Pregnancy group for anyone due in March 2021 💜

Anyone else throw up if they remove food from the back of their teeth?🤢

Welcome @Wavescrashingonthebeach! I really didn’t have many symptoms either - some nausea worse at times than others and boobs which are growing like no tomorrow but nothing else. This is my third baby and symptoms have varied each time so try not to worry.

@Oldermum80 @Mrs1989 I was totally the same. I think after a previous loss/losses you have to try and protect yourself from being complacent. I had two early scans (7 weeks and 10 weeks) and I was still convinced they were going to tell me something was wrong yesterday. I started every sentence with “if everything goes right this time...”. Miscarriage really robs you of the joy of the first 12 weeks doesn’t it?! Although I’ll never be as relaxed as my previous pregnancies when I hadn’t experienced loss, I can honestly say the 12 week scan has helped so much. I won’t say “everything will be fine” because I hated people trying to tell me that when they had no way of knowing but you are so close now!!

@Calgoose omg that is exactly how me and my OH are...it's so sad but we literally start every relating sentence with "is everything is alright this time" it's so sad, it really does scar you going through loss etc, for the people that do know I feel like I'm a fraud when they congratulate me as we got to the 12 week mark last time when something severe was wrong with the baby that meant it couldn't live & an ectopic previously and I just fear all the bad stuff, is there gonna be a heartbeat, will the baby have stopped growing, is something severely wrong again, have I had a MMC. It's so frightening & you feel robbed of the joy we should feel.
My lack of symptoms this time haven't helped as my sickness suddenly stopped about 3 weeks ago and other than tiredness & slightly sore boobs I've felt absolutely fine, no food aversions this time etc. Xx

@HollieL567 that's kinda what I'm like I haven't lost any but I've seen my mum go through it i don't even know how many miscarriages she's had but if it's bought up she'll just say loads, she lost my sister at 21 weeks too, they were too busy looking at her heart because they didn't catch my heart condition until i was born that they weren't looking at the whole picture

Best of luck to those with scans today! I've got to get through school first 😩 honestly over the past few days I haven't been feeling as positive because my symptoms are slowing or stopping. I'm hoping everything is alright but I'm kind of also preparing for the worst.

Btw I've been taking Pregnacare max for a couple of weeks now just because of the extra vitamins! My B12 and Vit D levels are usually low so a daily top up should help. I hate the omega-3 pill though as it's huge 😂

@HollieL567 it’s awful isn’t it. The last few months have been the longest of my life - hours have felt like days. How long have you got until your 12 week scan this time? I honestly have had so few symptoms but I know from previous pregnancies that is normal for me. It doesn’t help though and I’ve definitely gone to through days of thinking “they’re not sore today - something’s happened” but fingers crossed (still can’t help myself!!) everything actually is ok this time. I slept better last night than I have in a long time!

I have to go for a glucose tolerance test today as my last baby was.....very large. I had one many years ago with my first but can’t really remember the process. Although my SIL sent an image which said “if 2020 was a drink it would be the orange glucose test drink” so....yay

Phew I'm all caught up! Welcome @Georgiaa18 and @Wavescrashingonthebeach when are/were your scans?

Monday can't come soon enough for mine, I feel like I can cope with the symptoms much better better after knowing there's a real reason for them! Also can stop trying to wear my old jeans with the flies undone to hide the bump!

Got my scan at 10.40 (or whenever they take me, was late last week). Getting nervous now too

@Symphony87 aw! Mines at 10 at least you don't have to wait too long as it's still the morning I'd hate to have an afternoon one

@Usplusone thank you, I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday and I have been given the 16th March for my due date.

Thanks @Calgoose Oh and guys, after me saying ive had hardly any symptoms, i projectile vomited while walking the dog this morning hahahaha!! It was only water. But unfortunately the force of it made me wee myself 🙈!

@Wavescrashingonthebeach thank you.. this seems like a really lovely group and it is really nice to have support and lots of ladies who are all going through the same stages of pregnancy together.. so excited to share this journey with everyone!

@Wavescrashingonthebeach that sounds like a whale of a time 😂 i started throwing up yesterday after i had something spicy 🤢 never been in so much pain lol
