@Mustbemad82 thats the style kitchen I want!! Dark units, white top 🙌 thinking navy or dark green. But first we need the house 🙈

@samilicious yeah dad bought a 100 phesants to rear, so all I need now is my shotgun license and Im free to spend Christmas with the family 🤣 Im also trying to think what a stoke accent is, maybe half way between Cannock and Liverpool- but they are so different 🤣🤣 My OH has no accent, doesn't sound Telford at all

Sophi123 · 19/09/2020 12:19

I've just started bleeding sad. Red blood and feels like period so guess I'm out. 5w2d and second early miscarriage (after first in July). Beyond gutted. Good luck to you all xxxxx

blodyn91 · 19/09/2020 12:21

@Sophi123 😭 are you sure its thats heavy? 🤞🤞 its not a mc. can't even imagine what you are going through! Van the doctor s do anything at this stage? 💜

Sausage1990 · 19/09/2020 12:48

@sophi123 oh no 😔 that's horrible. I hope it's not another loss for you and that the bleeding stops. See if you can contact the gp or EPU maybe for some advice & support. 🤞🏻 For you. Sending so much love 💕

Mococo1 · 19/09/2020 14:47

@Sophi123 hey hun hope you are okay❤️ praying that the bleeding stops for you miraculously 🤞🏽 hoping the best for you XX

@Mustbemad82 you have my dream kitchen! @Sausage1990 everything finds a way of working itself out so fingers crossed it'll all get done!

@samilicious that is shocking about your work please and quite negligent of them knowing!

@SmileyT I really think your work should be letting you wfh if it's possible (and it clearly is!) I think mine are under the impression that the entire office won't go back till jan so have said there may be no point in me going back as mat leave will start in march- hoping il be able to work till 40w if it's just from home 😃 also take me out! Love that show 🤪 and thank you for the list update surprisingly I got my 20w scan in the post yesterday! 12th of November x

Does anyone else feel like a lot of the time their peeing is different? Before when i was busting to go it would be like an ahhhh water pressure hose release and now no matter how much I'm busting it's just a medium to slow trickle for AGES! Is this a pregnancy thing lol? Hoping it's normal x

Cocoblue22 · 19/09/2020 16:33

@Bl0ndi3 two weeks till we find out 💙💗! Although could of found out next wknd as I'm further than originally thought but I looked online and there were no slots to move the scan forward so never mind can wait an extra week! Excellent IC progress! 🎉 x

@blodyn91 yeah I have three extra cushions around me and still uncomfy! Dug my pregnancy pillow out of the loft will try that tonight! X

@Madz123 my DH hasn't been allowed to anything nhs :( my next midwife appointment is next week (16 weeks) and I'm gutted it's over the phone as I remember hearing DS heartbeat when they use the Doppler at that one :( I'm frustrated that the rules are so different depending where you are in the country. And the private scans we've booked he's been to because that seems completely fine! It's so random! X

@zippityzip hope you had a lovely evening and something nice for your tea? X

@Mustbemad82 beautiful kitchen 👌🏻👀 x

@SmileyT what I got told was it's more risky if you catch Covid in third trimester that it can lead to premature labour same as flu. My midwife told me current guidance was work from home from 28 weeks but that was 8 weeks ago so who knows guess we will find out eventually! Don't want to take mat leave at 28 weeks tho x

@Sophi123 oh no so sorry to hear that your bleeding hope everything is okay x

zippityzip · 19/09/2020 16:35

@Mustbemad82 I just had an orgasm over your kitchen.

Cocoblue22 · 19/09/2020 16:36

Also I'm googling take me out girls now trying to find @SmileyT 🤣 all the girls are very smiley so it's hard 🤣 x

zippityzip · 19/09/2020 16:37

@samilicious I love the Stoke accent. I was sleeping with the most beautiful guy from Stoke but we met whilst living in the Canaries so it had a Spanish twang.

Haha Dinner Date 🤣 was your mum cooking or cooked for??

zippityzip · 19/09/2020 16:43

@Cocoblue22 You're joking - ended up picking up a drunk husband from the train station. Then I was too pissed off to cook so ended up ubering a McDonald's and got someone else's order so I was even more pissed off.

Then drunk DH kept trying it on with me so I was refuting his advances for half the night because I was annoyed and he stunk of beer even after a shower.

@Sophi123 Sorry to hear you're bleeding. I had a fair bit in the early weeks it may be ok - can you get checked at an EPU?? How are you feeling now?

Mustbemad82 · 19/09/2020 16:48

@Sophi123 go and get it checked . I’ve bled on and off for a while and each time my heart sinks
I’ve had more today

@zippityzip! You make me laugh. I almost orgasmed at the end but it felt like a long ole slog !!!!

Madz123 · 19/09/2020 17:20

@Cocoblue22 luckily my midwife has said I can now either have the 16 week one face to face or on the phone so I've chosen face to face. Although I've naughtily got a Doppler at home so I already listen to bubba 🙈

mrsmummy1111 · 19/09/2020 19:44

@zippityzip Oh yeah the dulcet tones of Beckenham. And DH is a Geordie so we couldn't be more different (probably just totally outed myself as who else in Bromley is married to a geordie 🤣) Our son is going to be so confused growing up as it's "book" from me and "bewk" from him, and everything is "canny" or "us" (when he actually means me) - JUST SAY ME FOR FUCK SAKE! (Sorry to any Geordies out there).

@Mustbemad82 Woah, that's a kitchen and a half! Absolutely love that style with the dark cabinets and parquet flooring.

How's everything @Sophi123? Hope you're doing alright.

Sophi123 · 19/09/2020 19:50

Thanks for all your support. Bleeding has stopped but have some cramping and backache. I'm not really sure who can call on weekend. Local EPU/GP open on Monday AM. Doesn't feel like should go to A&E especially as being only just over 5 weeks means they'll probably just say to wait and see how it plays out. Guess just need to sit tight but really not feeling hopeful, not helped by zero other symptoms until bleeding/cramping started today :(

Catherinettc · 19/09/2020 20:27

Sorry I haven't been on. Had a shit day 😭

Had to drive my eldest dd 2 hours to the airport at 3am for her early flight to Liverpool as she had a slot for accommodation keys (covid restrictions) so go her there in perfect time etc. Gave her a quick wave and set off back home (another 2 hours) to get a few hours sleep before I had to catch my own flight to join her. Local airport no big drive for me thankfully.

4 hours sleep was all I could manage so plenty of time to chill before my flight. Headed to the airport all chuffed that I had booked parking there so no need for an expensive taxi there and coming back on Tuesday. The airport was so quiet it was quite creepy. Was thinking how people must be scared to travel due to circumstances etc.

Nope got times wrong so missed my flight! I was a blubbering emotional wreck. I literally gave my daughter a wave goodbye, no hug etc and now had missed the flight (she won't be home till Christmas). Couldn't even drive home for a while I had to sit in the carpark cos I couldn't stop crying 😭 (I'm not a crier at all)

Got home in a state so my poor hubby has sorted new flight for 2morro and we are now all going to surprise her ❤❤

Sorry for rambling ladies. I never thought that I would feel like my 19 year old was back ro being a newborn when it came rime for her to leave home 🤣🤣 xx

Cocoblue22 · 19/09/2020 20:31

@Catherinettc aww that's totally understandable you would cry she's still your baby no matter what age she is! Glad your DH came to the rescue though x

Catherinettc · 19/09/2020 21:11

Hes alright sometimes @Cocoblue22 🤣🤣

Think it was me crying that shocked him lol im not easily emotional xx

SmileyT · 20/09/2020 09:27

@Sophi123 how are you feeling this morning? I think it's important to speak to your Dr anyway even if there isn't much they can do, they may book you in for a scan in a week or so or just update your notes. I think it's a good sign if the bleeding isn't continuous aswell. Sending you lots of love ❤️

@Sausage1990 thanks for the article but it's not been updated since March and I know the guidance has changed since then, it's so hard to find anything recent online 🤔

@Mococo1 definitely get you on the peeing front, I think now I'm in the 2nd trimester not really needing to pee as much as baby moves up away from bladder and don't have the early pregnancy hormones causing the kidneys into overdrive but think I'm in a habit of going to the toilet more so it always seems to be a trickle when I'm there😂 and yes it would be a dream if I could wfh, even just saving on the 2hr commute would be great, was so jealous reading all the people on fb group that had daytime naps in the early weeks x

@Cocoblue22 how did you get on with the pregnancy pillow last night? Think I might invest in one when I get a proper bump. Oh and if you google 'take me out McDonalds' you'll probably see a smiley pic of me, this is why we need a fb group don't have to be so incognito 😂 Oh that's interesting about the premature birth with COVID, I'm going to ask my midwife at my 16week appt because I'm sure if I provide work with evidence there are any risks they'll accommodate but just can't find anything online x

@Madz123 @Mococo1 are you both loving your dopplers? I've read so much about being unsure of what sounds you're actually picking up like placenta so was weary but do you both find it pretty easy to distinguish? Thinking I should get one x

@Catherinettc ahh bless ya... glad you sorted another flight for today hope you have a nice couple nights getting her settled in x

Mococo1 · 20/09/2020 09:57

@SmileyT is it you who said her whole macds order😂 I don't even need to google I think remember 👌🏽 legend!

so Doppler is a hit and miss I actually haven't used it for a while but just got it out to test...mines actually meant for use from 14weeks onwards but I got the HB way earlier 🤣

the BPM flashes up on the screen so I know lol - But I don't get it for long maybe 5-10secs so it's not enough to hear that horseshoe sound (could be as I'm quite early and baby is very squirmy).

I would say compared to a few weeks ago the placenta is so loud and I barely need to press down to hear anymore

DH said it sounds just like the background noise on the pregnancy + app lol I'm hoping once baby is a bit bigger it will stay still enough for me to hear clearly- it's not fab but reassured me enough for a tenner 🤣

@Catherinettc bless your heart your baby is your baby no matter how old ❤️ glad it's all sorted and hope u have a safe flight x

@Sophi123 bleeding stopping sounds like a really good sign! 🤞🏽 could I ask was it fresh red or brown? Or pinkish and how heavy? Only asking as I had a lot of spotting on and off weeks 6-7 and it really scared me that I was miscarrying again 😩 so I know the feeling

It might be worth calling gp/epu anyway as they might not scan at this stage but sometimes they still take blood tests to ensure your hormone levels are going up, we all have our fingers and toes crossed for you that this will be a sticky bean x

@Mustbemad82 I had a dream me and DH were cooking pancakes in an air bnb but it was in your kitchen 😂

Ughhhh I had a nap last night during the arsenal game and then we stayed up till 2am at the neighbours came home had a quick sex session and fell asleep..I have been up since 5.30am and absolutely shattered- hoping to get to bed again soon but I know my SIL and MIL will be ringing me later to go out but I know without sleep I just Cba 😂 means DH will be getting in a massive strop with me ffs lol

Sorry I always seem to write essays on here xx

Sophi123 · 20/09/2020 10:06

Morning @SmileyT! Well bleeding seems to have stopped and, at the moment, still 3+ on clearblue. Am going to give EPU/GP a call tomorrow. Feels like maybe not all over yet, but equally don't have much hope!

Sophi123 · 20/09/2020 10:22

@Mococo1 it felt like pretty substantial dark red/brown blood but also only really came out like that when I wiped. Put a pad on and that just had a few brown streaks. I guess was worried though given had backache and abdominal/vaginal cramping too although not severe. Finding it all very confusing!

Sausage1990 · 20/09/2020 10:44

@sophi123 I had spotting when I wiped twice in the 1st few weeks but again only on wiping. I had a scan the day after the 2nd lot of spotting at 7+4 weeks and everything was fine. I've not had any spotting since. All hope is not lost 🤞🏻 everything will be okay for you, but understand the stress & anxiety it's causing atm. Big hugs xx

Bl0ndi3 · 20/09/2020 10:52

Morning ladies

Had a nice day out in Blackpool yesterday with OH and his son at the arcades then came home and did some pregnancy meditation and fell asleep 🥰

@Sophi123 it sounds promising so far if the bleeding has stopped and it was brown not red . When my bleeding started with my early MC it was RED like bright red and continuous. Fingers crossed everything is okay 🥰 try and relax best you can today and then see what your options are tomorrow when you phone EPU. Xxx

Busybee143 · 20/09/2020 11:06

Hello everyone, sorry I've been quiet this week, I've had a very busy week at work and I've needed some down time this week. I'm so glad to see your all OK, @Sophi123 I'm sure the bleeding is nothing to worry about and baby is all OK, try not to worry (my god I know that's hard!). I've not had chance to read all the pages I've missed but I've seen a beautiful kitchen, lots of talk about gender scans (exciting!) and a few of you living in areas very close to me!! How crazy!
My mw was supposed to have rung by now to book my booking appointment (I'm 8+3 today) but no look so far, I've been sent a couple of booklets and in one of them it tells me screening is my choice and I've got to book my ultrasound for 12 weeks myself. I'm still very undecided of a private scan, I'm so scared of bad news but I'm also aware I will probably have to go on my own to my 12 weeks scan which I may or may not need some support for so as much as I don't want to I think I'm going to have to book an early scan. Do you guys think I should wait till 10 weeks or will 9 weeks be OK?
