@samilicious haha it's because it's to do with the conception month and due date month so we're all basically the same! Although some of us will definitely have boys! X

@mrsmummy1111 I feel the same as you, nice for ds to have a brother but also id like at least one girl in my brood! I'm hoping to have 3 or 4 kiddos too but now I'm debating that we may need a bigger house if we have more than 2 or 3 x

@SmileyT what a great friend giving you loads of stuff! Winner! 💪🏻 I wear leggins with long tops or dresses. The Seraphine bamboo maternity ones are by far the comfiest I have ever owned!! X

@Mococo1 I promise when you switch to maternity clothes it will be so obvious it's a baby bump they accentuate it nicely! And I totally agree with you on the jeans front! X

@Ltay2 I take either pregnacare or the free ones that come with the midwife pack at booking appointment that are vit c, d and folic acid. Pregnacare have never made me sick or feel sick either. I take them after breakfast with an array of other medicines I have to take! X

@zippityzip sorry to hear you're having a stressful day and how annoying that OH doesn't get it. That must be frustrating! My workload is crazy atm too 😩 don't know how to get everything done either! You are doing an amazing job though just keep going x

Anybody looked into creams fo stretch marks?
I still have my tiger stripes from when I hit puberty at 16 when my bum decided to grow 🙈, so I think ill definitely be prone to them. My boobs are growing so quick atm Im worried theyll develop some stretch marks. Not worried as such, just be nice not to have big red stripes if I can avoid it.

@blodyn91 Mums a dermatologist and she says plain old bio oil is the best thing for it. I used it from the day I found out with DS and didn't get a single stretch mark. Use it before you think you need it (eg asap) to give yourself the best chance. Sadly some people are just prone to them and others aren't, but if you know you've got a likelihood then get in there quickly and use them morning and eve before bed on belly bum and boobs 😉

@mrsmummy1111 @blodyn91 I have stretch marks everywhere except my stomach haha so I'd love to not have any on my stomach after baby so I will definitely invest in some soon and start using it!

I'll probably go with palmers or mama mio x

@blodyn91 I had to print something last time but maybe now you just scan the app or something I'm not sure. You can get them any time. Also I tried all sorts of belly creams spent a fortune on bio oil and still got loads of stretch marks it's genetic I'm afraid so if your mum/sisters got stretch marks chances are you will too. My boobs got stretch marks last time but only after the birth when they got massive then shrank! X

@Bl0ndi3 can't wait to see your 3+ next week (although don't be disheartened if it takes a few days longer than expected) I did one expecting 3+ and didn't get it then was upset but got it about 3 or 4 days after so leave it an extra few days than you expect is my advice x

@blodyn91 You just go in and ask. When I went in I actually saw all the bags hanging up behind the til. I tapped on the “redeem” on the app and held my phone out but he cashier didn’t scan it and didn’t seem particularly bothered about looking closely at it. Don’t know if that’s a Covid thing though!

I already have 4 red stretch marks 🙈 I have been getting the odd one appear and disappear over the last year though probably because I have put on a lot of weight over the last 3 years so may just be due to that rather than pregnancy as I don't think I have 'stretched' much at all so far. I also have old silvery stretch marks from puberty on my stomach too so I'm expecting to get a lot more before I'm done 🙄 maybe need to get buying the bio oil now!!

Girls im really really big and only 5 weeks. Its not going anywhere, don't feel bloated and looks like a proper bump. Literally don't fit into any of my trousers at all and defo not got my dates mixed up. I cant even keep it a secret because its such an obvious in ur face bump 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Is this ok or something to worry about? The twin remarks are now changing to triplet ones 🤣🤣

@blodyn91 @ltay2 @Bl0ndi3 atm I've been using Vaseline cocoa oil gel and I have palmers stretch mark lotion as well (I have sliver stretch marks everywhere from when I was quite big and also from when I lost the weight so my belly already looks like it's been through a pregnancy) my sister however recommended sweet almond oil and it's about £7.99 for a litre lol from eBay so I might try that apparently it's amazing for scars too! Just waiting for my oil gel and stretch mark cream to finish

Yeah I agree @mrsmummy1111 my midwife said 99% likely espesh if you're just genetically prone to it! X

@Mococo1 thanks honey - I've been looking back at my WhatsApp convos with my friends and a mumsnet group on there I've been in for TTC since november and those bloody tests had me so worried so it's amazing to have gotten 2-3 🥰🥰

How are you finding the palmers? What does it smell like 😂😂

Morning ladies. Sorry I didn't reply last night @Mococo1 I was wiped out. Work was good. It was fine as soon as I got there and lovely to see some of my colleagues... There's much stricter social distancing rules in the office now the guidelines are clearer, which is really good & generally just felt nice to be back. I'm glad I've got a phased return tho because I was mentally tired out but also physically too. It's the 1st time sinve being pregnant that I've had to just plow through the fatigue and not had the option to have a little rest. I definitely felt the difference. I got straight into bed at 3.30pm when I got home 😂

So many messages to reply to you all. The Chinese calendar thing puts me at girls too but it may be because we all convinced around the same time? I have no idea what baby is & won't find out until he/she is born but I'm just going to assume it's a boy lol. On DH side of the family they're all boys except his sister... he's got 7 male cousins & 1 brother. So it'll probably be a boy. I would love a girl because we already have a niece & I'd love then to have a great relationship growing up (in very close with my cousins and we're all girls in my family, and as adults are just a big group of friends) so I'd love that for my kids however I don't really mind. Either way. Boys are just as gorgeous. I thought I'd care more tbh but at this stage I just want a successful pregnancy and healthy baby. Admittedly I find boys names harder but I really don't mind what comes out haha...

So my new due date is the 15th March and my 20 week scan is on the 26th October. I have my 16 week appointment on the 2nd October and it's face to face so fingers crossed I get to hear the heartbeats xx

Oh and I've already got stretch marks from weight gain so I'm sure I'll get more. I'm going to look into some of the suggestions above to see if I can help slow down any more stretching but if I can't then at least I tried. I didn't think my boobs had grown much at all but I've got 2 or 3 tiny little strech marks on my boobs which I've recently noticed. Tiny ones towards my armpits... My SIL had alot on her boobs which she didn't expect so warned me that it happens - I was grateful for the warning as I didn't know it was a thing lol

@Mococo1 yes they are non identical although I think there is a very small chance they could be but I wouldn't think so. I'm thinking 2 girls because of the head shape of twin 1 and the nub on twin 2 but I'm not fussed at all just want healthy beans xx

@Catherinettc yes I had an inkling it was twins, I found out at a private scan at 10+5. I haven't got a bump although I do bloat up. I have suffered with very bad sickness which had started to ease off a bit now but I just had that feeling in the back of my mind it was twins xx
