I’m very early with this! I found out yesterday I’m pregnant, due 1st June.

Anyone else with me yet?

@Finallybfp I’m terrified every time I wipe! Have nightmares about bleeding most nights its horrible.. glad you haven’t experienced any more. Yes we might tell a couple of people after our 7 week scan but I’m tempted to just wait until 12 weeks just to be certain its all ok! I’ve told a few people at work who I’m close to just in case there are certain patients I can’t look after, they can cover for me!

Yeah I’m terrified every time I wipe also , it literally was only when I wiped the once I didn’t get any in my knickers but it was scary just seeing it. Me & my partner arnt sure whether to tell our parents after our 8 week early scan or whether to wait until 12 week scan. We are gunna decide after the scan I think depending on how the scan goes . I work in a nursery but not going to tell my manger or anyone from work until I’ve had my 12 week scan .
I just want this pregnancy so much I don’t want to chance anything happening and I’ve already told people.

@Finallybfp I think I’m just over 6 weeks, due around 1st June but my cycle was so much longer than normal last month so not sure if I’m out on dates.
I’ve managed to see a few reviews and people seem to say there is a huge jump in what you can see on a scan between 6 weeks and 8 weeks. That at 6 weeks it’s just a dot and maybe a heartbeat but sounds like at 8 weeks you can see and hear a heart beating, and it starts to resemble a little more like a baby (well, a scan of a baby which seems a bit hit or miss).
But I’m definitely going to do one, I’m all over the place and I think it would help with my anxiety, even if only for a few hours!

Ah yeah I think it’ll be worth it I don’t think I could wait till 12 weeks and I think i would be gutted if my 12 week scan got delayed and had to wait longer then 12 weeks for it . At the viability scan do they print a scan photo for you ? . X

I’ve booked my early scan for Sunday 25th October , the dates and times for when I’m around 8 weeks we’re filling up quite fast . I’ll be 8 weeks 3 days on the date of my scan. Is this just a ultrasound scan ? As I’ve read If your appointment is before 10 weeks an internal scan may be needed . Has anyone had experience of one of these ?

This will be our second child, third pregnancy - the first we found out was a blighted ovum at the scan so feeling very nervous.

Has anyone scheduled their booking in appointment?
I rang to book and was told to drop into the GP and pick up a "pregnancy pack"

@Jen8888 I rang to confirm my pregnancy at 4 weeks 2 days and was told to wait and ring back up when I was 6 weeks. I was 6 weeks yesterday so still needing to ring back up to get the ball rolling . With my shifts at work I’m struggling to get through to them . Going to try and ring them again today . How many weeks will you be in your scan ?

Hi all! I'm due June 12th

This is my second pregnancy, 1st one ended at 11 weeks in July. Super anxious to just make it to the 2nd trimester this time around! Totally get the wipe fear, that's me every single time.

@Lovethatjourneyforme - did you find out the cause of your loss ?
It’s such a difficult time waiting to check that very thing is ok with pregnancy . I feel I will still worry and be anxious until the day the baby is born tbh .

@Finallybfp I was also 6 weeks yesterday
I had an internal scan last Friday as part of my initial pregnancy consultation (don't know if that's the rule in my healthcare system or if it was simply done because I had experienced some spotting). All you could see was amniotic and yolk sac. At least they were there and in the right spot. I have another appointment today to discuss bloodwork, maybe I'll get another internal scan (still spotting).

Wow. I need to come on more frequently. So many new post and people since I last read. My one allowed coffee and a catch up is the plan for this morning and then I suppose that’s it. Seems to be just a waiting game for appointments. I should look into private scans if as you say they are all booking up.

So my bbt has dropped this morning, I'm slightly worried, it's dropped by 0.5!!

@HollyGoli how did you find the internal scan was it ok ? What made you get a scan at 5 weeks ?

@Scarftown - I live in Northumberland and the window to the womb closest to me only had 4 appointments left for the weekend when I’ll be 8 weeks so I’ve booked up. I’m feeling very anxious as I just want to know everything is ok. It’s hard only me and my partner knowing the news. I want to shout it from the roof tops but want to make sure it’s safe to do so first.

@HollyGoli - sorry just re read your post and seen you’ve been spotting that’s why you had a internal scan . I spotted a little when I was 5 weeks 6 days but it was only when I wiped in the morning then I’ve had no more sinse.

@Finallybfp No I didn't, I wasn't scanned until it was all over and I didn't think they really look into it until you've had your third. And thank you, keeping all fingers crossed too but also trying not to get to emotionally invested yet.

There's a lot more people having early scans than I expected. I was tempted but tbh I'll be anxious until the dating scan either way so I don't think I'm going to.

How's everyone doing symptom wise?

I had never considered an early scan. The only reason I am starting to think about it is because my DP can’t come to any of my appointments and he seemed really disappointed. I’m not anxious yet (still doesn’t feel real) but I think it might make me more anxious to have one in a weird way.

So glad I found this thread! I found out a week ago I am pregnant! Based on calculations should be due start of June 2021!

I have had cramps and twinges (which like everyone has said makes me feel so nervous!) but having read everyone else's messages I've realised it is common. Why isn't it spoken about more as women really worry don't they and you just assume the worst?! Completely exhausted, tender breasts and my nipples wow they are sore! Also.. Constipated?! But may be due to me eating more bread and things this past week haha. Sending positive vibes to everyone.

First pregnancy and just looking for buddies to bumble along with and help each other really! Lots of love xxx
