@Wavescrashingonthebeach she also said i was jealous, of what? Fuck knows 😂

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 10/09/2020 21:14

@chloxhunt thanks for the rundown!!! Oooh she sounds like a nightmare. Id run a mile. Give her some distance she doesnt deserve your headspace Smile. She can work out her issues herself, she doesnt need to impose them on you!

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 21:17

@Wavescrashingonthebeach exactly!! And she was all like "you haven't asked me about my pregnancy either" because you never responded! 😂

Oldermum80 · 10/09/2020 21:50

@Mrs1989 so much of that is the same! I said today to a colleague who knows that I think it might not work out. Her response was I shouldn’t think like that but as I said to her, it’s better than to assume all is okay and be wrong. It’s helping me to prepare it might not be, if that makes sense.

@chloxhunt sounds very insecure! Think of you and do what’s best. I find it odd that she was supportive when it could be bad news, but then quiet when it was okay. Not a true friend and not worth stressing over.

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 10/09/2020 21:51

@chloxhunt

I think no matter what you do this person will always turn it around to be about them. Ah well, it's good to make some room in your life for the wonderful things about to enter it!

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 21:56

@Oldermum80 @Wavescrashingonthebeach thanks guys! She's one of those people you'll be friends with but can't really trust her she can't say anything nice about anyone, she even wrote a tweet about me last week saying "why would you hint about your pregnancy before 12+ weeks i couldn't" everyone at work knows because I'm not allowed to do much there so it's easier to explain why and she's forgetting I've already had two scans

Babafarmer · 10/09/2020 21:59

Gosh only just managed to catch up on the busy afternoons chat. Hope everyone is ok. I've put on loads of weight and already in over the bump pants at 14+1. I have eaten like a pig though and now trying to be health again.

Lovely scans @Taylortyler and @Calgoose

Welcome @Wavescrashingonthebeach

@chloxhunt I would definitely ignore her. She sounds like a fruit cake and not width your energy x

Aurora124 · 10/09/2020 22:00

@chloxhunt it sounds like she wants all the attention and is annoyed you are pregnant too and has to share it. When you post something she has to try and outshine you. As @Oldermum80 said she sounds insecure. It actually sounds like she is jealous of you.

Those who care about you will be very happy for you, no need to have a 'friend' like that just now. Maybe things will calm down when you both have the baby but it sounds like she will always be in competition with you.

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 22:00

@Babafarmer fruitcake love that 😂 yeah she never has been! I feel better now 😂

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 10/09/2020 22:01

@chloxhunt

That's vile her tweeting that. She needs to mind her own business! Id fully block her across all mediums. Also, i suspect the only reason she was "supportive" over your scare was because she was feeding off the "drama". Ive been around toxic people like that. Cut off and move on!

SnickerdoodleSnek · 10/09/2020 22:01

@chloxhunt Yikes! Sounds like a snarky cow. I don't think you're missing much by not having her on your social media!

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 22:06

@Wavescrashingonthebeach @SnickerdoodleSnek exactly proper moonfruit she is! She is honestly so toxic it's a joke! And yeah you're probably right and she had the cheek to say I hadn't asked about hers either??! Ohahaha happily delete her out of my life

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 22:15

@Aurora124 yeah exactly! And she was saying she wasn't posting stuff because I'm pregnant then any post when i did 😂 and in my opinion it doesn't really matter when you tell people you're pregnant because something could happen no matter how far along you are! I've seen it first hand with my mum

Aurora124 · 10/09/2020 22:30

For those of you mentioning vitamins earlier, I have just been taking vitamins given to me by the midwife. I didn't realise we were to be taking anything else? Confused should I invest is others too?

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 22:36

@Aurora124 folic acid but you can stop taking that at 12 weeks anyways oooo yes 666

Aurora124 · 10/09/2020 22:51

The victims i was given include folic acid, I took them whole of my last pregnancy. they said to just ask for more when they run out so didn't think there was a time limit and.there was no suggestion to take anything in addition to this..

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 22:52

@Aurora124 I think you're okay then think it has everything in there you need

Aurora124 · 10/09/2020 22:54

Ok 😊 the things i worry about!

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 22:56

@Aurora124 it's normal to worry!!

holb54 · 10/09/2020 23:00

@Aurora124 I was talking to my pharmacist today on her opinion and she said one of the best things you can take is the pregnacare max because it's still all the folic acid but with the omega 3 and that you can take it the whole pregnancy!

chloxhunt · 10/09/2020 23:03

@holb54 that's what I'm going to swap too I think! I can't seem to find any other makes though and I'm sure it's that, that makes me ill sometimes

Mrs1989 · 10/09/2020 23:11

@Wavescrashingonthebeach to be fair, while I was really worrying a couple of weeks back about lack of symptoms, plenty of ladies on here have had the same and posted lovely 12 week scan pics! So I have been reassured that it’s not an indicator of anything being wrong! It just surprised me a little as I imagined every woman experienced morning sickness! In more recent weeks I have felt mildly queasy every now and then which passes quite quickly. Strangely though, it has been later in the evening and sometimes late at night! Not too long ago, I felt more queasy than I’ve been before and I whined a little, and DH said “you don’t handle feeling sick very well, do you?” That made me reflect that’s it’s probably a good job I have not had severe sickness 😂

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 10/09/2020 23:14

@Mrs1989

I wish i'd discovered this thread weeks ago! I had a quick flick through before from page 1 and i was like oo that's familiar.. yep.. that too!!

Mrs1989 · 10/09/2020 23:21

@Oldermum80 I completely get where you’re coming from with that. Thinking that way has felt safer for the past few months, but I’m really hoping I can start to feel a bit more optimistic after the upcoming scan and more “well you thought it would end up like this and it didn’t, so there’s every reason to think it’s ok now”. I have a feeling though that it will be when my belly starts to grow that I start to feel like it’s more real! At the moment, I just look slightly bloated, like I’ve been on the cheese and biscuits (oh, wait, I have! 😂) xxx

Mrs1989 · 10/09/2020 23:25

@Wavescrashingonthebeach i have appreciated talking to the ladies on here so much as I haven’t told family yet. It’s helped me to understand that there are lots of random and wacky symptoms in early pregnancy and women have different experiences, but usually there will be a couple who are experiencing something similar and it can help to reassure you!
