Anyone else with me yet? Smile

@Jen8888 was it just when you wiped on in your underwear also ?
I’m not sure how much is classed as spotting but when you google it and look at some of the photos , they do look like there’s quite a lot on.
Fingers crossed everything is ok Flowersx

Jen8888 · 11/10/2020 09:18

Just when I wiped, I'm praying everything is ok.

It's the not knowing xx

Finallybfp · 11/10/2020 09:23

This sounds positive as it does say light spotting is where you don’t need a pad. If it was only when you wiped this sounds good . You might like I did want to take a pregnancy test just to reassure yourself x

Lovethatjourneyforme · 11/10/2020 09:26

@Jen8888 it sounds like spotting, which can be nothing to worry about just very scary. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

scrambledeggy · 11/10/2020 09:28

@Jen8888 Sorry to hear you've had such a scare. I am 6 weeks, and this week just gone I suddenly had enough red blood to fill a pad. Having only had one pregnancy before that ended in an earlier MC, I thought the worst.

I called 111 and was seen by the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit the next morning. Lo and behold the little blob was completely fine and even had a good heart beat!

I know this is no guarantee that things will continue to be okay for me, but just wanted to reassure you that I had a lot more bleeding than you and I'm still as pregnant as ever!

Jen8888 · 11/10/2020 09:56

Thank you everyone Thanks

If there's anymore today I'll call the EPU xx

Iamgrumpyswife · 11/10/2020 09:56

Hello all,
Congratulations to all those expecting in June.
Did my test on Thursday with CBD I'm 2-3 weeks! Yay! I'm due 14th June 21, but the last couple of days I've been getting some sharp pains in my lower abdomen. Please tell me this is normal I'm freaking out.
I'll be calling my GP tomorrow morning.

Kjadem · 11/10/2020 09:56

@angelinaxoxo I’ve been getting cramping from pretty much the day I found out. I’m 6+5 today and still get cramping, like period pains, and sharp pains when I sit up/roll over. I spoke to my friend who is pregnant and has got a 1 year old and she said its totally normal. I’m starting to welcome them now as it gives me a bit of reassurance things are still working!

Kamacs12 · 11/10/2020 10:04

@Iamgrumpyswife welcome to the 14th June club! 😃

Kamacs12 · 11/10/2020 10:09

@bigblueboots congratulations! I can't stop reading either. My hours on my phone are up an average of 3 hours a day this week simply because I've just been trying to read so much 🙈 I bought Clemmie Hoopers' book yesterday and I'm really enjoying reading that.

curiouscat1987 · 11/10/2020 10:49

@bestsquirrelinthewholehole

Can I join please. I have been reading the thread, but since I have no one in RL whom I can share my worries with I think I need this outlet. Surprise baby no 4!!!! Due 15th June. But I feel really anxious approx 4 weeks no nausea yet, symptoms include lower tummy and back pain/twinges. Slight headache. Moodswings. Sore boobs. The occasional food aversion, extreme sense of smell. But other than that I really don't feel "pregnant" What really worries me though is I have been drinking peppermint tea, max two cups a day. Then suddenly it dawned on me, "can I drink peppermint tea?? “ so I checked and it said to avoid in early pregnancy so I am freaking out!! And on top of that I have been taking cod liver oil tabs for my joints and I read it contains too much vitamin A and to avoid as dangerous. I am so worried I have destroyed all chances of having a healthy pregnancy /baby. 😭
I also researched peppermint tea and read that its fine (out of all the herbal teas probably lowest risk). Stuff said dont drink like 4 cups in a day just in case as its not been studied enough to be absolutely without a doubt safe, but that theres no reason to think its harmful. Also the cod liver oil is fine if it doesnt have added vit a (not all of them do,mine is pure fish oil with nothkng added). If yours has added vit a then just get one without it? I wouldnt worry, the advice changes so frequently yet clearly women have been having successful pregnancies whilst following different advice for hundreds of years :)
Iamgrumpyswife · 11/10/2020 10:54

Thank you. Hope your pregnancy is going smoother then mine. 😊

Iamgrumpyswife · 11/10/2020 10:56

@angelinaxoxo thank you for reassuring me. I've been reading about it non-stop and was driving myself insane. I was praying that as in I'm 35 it's not an ectopic pregnancy... Of course I'll find out soon, but at least is sound normal.

Amy8765 · 11/10/2020 10:57

Hi everyone! We found out yesterday that we’re expecting after two years of trying! 🥰 according to googling due dates I think I’m due 16th June which is a couple of days near my birthday, too! Could I be added to the Facebook group, please? So glad I found you all, I’ve had abdominal twinges which feels like stretching, constipation and my boobs feel like they’re going to explode!

Starrr123 · 11/10/2020 11:01

Congratulations to everyone :) i hope its ok to join :)
I am due june 13th :) i am just wondering has anyone of you guys experienced awful headaches/migraines? Its making me feel so ill and all i am doing is staying in bed. Xx

thefishthatcouldwish · 11/10/2020 13:43

Hi all

Can I tentatively put my foot in the door?

After 5 years and an IVF cycle I have had my BFP.

I am currently around 6 weeks and 4 days and due around June 1st.

I have had an early scan ( which I was due to have next week) due to some spotting which turned into bleeding.

Got to see my little tadpole and a beautiful heartbeat flickering away.

I'm a bit scared to actually ring the midwife service and arrange my booking in.

I'd love to just relax but I feel on edge so much.

Scarftown · 11/10/2020 14:04

Congratulations. You must be so Anxious. No advice as o know saying relax is easier said than fine but chat away.

DollyParton2 · 11/10/2020 14:21

If it gives you any reassurance with my DD I had spotting, then an entire loo full of red blood with cramping for over a week between 4-6 weeks. Was completely convinced I was loosing her. Was constantly in the EPU untill they kindly told me to chill and wait it out. Was completely fine in the end x

angelinaxoxo · 11/10/2020 14:38

@Kjadem yes! these have been scaring me about sm eptoic and since my hcg apparently was normal but yes I'm gonna welcome the cramps and hope this means my baby implants in the right place !

Swimgirl83 · 11/10/2020 14:40

To anyone spotting etc, just to add my story. With Dd I bleed/spotted throughout my entire pregnancy. At one point when I spoke to a midwife they did say that anything less than a teaspoon they're not normally worried about and its a lot more common than people realise

U actually had a water infection that wasn't picked up until 28 weeks, a set of anti bionics later and it pretty much stopped.

I know it doesn't help the worrying and I am definitely going to the toilet more to check at the moment but just wanted to share!

Greymalkin12 · 11/10/2020 17:42

Please could I join the club (got the BFP on Friday!)? I have a daughter who is two at the moment. I'd forgotten how hard the first few weeks are in terms of not telling people and waiting for that first scan, would be lovely to be in a group with people going through the same xx

Finallybfp · 11/10/2020 18:33

Welcome @Greymalkin12 , how many weeks do you think you are ?

Greymalkin12 · 11/10/2020 20:08

Thanks @finallybfp, I think around 4 weeks although hard to tell as my cycle is irregular!

Finallybfp · 11/10/2020 20:20

Congratulations Smile x

MumToBeMaz · 11/10/2020 20:49

I'm glad i'm not the only one feeling bloated. I feel like I look pregnant and I'm only 5 weeks in... hahaha
