Good morning guys. I saw someone mention the nublogists on here so for 7.99 I thought I've give it a go for a bit of fun. With 85% confidence they said it's a girl!
I really am terrible, I don't want to know until birth but I cant help myself. I'm the same at Christmas and guessing Christmas presents 😂

@DSP21 the age related risk at term is the average for a woman of your age, the individual risk is what has been calculated for you when they add in the NT measurement and blood results. My individual risk was higher than my age related risk which is why we decided to go a private NIPT, it was very likely to be fine but I worry too much!
@GreysLove we are looking at the CoZee crib too, was originally looking at the Snuzpod but it doesn't look like it folds down so would be a pain to store? The CoZee looks good for travelling too so wouldn't need a separate travel cot for a while.

aureliacecilia · 25/09/2020 08:28

@Wren1986 My Snuzpod 2 came flat packed so it was fine to store when not in use.

Wren1986 · 25/09/2020 08:31

@aureliacecilia that's good to know, so it's not the sort of thing that's a pain to build and then take apart again? They are on offer at a lot of places right now so will take another look, I have always liked the style of them.

aureliacecilia · 25/09/2020 08:34

I don't think you would want to be rebuilding it often but it's easy enough to store away flat @Wren1986

Is anyone feeling less pregnant now we're in second trimester??? I don't really have much of a bump yet and sickness has passed so I just feel normal! I hated being sick and couldn't wait for it to be over but now find myself missing pregnancy symptoms. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Only had my scan on Monday so I know everything is good really but can't help feeling odd!haha! Pregnancy really is a rollercoaster

ChubbyMumFromSkye · 25/09/2020 08:42

Oooops just realised I tagged @KatyCherry23 instead of @KatieG200394 earlier 🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry for any confusion guys! 😂

@GreysLove thank you I will look at that one too 😄

KatyCherry23 · 25/09/2020 08:47

@ChubbyMumFromSkye it's okay! I kinda guessed it wasn't aimed at me. I'm very much an O+ although interestingly my partner is O- so baby will be O something.

MrsJ89 · 25/09/2020 08:48

@emmafou1807 I've had a few days like this and I have a bump. I know it sounds weird I don't know whether it's because I'm used to it now but I feel like my bump is getting smaller! With this pregnancy I keep dreaming that I'm bleeding which also isn't nice to wake up worrying too

emmafou1807 · 25/09/2020 08:56

@MrsJ89 my best friend actually noticed that her bump 'got smaller' I think it's something to do with progesterone and the placenta taking over. So apparently that is normal. But it is strange to now not really feel very pregnant. I guess this is why second trimester is when they say to sort out baby room etc because we feel almost normal for a bit! Hopefully your dreams change soon, that doesn't sound enjoyable at all

plwcm · 25/09/2020 08:57

@emmafou1807 I'm almost 17 weeks now and my sickness only now seems to be going. Haven't thrown up since Monday when I was throwing up at least 4 days a week (luckily only normally in the morning with a few odd spells throughout the day). But now I don't wake up feeling too bad, I'm now getting cold symptoms when I wake which I read is common in pregnancy around the stage anyway, so trying to make sure I drink a lot to get rid of it 😂.

I don't have a bump yet, but the bottom half of my belly is quite hard now, with closer to my ribs being a bit squishy but definitely firmer than a few weeks ago. I can't wait to have a bump though Blush

chloxhunt · 25/09/2020 08:57

@emmafou1807 yeah i am! I keep forgetting I'm pregnant tbh and I'm 14 weeks 😂

emmafou1807 · 25/09/2020 09:08

@cloxhunt yeah I'm 14 weeks too 😊

MrsJ89 · 25/09/2020 09:30

@emmafou1807 I kind of remember feeling like this with my first for abit before you start to feel movements you know are definitely the baby. Hopefully then the dreams will stop too 🤞

noor777 · 25/09/2020 09:55

Hi everyone
I cant seem to find the link to the fb page. Can someone please put the link up again? I’m 12weeks and 4 days now, had a scan yesterday! It all feel so real now Xx

aureliacecilia · 25/09/2020 09:59

@noor777 It's not been set up yet but there is another one you can join in the meantime. @Thack might have the details for you.

Re VBAC - I'm thinking about this too. I'm open-minded at the moment but if it means I can be in and out of hospital quicker then I'd prefer that.

MrsAndMrs · 25/09/2020 10:01

I feel the same, I still have some symptoms but not nearly as bad. I'm dying to feel bub moving now, ive felt whats like little bubbles in my tummy recently so I'm hoping that is bub having a party in there!

aureliacecilia · 25/09/2020 10:02

Are you due in April @noor777? We've got women here who expect to give birth between late Feb and early Apr so you are more than welcome. Just wondering as I'm due towards the end of the month (18th) and I'm 15 weeks already.

chloxhunt · 25/09/2020 10:20

Can you have pumpkin spiced lattes when your pregnant (I already know about the caffeine I mean the pumpkin spiced side of it) 🧐

aureliacecilia · 25/09/2020 10:34

Isn't it just a pumpkin spiced flavoured sugar syrup and a bit of cream? I can't see what would be wrong with that. What are you worried could be in it? Also, are they back in Starbucks?!

noor777 · 25/09/2020 10:36

Ahh okay! Will look our for details. Yes, I’m due on the 4th of April! Was very reluctant to join anything so far due to recurrent miscarriages. This is the first time we’ve reached 12 weeks! Feel so blessed! I have been quietly reading the march threads and loving everyone’s scan photos xx

chloxhunt · 25/09/2020 10:46

@aureliacecilia you're not supposed to have chai lattes either and that's just syrup lol and yes there back today!

emmafou1807 · 25/09/2020 11:06

@cloxhunt

aureliacecilia · 25/09/2020 11:15

@chloxhunt I hadn't heard that and can't really see they would be out of bounds. Aren't they just sugary tea?!

Starbucks does decaf coffee by the way so you can order a decaf PSL.

chloxhunt · 25/09/2020 11:32

@aureliacecilia I still to caffeinated lol yeah pretty much I don't understand why either all weird
