Thread for anyone due in March 2021 💜 including those due end of February and early April 😊

Newbie on the thread. Due 18th March, so currently 15w +2 days. Very very nervous after two losses, and this is the furthest I've ever got with pregnancy. I have a little boy who is almost 2 who I adopted from 6 weeks old so also very nervous about a newborn and recovery!! I loved being a new mum with heaps of energy and no recovery/body changing when I adopted... everyone used to comment on how amazing I looked for having a 6 week old 🙃 so guilty for saying thanks and grinning away.

Gender scan booked for 9th Oct! Hope everyone is ok today x

@holb54 I was exactly 16 weeks when I went for the gender scan. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to tell. But his manhood was very visible. I posted my scan on Wednesday. Thank you for organising the Facebook group.

@aureliacecilia I spent ages last night looking for a waterproof winter coat for dog walking but can't find anything that's very waterproof under £99.

@fortheloveoffridays welcome! I'm due 15th so you're not far off me, not that I still don't worry but is nice to be in the second trimester. Haha don't feel guilty, I probably would have done it myself 😂

@Babafarmer I've a private scan today, just want a bit of reassurance. I'm only 15w5d but might see if they can see anything today, wasn't going to ask but if all goes well I might!

@holb54 if they went by my LMP date which is more realistic as I know when I ovulated I would have been 15+4. X

Hi all, glad to catch up and see everyone is well.
Been a stressful week but so relieved it's done. Audit went well and I finally told work, so it's out of my head.

Ahh today my muscles are aching!! Everywhere, mainly my tummy though. Feels like I’ve pulled something. So glad I’ve got a scan on Thursday, GENDER DAY!! It’s also the day we’ll tell our daughter. She thinks I’ve eaten too much food at the moment so it’ll be nice to tell her the truth

So found out today I’m adding to the girl gang 💖💖 I know there’s not many of us on here!!
17 weeks for me tomorrow and we’re finally telling friends and family today! Xxx

I’m 16+1 today and feeling very zen. Though I would love a quick scan just to make sure baby is ok! I’m going to have to hang on for the 20/21 weeks scan as the places that do private scans are in areas that are either in lockdown or are close to it.
I’ve been looking at cribs and prams and I’m pretty sure about what I want. I have lots of stuff left from my last baby so I’m going to blow out on a few bits!

I'm 15+2. Scan is at the end of next month. The way things are going with the virus I would be surprised if DH can come with me. At this rate we might yet be keeping the sex a surprise until birth!

wow loooads having gender scans! how many of us are keeping it a surprise until birth?

@LandMammal my scans on 23rd- I really want to know the gender!

@holb54 how did your scan go? Were you able to find out gender?

I won’t be finding out either @LandMammal. I must admit I’m a lot more tempted to find out second time round though!

@ChubbyMumFromSkye scan went really good, girl doing the scan was great and we felt we got to see baby lots! Only 15w5d so didn't think they'd see anything but the sonographer said there was no mistaking what we're having... we're officially team blue! 🥳💙

Is anyone's boobs growing in unevenly? Mine has always been slightly asymmetrical but man, rightie definitely isn't pulling her weight. Even the nipples pointing straight down. It's the first time I've felt bad about how they look.

@LandMammal we won’t be finding out either. It’s mine and DP’s first together so I want him to be able to tell me. I’m convinced it’s a girl though and he thinks it’s a boy so one of us is going to get a shock!
