Hey all!
Sorry to hear some of you are having rough nights that's crap!
Just to let you all know Wyatt has been moved to a low-dependency unit and it's doing really well.
He's in a crib now as well not in his incubator so we can cuddle him a lot and can change his nappies and clothes when we go so we are more involved.
The hospital are just amazing!

Hope you all get enjoy the third tremester a bit more when you go on your leaves etc. ❤️💙

Kj1010 · 01/10/2020 20:21

@nearlyamummyof2boys that's fantastic news so glad for you x

Babyhope98 · 01/10/2020 21:18

So lovely to hear baby Wyatt is going from strength to strength 🥰 @nearlyamummyof2boys

kkr168 · 01/10/2020 21:41

That's amazing news @nearlyamummyof2boys

danielasummer · 01/10/2020 21:52

@nearlyamummyof2boys that's great news, I've been wondering how you both are! Hope Wyatt continues to go from strength to strength! X

danielasummer · 01/10/2020 21:53

Is anyone else suffering from intense heartburn? To the point where they feel like they will be sick, belching loads (sorry!), mainly in the evening?

Jwl45 · 02/10/2020 00:39

@nearlyamummyof2boys wonderful news xx

MrsSmith2020 · 02/10/2020 05:51

@nearlyamummyof2boys that's amazing progress. You'll be together at home before you know it x

peachypetite · 02/10/2020 07:36

@danielasummer that sounds horrible! I’ve only had it a couple of times but not recently thankfully.
@nearlyamummyof2boys so pleased to hear your news.

Babyhope98 · 02/10/2020 07:41

@danielasummer my heartburn was awful I use to have such a bad pain in my chest but gaviscon didn’t help in the end. I was prescribed omeprazole from my doctors which have been a lifesaver as my heartburn was just constant x

Kj1010 · 02/10/2020 08:00

@danielasummer yes mine has reared its ugly head again and nothing seems to help it at the moment grrr

peachypetite · 02/10/2020 08:51

Is anyone else starting to nest? I can’t wait to finish work (just three weeks to go) and organise my house more!

lionsmum · 02/10/2020 09:13

@nearlyamummyof2boys how wonderful I'm so glad everything is moving forward with his progression, a little fighter for sure! Hope you are feeling good and loving all of the cuddles (secretly envious you have this! can't wait)😍

@danielasummer me! my nausea is getting quite bad too, it doesn't matter what I eat it doesn't seem to have an effect on it, and the burping too... the 3rd tri really isn't the most glamorous🥴

@peachypetite I feel mine setting in too, wanting to get everything organised but also don't want to get too ahead of myself, only 5 weeks to go but my anxiety is only getting worse with regards to actually being able to bring this little one home! You'll be so glad to get finished up soon😊

confused107 · 02/10/2020 11:55

@nearlyamummyof2boys so pleased to hear your news. Hopefully not long until you are all together in your lovely new home

I had a midwife appointment today all fine apart from the fact I'm measuring 29 weeks at 31 weeks. I am going for a growth scan next Friday anyway as I was told early in I had two risk factors for a small baby (age and IVF) so she has told me not to worry about it. A week now seems a long time to wait. I know a few people on here have had issues with not measuring right, but of course I'm am worried and have already started the dreaded googling....

Babyhope98 · 02/10/2020 16:50

Stressful day I forgot my notes and had to go home come back and my house isn’t close to the hospital so took me ages, but good news baby looks good just under 90th centile and approx 4 and a half pounds I’m 32 weeks tomorrow 💖

Kj1010 · 02/10/2020 17:13

I'm looking forward to my scan finally on tuesday but also scared at same time lol today have had a uncomfortable stomach and my womb I've got like mild period pain keeping an eye baby moving but am wondering if it is him getting bigger as they say baby puts weight on in third trimester and sometimes wen he moves its uncomfortable

confused107 · 02/10/2020 17:19

That's brilliant news @Babyhope98. I hope my result is good next week. Sorry but can you remind me what you were measuring?

@Kj1010 the whole this is such a worry isn't it. Definitely call the maternity triage if you are worried

Kj1010 · 02/10/2020 17:22

@confused107 I'm not worried as such as he moving a lot it's just a shock when u have no pains aches etc then all of a sudden u do cant win either way lol

Babyhope98 · 02/10/2020 17:38

I was measuring below the 10th centile it was 29 from my midwife measurements on my stomach @confused107 I’m sure yours will be fine it seems like most that have had it on here have had good baby measurements from scan x

peachypetite · 02/10/2020 18:07

Sorry some of you are worried about growth. Know it’s hard but try not to google! It always seems to bring up the worst case scenario.
I have my scan in a couple of weeks to find out if my low lying placenta has moved up, anyone else in the same position?

BG1234 · 02/10/2020 19:08

@Kj1010 I’ve had really low period type cramps too. It’s hard to know what’s normal and what isn’t!

Kj1010 · 02/10/2020 19:17

@BG1234 yes it is mine have stopped but I have this ache round my side now but I did have my injection there a little while ago so could be that the bubba is moving so I'm not to concerned at moment will just see how it goes but we are gonna get aches and pains from growing stretching etc suppose we just have to trust our instincts

Snowwhite2020 · 02/10/2020 19:19

Hey girls, sorry I’ve not been on much. Just been getting my head down and getting through the rest Of the pregnancy! I agree with @peachypetite that the first 1-18 weeks or so we’re the hardest for me due to nausea, ongoing sickness and feeling rubbish but the heartburn and lack of sleep now isn’t a huge amount of fun lol.

@nearlyamummyof2boys delighted to log on and read baby Wyatt had been born safely! What troopers you and he are! Congratulations and enjoy every minute!

Shout out to @NaomiB79 my fellow measuring big bump! I have another growth scan next week so will keep you post Naomi! How are you feeling? Have you had any further scans and what’s the verdict been?

I have packed a hospital bag and someone gave me a tip to buy organiser bags- to separate out stuff for baby, stuff for breastfeeding and clothes for me plus one for toiletries. Keeps it all nice and tidy and should stop me from emptying the entire contents of a big bag when looking for one little thing! They were called pacing cubes and got them on amazon for £12- would recommend!

Have packed everything except stuff
For me... can’t decide if nightie or PJS!? Anyone got any ideas or any good links to some that would work well for hospital and be comfy for breastfeeding etc
Love to all- we’re getting there girls! Xx

Same as you with the period type pains, even have the pms to go with it 🤦🏼‍♀️
