I’m very early with this! I found out yesterday I’m pregnant, due 1st June.

Anyone else with me yet? Smile

@Allsizes8to14 my last period was 4th sept but I ovulated late, so also on 21st sept. I'm going to do a digital probably next Monday - hoping that it's jumped up to '2-3 weeks' Grin
It's exciting finding some ladies on exactly the same dates!

I just had a massive meal out tonight to try and enjoy my food before I go right off it haha

proteacat · 07/10/2020 21:23

Hi everyone! Would like to join too please? Various calculators say I'm due between 12-18 June. Haven't actually got my head around it yet as my daughter is only 16 months so I'm feeling a touch overwhelmed! Excited.. but terrified!

LemonRizzle · 07/10/2020 21:36

Hi guys, congratulations to you all, I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, due 4th June by LMP calculations but 31st May if going 38 weeks from ovulation. I don't think I'm going to offer that information up so baby has a few extra days leeway to be late without the pressure! I guess I'm looking for reassurance but does anyone else have intermittent period pains? They're making me miserable as I'm terrified to find blood everytime I go for a wee! Only mild but still a worry. This is my first ever pregnancy so no idea what to expect and I've become an obsessive Googler!
@Coffee4me had my flu jab today, I'm usually the reluctant one to have it (get it every year through work) so they must be suspicious that I've been pushing them for it this year! Arm aches a bit

PabsyPops · 07/10/2020 21:53

@LemonRizzle I am the same with the occasional cramping and I believe it's nothing to worry about! I'm 6+1 today so we are similar! I have my midwife booking appointment tomorrow and weighing up having an early reassurance scan at 8 weeks xx

Scarftown · 07/10/2020 21:58

Hi all. Can I join? Positive test today, not sure it’s sunk in yet. Will be my first. No symptoms and now doing tons of googling and working out exactly I’m meant to do next. NHSs calculator says due 14th

squaresandsquares · 07/10/2020 22:13

I'm only 4 weeks, due 16th june. Terrible cramps, not sure what can be done. This is my 3rd

Allsizes8to14 · 07/10/2020 22:14

Hi everyone new 👋🏻
@Scarftown there are a few of us due on the 14th in this group already! I rang my GP as am on some meds I need to wean off now I’m pregnant, they gave me a link for an online midwife booking form for my area which I submitted then someone rang me a few hrs later with first appt date. That’s all I’ve done 🤷🏼‍♀️

Scarftown · 07/10/2020 22:50

Thanks Allsizes8to14 I have been googling and found a form for self referral to my local maternity unit so adding that on to the to do list tomorrow. Trying to only google positive things at the moment but also not to get too excited as long time to go yet.

Kamacs12 · 08/10/2020 06:12

Just found out I'm pregnant with a due date of 14/06/21! Very much in disbelief. Convincing myself not to get too attached as I've read so many stories about chemical pregnancies and miscarriages and about how common they are...

But a small part of me is very excited. Not planned, got married this month so had non-hormonal coil removed so it wasn't a big deal when we started trying for children.

I do feel like I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing though 🙈 when do you contact a doctor etc?

Kamacs12 · 08/10/2020 06:28

Reading back all the comments above have made me feel so much better. Glad to know I'm not the only person feeling anxious!

Also off to google my doctors to find out if I can self-refer. I think this thread will be super useful so thanks in advance! 😊

Congratulations everyone 😊 x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 08/10/2020 07:07

Yeah @LemonRizzle I've had exactly the same crampiness at weeks 4 then 6 (im due same date as you)

@Kamacs12 I've felt anxious literally the whole time so far! Dont think I will have a private scan so long still to wait

Happy2be · 08/10/2020 07:33

Congratulations @Kamacs12 think there's a few girls due the 14th too. Im the 15th 🙈
Its an anxious time but im sure you will get a lot of support from the group Smile

Scarftown · 08/10/2020 07:48

Yeah there is a few of us pencilled in for the 14th. I’m in the camp of it doesn’t feel real yet. Glad I don’t have too many symptoms as going to my mums tomorrow and don’t want to say anything yet but She has a 6th sense so will probably see it on my face. Read up this morning and had to tell DP that he actually wouldn’t be able to come to the scan/appointments etc and he seemed really disappointed so now wondering if an early scan would be a good idea as he seems to be able to go if we have a private one. But then what if that’s bad news or you can’t see anything. Need to limit the Googling, is very distracting. Glad I’m WFH tho lol

Kamacs12 · 08/10/2020 08:14

@Scarftown - we also just found this out. DH has said he wants a private scan so we can both see "it" (need to think of a better name....) together. I think it would be better to get bad news together rather than alone. We're thinking we'll go for one about 8/9 weeks.

@Happy2be thank you! And to you! 😁 June is a great month to have a birthday in, my birthday is June 3rd, weather is usually good and exams are usually just ending so everyone's on a high when you're at school.

@TheDaydreamBelievers sorry to hear you're also anxious but it's definitely nice to know I'm not alone! It does feel like such a long wait, even to the 8 week booking in appointment.

Happy2be · 08/10/2020 08:20

Thats a shame that some trusts are not allowing partners in. Our trust is just now. Im hoping that stays the same or we will be booking in for a private one before the 12 week scan so we can both see the baby together first.

vixarooni · 08/10/2020 08:45

I'm going to get a private scan around the 12+ mark. I'd rather wait for the NHS one then take hubby along to the private one. It's a double bummer because you can't record the scan at the time either so they really miss out.

Newmother321 · 08/10/2020 08:48

Have any of you ladies thought about the flu jab? I'm thinking of phoning the GP today and trying to get booked in for one. I get offered them free at work however not for pregnant women!

Rebe22a · 08/10/2020 08:59

Hey, joining in! Took a test yesterday and due with my 2nd around 18th June. Didn't expect it this month so excited but it's not really sunk in yet! My wee girl is 17 months, excited to have them quite close in age. Someone above mentioned having a Facebook group, I am in one from last time and it has been the best thing, we still all chat every day x

Happy2be · 08/10/2020 09:29

@Rebe22a congratulations! oh that was me with facebook. Im the same, in one from mumsnet with my wee girl and absolutely love the group and getting to know everyone better. So cute seeing all the babies and stages together easier too.

MsJ9 · 08/10/2020 09:29

I've tried getting hold of midwife for booking in appointment but my surgery doesn't have one so they gave me the community midwives number but you can only call between 8 & 9am! And I forgot this morning as I'm working from home and had a new vacuum cleaner delivered (very exciting 🤣)
I just want to get booked in so I can get things moving!

Rory19 · 08/10/2020 09:31

I think we are going to get a private scan maybe at 7 or 8 weeks! I’m going to try and hold out for 8 weeks but the wait feels so long! And because of my MMC in April I’m just feeling super anxious! Xx

Rebe22a · 08/10/2020 09:34

Thanks @Happy2be Smile @Newmother321 I'm booked in for a private flu jab at Boots tomorrow and hoping they are happy to do it even though I'll be entitled to NHS now. I can claim back the cost through work anyway.

Newmother321 · 08/10/2020 09:50

I called the GP this morning and have made an appointment with the midwife on 06Nov they have told me to wait and speak with her r.e getting the flu jab. So will wait and see what her advise is :)

Penny2020 · 08/10/2020 09:59

Hi everyone,
So happy to find this thread, I’ve just been catching up and lovely to hear everyone’s excitement.
I’m due 1st June, so just over 6 weeks now. Very anxious after a miscarriage at 11 weeks earlier in the year. Not many symptoms, apart from awful constipation (oh the glamour!!!)
My main worry is that I don’t feel tired at all. Last time I was beyond exhausted but this time round I’ve been staying up late and not felt it at all. Paranoia is setting in. Anyone else still full of beans?

Kamacs12 · 08/10/2020 10:25

@Penny2020 yes, I am. My main symptom is constant nausea. Not tired at all. I wouldn't worry about not being tired, every pregnancy is different 😊
