Gosh we are going through this thread so quickly! I'm going to miss it when all the babies arrive.

Oh v exciting!! @bluemoon2468 was it just the show or your waters? Bloody? I've just had that trickle and slight cramp, nothing more, due on Mon. I do feel niggly down there, a bit like you get with UTI so it's either that or he's lowered 🤞xx

@Treacle81 it was a load of pinky/orange bloody mucus all down my legs and all over my pyjama bottoms, then loads more when I wiped. But it was all very thick and mucus like, not watery at all, so think it was just my bloody show, no waters. Now just bits of mucus when I wipe but I think most of it has come out. Sorry for the TMI obviously haha.

@bluemoon2468 oh wow how exciting!! I thought it had all gone a bit quiet the last few days on the baby/ symptom spotting front so I'm ready for another baby!

I'm only 39 weeks on Monday so still feel like I have a lifetime to go. Felt very heavy down there this morning but nothing else.

@bluemoon2468 I've got my fingers crossed this is the start of things for you. You could always call and check if you arent sure but I would think it it's not watery as you say it's the mucus plug.

I've had quite a lot of cramps and pressure, its very uncomfortable today when I walk, worse than previous days. Now I'm just dreading it staying like this for weeks yet! The ball is amazing though, I feel a lot more comfortable on there than anywhere else.

Wow v exciting @bluemoon2468 yes @LexiM I feel the same with different geacy feeling. I'm constantly having to wipe as wet and it's clear but also had total bowel clear out twice today and I am ravenous! xx

I'm feeling very down and fed up today. I'm convinced something is wrong but there's no real reason to think that and the stress is getting to me a bit. I feel like it's facing the wrong way and will never come out. Earlier, I felt a huge hard bump on the left side and am now worried in case baby has gone transverse.

@FourPlasticRings aww sorry to hear you are feeling this way, I too am worried about his position as know he was back to back but due to this damn labrinthitis can't sit up very often and certainly can't bounce on ball to encourage him to move. I also have the hard lump to the left but heard that's his bum, try not to worry, can't see baby being transverse this late on 💞 get on all 4s tho, sit in yoga pose and on a chair backwards. I can't do any of that so instead I'm on floor hugging ball and rocking back and forth hoping that's enough. Big hugs 😘❤️xx

@Treacle81 that pedi sounds frustrating! At least you got a nice foot massage out of it hopefully?!

@FourPlasticRings aw I know how you feel, I convinced myself earlier this week that I needed an induction ASAP because something was going to go wrong. I think it's easy to wind ourselves up at the minute, being so close to the finish line. And like treacle said, it'll just be his bum. Mine has been in the same head down position since 28 weeks and her bum has been pretty firmly planted in my right side the entire time x

@LexiM agree the ball is great, although I find it tiring even bouncing! Sounds like your body is getting ready for sure!

@FourPlasticRings hope you feel better - I often have really hard lump on my right hand side, the mw said it was the baby’s bum once. Try not to stress out.

We went for a massive walk this morning and it was so tough on the way back. I’m absolutely shattered now. Flopped out on the sofa for the foreseeable future. 1 week til due date for me.

@FourPlasticRings aw try not to worry. I've been convinced the big hard lump on my right hand side was her bum, then I got convinced it's actually her head and she's moved round anyway when I went for midwife appt earlier on this week and then my scan they both said the big hard lump is actually her feet! 😂 so I was totally wrong! They said her head is firmly down and engaged.

We finally finished our nursery today so I'm really pleased about that. I have a single bed in there because I'll be sleeping in her room with her for 6-12 months to avoid having to transition her to her room when she's old enough.

@bluemoon2468 @Treacle81 oooh sounds like it's starting for both of you 😬.

@FourPlasticRings I hope you're ok, it's so easy to worry now as we are all so close and we just want to meet them. I didn't think I would feel this inpatient towards the end but I am and I'm thinking all kinds too.

4 days to go to EDD and still no signs of baby boy yet.

Been having contractions since my show this morning. About 10 mins apart now and getting more intense. Really hoping this is it!

@FourPlasticRings I wonder if you can request another scan for reassurance? I've been having a hard lump on my right side for ages, on the scan turns out this is his feet/knees. My due date is today, no sign of labour yet. I think they'll come out when they are ready. Not long now one way or another!

Bathroom is making progress 🥳 I painted the doorframe and DH has spent 5 hours cutting and shaping wood.

Hi all! Sorry to have been absent for the last few days...
I was induced Thursday evening, started contractions Friday evening although I had to o have the second pessary. This morning pains got worse but I couldn't feel baby moving so they put me on a monitor and quickly established that baby wasn't happy. This was at 10am. Consult dug around for my cervix and decided that they could break my waters there and then but baby didb show any signs of recovery so I went in for an emergency c section. Baby boy (no name yet but we think Rufus!) was born at 11 36 8lbs 2!
Has successfully latched on for one feed so hoping to build on that over night.

My contractions, or whatever I was having Thursday night that felt like them stopped yesterday and didn't start again, so frustrating! I am now 40+2 so hoping it will re start soon. I really thought that was it and my baby would be here by now!

@CharlieBalf congratulations he is gorgeous. I am sure you will come to a name very soon, Rufus is lovely if you go for that. Hope you are recovering ok.
