@TerribleImagination oh god the drink is like a more discusting version of a Capri sun I'm afraid. You will find most of the other people having it are fairly overweight so you you too will feel like it's probably a box ticking exercise, which although is incredibly important to check for, when you know the outcome will be favourable the suffering is somewhat harder to endure. It really is just a day by I really found it hard, the drive over makes you feel fairly queasy and then the blood tests, especially if your blood pressure is low, which your may be too as your BMI is healthy ect, makes you feel quite lightheaded, then the waiting where trust me, just close your eyes and dream of sandwiches! Dont worry about pretending to be ok if you do feel a bit rotten, the midwives and nurses all understand it's a bit of an endurance. And take food for afterwards, you immediately feel incredible once you've eaten it, it is magic and you do get a glimpse into what it would be like for women pregnant the world over who don't have enough to eat. Women go through so much in this world, this test really is absolutely fine, but you know exactly what it's like when you feel sick, you just feel so horrible you have no perspective in the moment. Hopefully you'll be able to sleep when you get home, that definitely helped as it's usually done around 8-30/9 in the morning.
Amazing to have your partner felt movement ☺️ it's magic isn't it 🥰
@SunnySideUp2020 that's so lovely to read, your such a kind and open hearted person and I'm sorry that I worried you, or anyone. I honestly promise I would never disappear even of something bad did happen, even if it was just to post a small update. Im also nearly 29 weeks now which is full term for me so I am probably going to sometimes have a week off here and there when I'm just being massive and lazy. I have a scan with the fetal people next Monday so hopefully all fluid is back to normal, or my consultant said they could always actually be in the same sack and it was missed 🤯. Just don't ask how that's possible, we've decided not to think about it, I mean how!!
I still worry every time I update the list about the poster who never came back, I advanced searched her and she hasn't posted for months so she may have had another loss and then changed her username.
@Annny27 we need and want to keep up with your too! You will always be our other leader 🙏🥰 remember I said months ago 'we'll follow you wherever you go' well it's still true and when we've got these babies and you are inevitably pregnant, we will be jealous of your baby planning, your growing bump and the anticipation of the coming baby. We are all at different stages and it doesn't matter one bit, this is a women's support group as much as anything else! The baby part is secondary to that, always is for me anyway. You'll get there, you have every chance each month but luck of the odds has made you one of the women who take a few months longer, but you are going to get pregnant this year, it will happen 💕
