@Mustbemad82 yep! I'm having to wear pants liners everyday! I'm 12weeks now and thought it would stop by now but guess not 😞

mrsmummy1111 · 18/09/2020 07:41

@Mustbemad82 Constant! And really thick too (sorry)

Mustbemad82 · 18/09/2020 07:46

I thought it was just me ! I’ve started to wear pads too but I feel like an old lady- three steps and a leak, four more steps and a little leak!
Thought I would have 20 of years before I had this to deal with !

Mustbemad82 · 18/09/2020 07:54

And the weeing
Every hour if not more
Still haven’t been able to sleep through the night as I’m up emptying my bladder

Cocoblue22 · 18/09/2020 08:22

@Sophi123 I had a tummy scan at WTTW at six weeks if you say you'd prefer to try that first they will and saw little bean just fine. Think it depends on your build and uterus position too but it's worth asking x

@Bl0ndi3 I had tiredness and sore nipples from 4 weeks then my boobs got really sore about five weeks and started feel sick all the time (but I wasn't sick) I still have really sore nipples and I'm 15 weeks. This didn't happen last time with DS after 12 weeks with him I had no symptoms that I remember. Maybe I'm having a girl this time?!? X

Anyone else still got sore nips/boobs that's around 14/15 week stage? X

@Mrsi2020 happy birthday hope you had a lovely day 🎂 x

@SmileyT your take me out days? I'm intrigued x

Is anyone else finding sleeping difficult yet? I'm trying to sleep on my side and keep waking up with a numb aching side from being in one position I switch sides which temporarily helps but then a few hours later that side aches too x

Ltay2 · 18/09/2020 09:16

@Bl0ndi3 @blodyn91 So stupid aren't they all these lockdowns. I agree to being sensible and not going out unnecessarily being irresponsible but Coronavirus isn't going to just go away any time soon so of course the numbers are going to go up, especially as people who are asymptomatic aren't able to get tested at the moment which will be skewing the figures. I'm not too bothered about another lockdown as I can work from home but just hope it doesn't affect partners attending scans again!

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 09:25

@Ltay2 I'm the same as long as it doesn't send the NHS backwards with the antenatal stuff and also I wanna still be able to go swimming I've been really really enjoying it gone 3 times this week so far and it feels safe really well managed so I will be gutted if I can't go!

@Cocoblue22 ooooh I can't wait til you all start finding out the sex 👀🥰❤️ not that long off now surely!

blodyn91 · 18/09/2020 10:07

@Cocoblue22 I sleep spooning another pillow, feel that it really helps. I have no bump, but just helps with my boobs and I really miss sleeping on my belly 😩

@Bl0ndi3 went for a swim this morning 💆🏼‍♀️

Im one of 4, so for Christmas there is min 9 adults plus 2 kids, from 5 different households 😫 I love Christmas. Cancelled our uni re union in October 😫 Also think the rules regarding partners not allowed at scans is disgraceful! There will be protests if that comes back in I reckon

Madz123 · 18/09/2020 10:12

Have others been allowed partners at scans then? Still not allowed where I live anyway ☹️

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 10:14

@blodyn91 ahhh did you enjoy? I went last night and got really really bad cramp in my right upper arm and had to swim armless over to the side and the lifeguard came over to check I was okay 😂😂 went after a 5 mins or so, holding it under the hot shower and having a drink.

I'm trying to go 4 times a week minimum at the moment and hope I can continue doing so despite new covid restrictions. 🏊‍♀️ 🏊‍♀️

I am one of 5 and Christmas in our family is a minimum of 11 and sometimes 14+ people (one sister lives in Australia and comes every other year for Christmas) I really hope Christmas can go ahead as normal this year 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 10:16

@Madz123 where I live in east Lancashire it's 20 weeks can only at NHS. Dating scan I have to go alone.

Private scans are allowing partners though at least x

I am desperately hoping that my OH can come for the dating scan 😭

Madz123 · 18/09/2020 10:23

@Bl0ndi3 we're having to book private scans as partners aren't allowed at any NHS scans and my midwife doesn't think that'll change any time soon ☹️ hopefully the rules will change for you and your partner will be allowed at your dating scan!

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 10:32

I keep emailing my NHS trust pleading with them 😂

Other NHS trusts are allowing partners for ALL scans so I just don't understand why they're all different!

It's not fair and it hurts me to think that 1. I have to go alone and what if it's bad news 2. If it's good news my partner is missing seeing that and I'm missing out on sharing such an important moment with him.

It's not fair I shared a petition about this on Facebook and it's got lots of signatures so I'm hoping changes come soon!

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 10:33

I am also tempted to email all the MPs covering the east lancs area and asking them To do something about it.

Ltay2 · 18/09/2020 10:41

@Bl0ndi3 @blodyn91 I'd love to go swimming again but struggling to find somewhere that's open for pay as you go and not just members only at the moment 😩

blodyn91 · 18/09/2020 10:45

@madz123 @bl0ndi3 Im lucky then, OH allowed at 12 and 20 week scan. Makes no sense that its different elsewhere! Corona cases have always been low where I am. We would have had a private scan otherwise, need my OH there just incase. Its not fair that people have to fork money for it though. Cant believe some trust don't allow them in to any! Ive seen that petition on FB, ill go sign it.

Also Blondie, I cramp often when swimming, have a drink at the side of the pool, like orange squash with a pinch of salt in it. Or get some electrolyte tablets 😉

blodyn91 · 18/09/2020 10:48

@Ltay2 I use the council leisure centres. Not sure what they are like where you live, but the one I go to is only a few years old and one wall is all glass so the sun comes in 😎 and its cheap!

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 11:01

I've just written a long email and sent it to all the MPs that cover east Lancashire 😇😂 let's see what they say if anything.

I go to my council leisure centre which is also very new and lovely and I love it. I think they're members only for the most part though which is a shame for anybody who isn't a member.

@blodyn91 I had taken one with me but left it in my locker stupidly so got that and brought it out and was fine eventually haha never had upper arm cramp though.

mrsmummy1111 · 18/09/2020 11:52

Same here!

zippityzip · 18/09/2020 12:10

Yep we still aren't allowed partners to scans either.

So I've booked a private one at 16 weeks for my DH attend with me. I suggested it and is face lit up bless him. My first scan (7w) was private and he came to that one but hasn't seen the baby since.

I doubt by the 20w scan it would have changed either and I'm SE London. At this rate he's only allowed to watch the birth and then he's got to piss off straight after as well.

I've just had a mass exit from school WhatsApp groups. I cannot cope with the fucking hysteria and and general idiocy. All of you having your first babies watch out for this in a few years 😂 they used to be handy for remembering certain events etc but now it's just 40 women acting like the school created corona and it's all a conspiracy to kill us off and their precious bastard kids.

One even announced herself as a "health care professional" and went on for hours about you MUST give your kids vitamins and this is the ONLY way to build their immune system (wrong, but ok). And turns out she sells forever living and wanted parents to buy off her. How I kept my mouth shut for that one.

Anyway I took your advice and I've taken the afternoon off. HURAHHHHH and I'm home alone. Changing all the beds. Washing the towels. Doing general cleaning and making the place smell nice. Kids are at sleepovers tonight so I'm not making dinner 😁 I'll have a bath in my CLEAN HOUSE and read my degree modules. Boom.

Mococo1 · 18/09/2020 12:55

@zippityzip well deserved break 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I was told at my MW appointment no partners allowed and then they changed it by the time scan came round so hoping it's the same for 20w scan..I know I am extremely lucky to be able to have DH with me so feel for those who can't!

@Bl0ndi3 keep persisting I hope it works!

zippityzip · 18/09/2020 13:14

I'm all imagining you with country or northern accents now 😂

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 14:34

@zippityzip hahaha I'm from Wigan but never had a strong accent and I've now recently been told I sound like I'm from Yorkshire - even though I don't actually live in Yorkshire 🙄😂

Bl0ndi3 · 18/09/2020 14:35

This made me happy I've neveeeeer had a strong line on these tests!

Hahahaha same @zippityzip and here I am with my - couldn't be more Bromley if I tried - accent, really lowering the tone.

Every time you write something on here I think to myself yep, she is MY KINDA WOMAN. Sometimes I read threads on here about the playground gossip and think to myself seriously, do these women have nothing better to do.
