I have a large 12ft pillow as well, it's so comfy. I don't stay on my left side all night, I do roll from side to side. I think as long as you're not on your front or back it's ok. The left side is preferred but it's ok to switch it up.

@jojanna I wouldn't worry about baby being breech, there is still time to turn. My friend was 38 weeks pregnant and baby was breech, she was preparing herself for needing a c-section but it turned and she gave birth naturally.

peachypetite · 26/09/2020 14:20

I switch sides too. The pillow makes it much harder for me to roll onto my back too.

EithneBlue · 26/09/2020 14:45

@peachypetite - I have the same pillow but keep throwing it out of bed in my sleep and waking up on my back 😂 I spend half the night putting myself back into the correct position I think!

danielasummer · 26/09/2020 16:18

Is anyone going to cloth nappy? I am but I'm finding it all quite overwhelming!

@nearlyamummyof2boys how are you and Wyatt getting on? x

nearlyamummyof2boys · 26/09/2020 16:42

Hey guys me and Wyatt are doing really well.
I came out the hospital the day after I gave birth and moved into my new house - very stressful and emotional but super happy now!

Wyatt is doing amazing he's a little fighter he's on milk already which I'm pumping for him and he's off all his other drips and we can take him out of his little incubator and hold him ❤️

EithneBlue · 26/09/2020 16:49

@danielasummer I'm going to be using cloth - the only people who have been negative about it are people who used disposables (go figure LOL) -- everyone I know who uses cloth likes it. Which brand have you gone for?

danielasummer · 26/09/2020 17:11

@EithneBlue I've heard the same! 100% clothing though. I'm not sure, what are you going for? I'm going to use wraps of some sort then use prefolds as inserts. What are you planning on?

@nearlyamummyof2boys so glad to hear you're both doing well! Gosh on top of everything you've managed a move as well, you really are superwoman, sending you continued strength and well-wishes for you and baby Wyatt!!

Amyyy1 · 26/09/2020 17:15

@nearlyamummyof2boys Thanks for updating us all, sounds like BOTH you and Wyatt are warriors and are doing amazing. So pleased for you Thanks

If anyone's got a big Asda near them, they've started getting in some lovely winter baby clothes, I picked up lots today😁

Babyhope98 · 26/09/2020 17:21

@nearlyamummyof2boys glad you are both well 💙

EithneBlue · 26/09/2020 17:40

@danielasummer - I've got most of mine from ebay/gumtree. I have the newborn peenut nappies from tots bots and then the Little Lamb nappies & wraps -- looking at them all though I think I am going to prefer the tots bots so may buy some of those too :-)

NaomiB79 · 26/09/2020 17:49

@nearlyamummyof2boys so glad you are both doing so well! What a week you've had giving birth and moving house! I really hope the next few months are much calmer for you and you can relax a bit (well as much as you can with a new born) and little Wyatt gets out of hospital soon so you can all be home together. You are both fighters that's for sure. Take care x

Kj1010 · 26/09/2020 17:55

Lovely to hear @nearlyamummyof2boys that use both are doing so well well I defo have a full blown cold suffering badly with blocked nose been pharmacy can only use Jake's honey menthols and this spray for nose which is ok but not brilliant well hoping that this is it and that I wont get a cold in oct nov time

excitednerves · 26/09/2020 20:10

Wow @nearlyamummyof2boys Wyatt is doing incredibly well. What a little superhero! And you are doing just amazingly. X

loobeelou · 26/09/2020 21:53

Glad to hear you and Wyatt are doing well @nearlyamummyof2boys.

@Kj1010 I hope you're feeling better soon, it's horrible having a cold when you're pregnant and you can't take anything. I had a one a few weeks ago (courtesy of my 2 year old) and 'self medicated' on hot water, honey and lemon and a sinex inhaler stick 😂 Vicks vapour rub was a lifesaver at night for blocked nose, as was olbas oil on the pillow!

Kj1010 · 26/09/2020 21:57

@loobeelou was told cant use vicks vapour rub dunno why

peachypetite · 27/09/2020 07:16

@nearlyamummyof2boys Wyatt sounds like he is doing very well. Can’t believe you’ve just moved too, what a whirlwind of everything! Going pram and car seat shopping today.

danielasummer · 27/09/2020 10:32

@EithneBlue I'm having no such luck on ebay/gumtree but glad you found some on there. I've just bought 2 newborn OneLife wraps on facebook marketplace so feel like I'm slowly getting somewhere! Will definitely look into Tots Bots Peenut wraps.. thank you! Are we mad doing reusables haha?!

EithneBlue · 27/09/2020 11:06

@danielasummer - try searching brand specific on ebay: you get more results. "Tots Bots Newborn" "Tots Bots Peenut" "Little Lamb Size 1" are all searches that worked for me :)
Haha nah - I don't think it's going to be that challenging - but I'm already the sort of person who doesn't use paper kitchen towel so maybe I'm just a hippie ;)

danielasummer · 27/09/2020 11:17

@EithneBlue thank you, will try that!
Oh me too, reusable cleaning cloths, period cup, beeswax wraps.. I'm sure we'd have a lot in common!

danielasummer · 27/09/2020 15:46

If anyone is planning on using reusable cloth wipes, Cheeky Wipes have £10 off their kits at the moment and I can vouch for their softness and quality as I bought a kit a few months ago :)

Babyhope98 · 27/09/2020 17:16

Has anyone had the flu jab? I booked mine ages ago went in there today for my appointment they said someone should have contacted me as they’re person who administers them is not in. She said can we reschedule until after the 19th of October!! I said no as I booked this ages ago. She said she was going to do it Wednesday and now has left a voicemail saying they can’t until after the 19th as there is a shortage when I booked it ages ago so mine should have been accounted for so annoyed!! 🧐

Kj1010 · 27/09/2020 17:58
