 15/10/2020 12:38

@Rory19 thank you for sharing, I really hope it’s the same here. Having now sat here for an hour worrying about it, I think I’m not going to be able to focus on anything else until I’ve had a scan so maybe a quick call to the doctors is a good idea. How are you doing now, feeling ok?

Rory19 · 15/10/2020 12:42

@Penny2020 I think calling the drs is the best thing! Otherwise like you said you won’t be able to focus on anything else! I’m okay! I’m trying to stay positive and I feel so much better after seeing the baby and hearing the heartbeat! I was in so much shock because I just assumed the worst! I had a mmc in April so I just thought it was happening again!
Keep positive! Sending lots of love xx

Bbdm1984 · 15/10/2020 13:37

@penny2020 i am so sorry you are going through this, i too have backed away from here and fb group the past couple of days (in truth i have had to hide the fb group for now) as on tuesday i started with back pain in the small of my back, yesterday the pain was still there and when i got back from walking the dog had really dark brown discharge and boob pain eased massively (had a mc in dec 19 and it started with back pain) i am just waiting for my inevitable now and will ring epu next week to ask for a scan to make sure everything has passed/see whats gone on (i have woke up with such sore boobs today)

Congratulations to all who have had bfp's ❤

MrsBtobe2020 · 15/10/2020 13:49

Hi everyone, just to add to some comments about bleeding... I worked myself up into a right state last week as I had brownish discharge for 4 days. Ended up calling the gp who referred me for a scan at epu on Monday (amazingly quick service) and I was shown a tiny heartbeat ❤️. I'd definitely advise anyone to get a scan at epu if it's causing any distress. It's such an awful feeling 😢 I hope everyone is doing well, I have also gone totally off food. Feel worse in the evening and keep waking up at half 5 with indigestion!

Penny2020 · 15/10/2020 14:00

Thanks everyone for the messages, it’s so great to have everyone sharing their experiences. How anyone did this before the internet is beyond me!!!
@Bbdm1984 so sorry to hear you’re going through this too. Do you have to wait until next week, that’s an awful lot of worry time before getting a final answer - whatever that might be. I’m sending you lots of positive thoughts, and let me know if you want anyone to talk to about it. I also had a miscarriage earlier in the year, so going through similar worry cycles

Bbdm1984 · 15/10/2020 14:12

@penny2020 i have made the choice to wait until next week. My mc in December devastated me i had tiny bit of pink blood when i went to the toilet on the sunday rang epu and got a scan that day, everything was fine and hb was seen... by the wednesday i started bleeding properly like a period, had a scan the following monday (so a week later) and hb was gone. I cant go through that again so am making the decision to wait it out and think the worst. I havent informed doctor, midwife or recurrent miscarriage clinic (who i have been referred to (in april) but still waiting for services to resume to get an appointment) that i was expecting

Penny2020 · 15/10/2020 14:14

Very sensible, though heartbreaking @Bbdm1984. Hoping everything works out this time xx

MRJ86 · 15/10/2020 14:19

Hi all,
I hope it's ok if I join. I juts found out this week that I'm pregnant. I'm really nervous as I had a miscarriage on 18th September (at 7 weeks) - so less than a month ago. I've spoken to the Dr etc., and it's def a new pregnancy and CB is showing 1-2 weeks. I estimate I'm 3w+6 but it's hard as no previous AF to go off or anything like that. I'm really anxious and worried the same thing will happen again. This would be our first child. My boobs hurt and I feel a bit sick and EXHAUSTED.

@Bbdm1984 - I hope you're ok. It's a horrible feeling; but it could be a different outcome. I have everything crossed for you. I had similar experience with my MC ... went to EPU and saw the heartbeat and then everything happened the next day. Sending love and hope X

DollyParton2 · 15/10/2020 14:23

Bbdm1984 really really hoping it turns out ok. Sending strength X

Maryc279 · 15/10/2020 14:43

Hi everyone! I just about squeeze into this group with June 26th DD. This is my 1st and I've just turned 36. All feels very surreal!

ZAVMLB · 15/10/2020 16:34

Cannot believe how common MC is. I had one in May and was first pregnancy so such a shock at how common because not many people talk about it. Really lovely to hear everyone's advice and support. Congratulations to everyone and positive vibes xx

Bbdm1984 · 15/10/2020 19:26

Thank you everyone for your kind words @Penny2020 how are you doing? Did you get in touch with the dr? X

Penny2020 · 15/10/2020 19:33

I’ve decided to wait it out a couple of days, after hearing your story I thought best to wait a little while, there’s nothing anyone can do either way at this stage anyway. I’ve a scan already booked for Sunday so will find out more then. I had a little more bleeding after lunch but only light. Will try and get to bed early tonight and fingers crossed it was a false alarm.

Penny2020 · 15/10/2020 19:37

@ZAVMLB I think it’s such a pity there is so much ‘shame’ associated with miscarriage, so nobody speaks about it and then you assume all positive pregnancy tests result in live births - when actually it’s 1/4 will end in miscarriage. So many women have to find it out the hard way. I’ve made a promise to myself that I’m going to talk openly about it to my child-free girlfriends so they are more aware and prepared. There’s no shame in it, it’s totally natural and women need to be able to talk about it to help each other heal.
Wow, need to get off my soap box! I’m obviously feeling a bit emotional today, please forgive my ranting.

bez91 · 15/10/2020 19:40

Hi all, congratulations to all of you. Hope it's ok for me to join, EDD 18th June with baby #2. Had a CP last month so feeling so much more anxious than I ever did with DD1.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's journeys x

Bbdm1984 · 15/10/2020 20:04

@penny2020 im really sorry if what i went though has put you off getting in touch with the dr/epu that really wasnt my intention, i think you are right though at these early stages what will be will be.... i am always here if you need to talk

Penny2020 · 15/10/2020 20:06

Not at all, it was exact the advice I needed, thank you Smile

Butterfly134 · 15/10/2020 20:26

Hello all, currently 5+6 weeks and EDD of 11th June. Has anyone had many symptoms. I’ve been feeling ok apart from the odd twinge, tender boobs and tiredness. I’m feeling really anxious as I’m not feeling too different.

Scarftown · 15/10/2020 21:26

I don’t have many symptoms either. I was peeing tons last week but it’s calmed down. Boobs a little tender but that’s it. I think I am 5 +3

Sitchervice · 15/10/2020 21:38

@Butterfly134 your due date is same as mine!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Yeah I just get mind cramping. Boobs are heavier. A little sick but mostly not waning food and having heart burn and feeling tired. I'm very anxious as this is my first baby. Some people don't get any symptoms though. Hence why some women can have suprise babies.

Kamacs12 · 16/10/2020 01:46

Thank you for the posts on bleeding. I've had brown bleeding now for over 24hr and really blaming myself...

Spoke to midwife on the phone and she said that brown blood is more often than not perfectly okay as it means it's old blood. She said that even at this stage (coming up to 6 weeks) it can be an implantation bleed, and it can sometimes just take this long to come out.

It just feels like I'm playing the world longest, most drawn out board game, where despite the odds being in my favour, there is still a 20% chance I'll lose. I don't want to get too attached in case I lose the baby, which is causing me so much stress. I don't feel like I can enjoy this at all.

I really hope everyone else who has had a bleed is doing okay x

Lolliloo · 16/10/2020 08:11

Hi everyone!
Congrats to you all
Hoping I can join, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant this morning and if I’ve worked it out right I’m due 26th June
This is my first pregnancy, feeling very overwhelmed right now and also ridiculously excited!

swiftt · 16/10/2020 08:44

Anyone having weird/vivid dreams? I’m 6+4. Past 2 nights in a row I’ve slept really well, proper deep sleeps, but I’ve had the most vivid and horrible dreams where I’ve miscarried both nights. I wake up with an absolute sinking feeling, then remember that it was a dream.

GanderousGoose · 16/10/2020 09:03

@Kamacs12 I could have written that! Feel exactly the same.
@swiftt I've had two dreams exactly as you describe - really vivid miscarriage dreams.
I had a tiny bit of brown streaked CM yesterday after a bit of a strained BM (sorry TMI) but not had anything either immediately after or since so hoping it's nothing to worry about. I'm 5+4, age 40 and painfully aware of the risks.
