How old is bubs now? I've read they're supposed to have 60-90ml feeds in the first month, moving to 120ml by the time they're one month old. Unfortunately, a lot of health visitors seem to espouse information that's either out of date or wrong.

Nobody has really contacted me asking if baby is here etc. which I'm glad about. To be honest generally because of Covid I haven't seen many people so although they are aware I'm having a baby, I've dodged the type of comments people usually complain about. With my immediate family we have bets on date baby will be born. Most are early or around due date, then theres my mum choosing the last date for induction haha. She said she is trying to be patient, I can tell she is really excited as she isnt sleeping well at the moment bless her!

@FourPlasticRings he's 9 days old today. That's why I got so upset. It made me feel so inadequate. He's been having 90mls today. He had his second bath today. Got the hang of it now!

@HerondaleDucks definitely ignore that. Bea is 11 days old and she has between 50 and 90 generally. The odd 100ml bottle here and there. The hv and midwife have both been fine with it!

Congrats @justanothermamma !! Beautiful Esther! Sounds like you smashed the birth too. It seems quite random how long they keep you in after. The whole birth thing is just the most unpredictable event ever it’s sooo bizarre.

People are doing the messages already but I am trying to keep my cool. I’m a week away from due date anyway!

Been out to the post office (and Starbucks!) in the rain this morning and planning on chilling out the rest of the day in front of Netflix - perfect weather for it.

Well it's official, every single person in my NCT group has had their baby except me - even those with due dates after mine. Embracing my new life as an eternal incubator.

Things are slow here, occasional cramps but not regular or powerful like they were last night. I am wondering if it may start up again tonight but would rather labour during the day. This is so frustrating

@blankiesandunicorns I'm so with you hadn't expected to go overdue and every cramp I feel in the evening/night seems to disappear to minor niggles throughout the day 🤦🏼‍♀️ so jealous of everyone that had due dates after and already had there baby lol x

I've not even been getting cramps really, just aching bump and back. I think the back is from too much walking yesterday though. Very occasionally I get a twinge but that's it. I've been waiting all day for a phone call from the hospital about another growth scan and it's not happened... Suppose I'll have to wait until Monday now. It's frustrating and I'm bored of waiting for things to happen, I love knowing when things are happening and not being able to control when baby arrives is driving me insane.
Has anyone got plans for the weekend? I've got a zoom catch up arranged with a couple of uni mates I've not spoken to in ages, which will break up the constant overanalyzing every wiggle/ nudge which I'll be doing the rest of the weekend!

Re: clary sage I sniffed it like mad and put it in my humidifier but didn’t seem to work. Raspberry tablets definitely did nothing as my cervix was hard and unripe as anything 😹

@booandbumpp I managed to express (only about 30mls) and gave that to Holly today. It was only a small amount but I felt so proud that I was actually providing something!

@BntTowers no plans this weekend except resting as much as possible while DH looks after the toddler. I've got a bet on with DF that the baby won't arrive until after Monday. It's win-win. If it arrives before Monday I will no longer be pregnant and thus won't care about the chocolate bar. If it arrives after Monday, at least I get a consolation chocolate bar!

@BntTowers I seem to have stopped really making plans but actually I think that's bad because I could be waiting weeks for all I know. DH is having a long waited for haircut today, I kept telling baby he had to wait for this day as he didnt want to meet his Daddy with his awful hair 😂 so mean!

Had another awful night sleep (sorry same old boring stuff!) I've had a lot of cramps but once again who knows if it means a thing or my body is preparing for weeks time.

Last night my brother and his gf gave us a massive box of goodies for the baby, they were so generous and it included a giant elephant cuddly...of course uncle and auntie have to get that!
We also stopped at my MILs and took away some of the frozen meals she has made us, we have a whole freezer drawer and she said theres at least double that again still in her freezer so we are going to be well cared for in terms if post birth meals!

I'm also feeling nothing. I thought something might be happening last night as felt a bit crampy and suddenly heavier, but it went away. Due date was yesterday.

Plans for the weekend include getting the toilet cabinet built and painted so the loo can get plumbed in and sending out enquiries to try to get a kitchen design, we need to do whole thing online so we can have it asap. Hoping baby will patiently stay put a few more days! Covid related insanity 🙄

@otterbaby 'chat with complete strangers about fanny daggers and discharge' 😂🤣 that made me laugh so hard! @AutumnBabyWinterMummy agree this group has been fab, really supportive and brilliant to be able to chat and share with other new mamas going through the same stages. You are all my only pregnancy support group, I don't know anyone else in real life currently pregnant x

Morning girls! @otterbaby that comment was hilarious 🤣. I'm wondering if any of these babies who are struggling to latch have tongue tie? hearing its very common. One of the FB mums friends specialises 8n cutting them and asked her to check her newborn and yea he has it, getting sorted next Fri, so maybe worth a check guys. I've had trickling liquid down legs three times during night when going to toilet and afterwards and slight cramp to left side. It only seems to happen when I go to the toilet ut it doesn't smell of urine so what the hell is it. Know not waters as mw checked and said no a few days ago its the same thing. Must be a watery discharge. Weird! Just keeps making me think it's waters but hearing it would be continuous so guess not. Put a other pad on and just see how it goes. We'll that 'pamper' sesh ended up being a nightmare, had to go back as big toes smudged and it was on my skin, like a 5 year old had painted them.She took it all off then redone it only for it to smudge again, £25 so won't be back there! Just glad it was only feet I went for in the end. Could have done better job myself 🙈 big toes are now slightly different colour due to be having to fix it. Getting a curry tonight and planning in some sex 😱 been like 3 months!! Actually feel nervous lol xx

It's my due date! And right on time had my 'show' this morning! Felt crampy all night then woke up this morning and stood up and it all just fell out of me (sorry TMI I know!) Couldn't believe how much! For some reason was just expecting a bit when I wiped...

Really hoping things might be happening soon! I know i share my due date with some of you but can't remember who?
