We loved Ivy for a girl, but everyone thought it was a deliberate tribute to our IVF treatment, so that wasn't ideal...

chloxhunt · 15/09/2020 19:00

@ValidUser awww no we've got lily and leo

Dipsy77 · 15/09/2020 19:02

@Sussexbysea so pleased all is ok for you x

Dipsy77 · 15/09/2020 19:03

Had my scan today I'm 14+1 and now starting to feel excited after the terrible nerves I've had over the last few weeks due to my MMC in February. Twin 2 was upside down so not a great pic but I'm so relieved all looks ok xx

@Dipsy77 awww congratulations!!

aureliacecilia · 15/09/2020 19:13

Congratulations @Dipsy77! My baby was upside down nearly the whole time today too.

MrsAndMrs · 15/09/2020 19:25

Congrats on all the lovely scans popping up!

Heres a wee glimpse of my bump....second time around and this kid is wasting no time! 😂🤰🏻

chloxhunt · 15/09/2020 19:29

So far I've craved chocolate cake for breakfast two days in a row and then bbq sauce (not at the same time obvs) guessing I'm gonna have sweet cravings 😂

ValidUser · 15/09/2020 19:29

@chloxhunt great names!

@MrsAndMrs lovely bump. 😊

@Dipsy77 fabulous scan pictures!

chloxhunt · 15/09/2020 19:34

@ValidUser thank you! We came up with Leo while we were at work 😂 I'm excited to have a boy which I think it will be now we've got the name 😂

Phie04 · 15/09/2020 19:38

@aureliacecilia im due that date too!

Mrs1989 · 15/09/2020 19:41

Thanks @SnickerdoodleSnek 😊 yes, I had a good giggle with mum and sister about the bowel gas too!

@holb54 we have a couple of girls’ names we like but just the one for a boy! Mum was trying to fish but we are adamant that nobody is knowing the name until we have given it to baby!

@ValidUser Ivy is a beautiful name and I would never have linked it to IVF, I just think it’s a gorgeous name!

@Dipsy77 so pleased you are feeling excited now and what amazing pics of your twins! Twin 2 just wantEd to pose their way!

@MrsandMrs wow, your bump! I’m nowhere near that yet! Would really like a bump soon but I’m a first-timer so I might be waiting!

@chloxhunt my mum mentioned the other day that she often fancied something savoury like cheese but would then need a sweet straight after. That’s how her love of Rolos started!

holb54 · 15/09/2020 19:44

@ValidUser I like the name Ivy, wouldn't use it but purely because my name is Holly! Can't believe people thought it was in reference to the IVF 😂

@chloxhunt both those names are lovely!

@Dipsy77 brilliant scan pics!

@Thack oh gosh, that was an unfortunate typo 🤦🏽‍♀️ I really should get my screen fixed, haha!

Wow lovely bumps ladies!!! I was comparing bump photos from my first pregnancy to this one (3rd) last night, defo showing sooner this time round, but no real ‘bump’, I just feel a bit chubby!
Has anybody felt any flutterings yet?

KatyCherry23 · 15/09/2020 20:14

Bowel gas 😂😂😂 I don't think people who work in Midwifery could ever get embarrassed, the stuff they must hear on the daily!

That's my bump at the moment at 12+5. My friends have said it just looks like I need a poo but I'm normally very flat stomach so I feel like I've been showing for ages. I've had a few glances where people obviously wanted to ask but thought better of it 😂😂

For a boy or girl I love Rohan because it works for british and Indian names but my OH isn't that keen.
Otherwise we have Cadence but we keep changing our minds.

@Mrs1989 haha no way! Tbh cheese has saved me before i had cravings and disliked everything 😂😂 now bring me that chocolate cake with the icing 😂

chloxhunt · 15/09/2020 20:15

L@holb54 aw thank you! I prefer short names i don't know why

DSP21 · 15/09/2020 20:27

I've never had heartburn before so not sure if what i'm feeling is it..but had a spicey bowl of rice for dinner and chest just under the ribs feels a bit burny.

chloxhunt · 15/09/2020 20:31

@DSP21 I'd say the indigestion heartburn usually feels burning when your heart is

KatyCherry23 · 15/09/2020 20:34

@DSP21 heartburn ranges from a little sting to a "oh crap I'm having a heart attack" 😂😂 and everything in between. The first time I had it I was 17 and got rushed to A&E because I was screaming in pain and holding my heart. I had no idea what it felt like. I felt like such an idiot.

aureliacecilia · 15/09/2020 20:41

I expect my baby is a boy. It was mostly upside down for the scan but we did manage to get a picture towards the end where it was lying on its back.

I'm struggling with boys' names but we like names like Benjamin, Rupert and Elliot at the moment. For a girl we are fairly agreed on Clara or possibly Martha.

Rosehips89 · 15/09/2020 20:42

@LandMammal I think so! I'm 15 weeks tomorrow with my first successful pregnancy. I'm pretty in tune with my body normally but I've noticed some stroking up and down and up again just above belly button. It's happened every day for 3 days now in the same place each time. I also have gas movements and it's so different, I just know its not gas. Could it be??

Mrs1989 · 15/09/2020 20:54

Beautiful scan pic @aureliacecilia and you have some lovely names in your shortlist! I like Benjamin but my DH said no to that pretty early on purely because a boy who was a bit mean to him at primary school was a Benjamin! I also have a whole list of names from my sister of people from school she did not like and therefore I am not to use their names 😂
