Been so busy at work I didn't get chance to have a catch up so working through now catching up from Sunday morning!!

@blodyn91 like @mrsmummy1111 says just ask if you need any recommendations/reviews on anything. I bought so much stuff for DS some of it was brilliant and some of it a waste of money. Like @mrsmummy1111 says my MIL bought a cheap video monitor off amazon for about £25-30 and it's just as good as the £200 model we forked out for! Wish I'd of known that back then! X

@Mococo1 I was sure I wanted a silver cross until I saw the occaro and then I loved that even more and it was a lot lighter. Glad telling your parents went well it's such a lovely time. My ass has got bigger too....something has to balance the bump out or you'd topple over 🤣 x

I also got a great changing table from IKEA little white one I think it was £30 bargain!! X

@Bl0ndi3 that's great progression x

@SmileyT* snuzpod is not convenient for travel at all it's bulky and hard to fit in the car! We bought a separate travel cot which folds up it was like £30 from mothercare much more convenient for travel x

Posting so I don't lose then will continue x

@FairyLights2 yay to seeing baby at you scan! I'm sure all will be fine with baby's bladder they often ask people back for a second one for lots of things just to check it's pretty standard so try not to worry x

Ladies I'm fully in the maternity clothes and loving them....sooo comfy! Not worth being uncomfortable in my opinion x

I bought some massive cheap nighties from primark for after the birth they were brilliant I just bought a larger size so comfy. I've bought stuff this time off Seraphine which is pricey but they fit well and look great and their bamboo leggings are the comfiest I've ever found x

@Mustbemad82 sorry you've had more bleeding hope all is okay? X

@Busybee143 hope you are okay too still reading down to find out if you had a scan or rang epu. I'm sorry to hear what OH said to you 😢 that's awful hope you can sort it out x

@zippityzip hope you and OH have made up now? X

@Mococo1 glad to hear everyone was thrilled at your news! It's so lovely once everyone knows isn't it and you can talk about it more 🥰 x

@blodyn91 so exciting about the house 🎉 x

@Catherinettc ah the old twins speculation I get that a lot too....I'm like nooo I just show early and get big quick but then it evens out towards the end! Every body and every bump is different and they are all normal and beautiful x

@samilicious mine says girl! X

@Mrsi2020 great lines! Deffo pregnant ❤️ I kept going to to use up all my tests and it made me feel better x

@blodyn91 sounds like it might be quite low! Mine is low too which is fine nothing to worry about just be careful with the dizzy spells though they are normal too towards end of first trimester x

Hope everyone is good on this sunny morning x

I have a very small bump, but I have always been quite petite. I didn't show with DS for absolutely AGES (genuinely I was about 18 weeks before I got any sort of bump) and was measuring small throughout almost my whole pregnancy, I even had to go for growth scans as I was so small. At 32 weeks I was 3cm under what I should've been, then by 34 weeks I was 2cm over! And from then on I just ballooned. I'm only 12 weeks on Friday so quite surprised I have any sort of bump already, but it's more that EVERYTHING is uncomfortable. I can just about fit into my normal stuff but it almost hurts where it's so uncomfortable. I was recommended the lulu lemon leggings in my last pregnancy which are pricy but honestly when I say I wore them to death, I genuinely mean I wore them probably 5 times a week. And they stretched even over my enormous belly at the end. So if anyone is after some decent leggings, couldn't recommend them more.

@Dipsy77 good luck with your scan 🥳 🎉 ... bet you can't wait to see your two little miracles ❤️❤️

@Bl0ndi3 @blodyn91 glad you ladies are keeping active, I feel like my social diary has picked back up and seem to be out for dinner all the time which is making the gym harder to fit in, especially with showers still closed at half the gyms I go to, need to get more disciplined 😩

@samilicious I've tried every old wives tale and all telling me it's a girl, still hopeful for a boy but going to try not to cry if they say girl 😂 hope everything is okay at home? x

All the line progressions look great 👍 Can't wait until everyone has had their dating scans so we can nail down due dates for everyone

In other news went to see my friend and her newborn last night and she gave me two bags of maternity stuff and a list of all the stuff I shouldn't buy as she'll give me including a snuzpod, Doona (car seat that pops to a pram for holiday), travel cot, sleepyhead and loads of other stuff 🥰 so hopefully that reduces the amount of shopping I need to do👌🏾 and @Cocoblue22 yeah my friend was saying last night a cheap travel cot is best or just using the bassinet from the pram if baby can sleep in there x

Also I've seen a few people mention wearing leggings, this is probably a stupid question but what do you wear them with, I've never worn non-gym leggings, are they like tights or jeans? 🙈

Well today's the day of my scan and I am so nervous 😟 it's Ruby's first birthday today and we have been up since 4.30, she is so grumpy crying at everything the in not bonus to that is I have lots of 18th birthday photos to embarrass her with. I have to wait while 2.30 and I feel so sick at the thought xx

@Bl0ndi3 - 16DPO, although haven't tested again today! Trying to hold off until Thursday in the hope that tests will have got obviously darker/stronger by then! The anxiety is draining - keep swinging between being more positive and then being sure this will end badly again :(.

Do any of you have any recommendations for pregnancy multivitamins? I've been advised by my midwife to take a general multivitamin that's safe for pregnancy rather than separate folic acid and vitamin d now so just looking into what are best! I'm a bit worried about pregnacare as I've heard a few stories about them making sickness/nausea worse? Anyone taking seven seas or a cheaper version like boots own brand?

Report
mrsmummy1111 · 15/09/2020 13:21

@Dipsy77 Happy birthday little lady!!! Let us know how the scan goes and how your two littlest ones are doing. Bet it's wonderful to see them again!

@Bl0ndi3 wow that's great progression!! And reassuring to see it next to your old tests and how much stronger they are, there's no denying that. You must be over the moon

@SmileyT That's a seriously good friend you've got there! Is your friend not having any more children now do you think?

@Ltay2 I actually heard pregnacare are the ones that are best for nausea?! Maybe I'm wrong though. I think seven seas are the main culprit for doing weird things to cycles when TTC and also nausea so I'd definitely avoid them. I took pregnacare throughout my first trimester with DS then the breastfeeding pregnacare when he was born and was always fine with them. Did MW say why it's better to take a pregnancy supplement rather than folic acid etc separately?

Oh guys I really wana catch up 😭😭 I've just had a safeguarding/case review explosion at work and my workload has just doubled overnight. I can barely keep on top of everything. I'm so exhausted I could actually cry and every five minutes I get another email that just pushes me closer to the edge!

@Bl0ndi3 excellent progression. How are you feeling???

@Ltay2 Im taking pregnacare - but mainly because I heard it makes your hair really nice 🙄 and I take it in the evening so I don't feel sick.

@Dipsy77 good luck as your scan thinking of you xx

@Cocoblue22 yeah pretty much we have sorted things out. He just really doesn't get it some times and I feel quite resentful of him. He's got this new "big important job" and the world currently revolves around him. I can't have a stressful day because his MUST be worse (when I already have the big important job and when my day goes tits up it means that someone is probably going to prison) but that's boring to him and my "nice little office job that I'm doing from home" because he never listens to what I actually do when I talk. Sorry, didn't expect that to go on so long 😂

Sorry guys I'm still reading!! Will catch up tonight hopefully xx
