@Ejb86, hope you're soon on the mend. X

Last scan today, next time I see his face it won't be on a scan photo

Whiffle77 · 21/10/2020 18:09

Eeeee @BS9790 that is a very exciting thing to be able to say! Hope your scan goes ok, sorry he has been keeping you so worried. It won't be long now, you can do it Smile

Sorry you twin mums are struggling too @ChampooPapi and @MilsCookie. Im feeling very uncomfortable too with just the one so you have my sympathies. Pregnancy is just so flipping long isnt it?! Im very grateful and hope they stay put a few weeks longer but gosh I am over it now...

Sorry you are feeling so rough @Ejb86 thats very unfair. Just rest up as much as you can and don't feel guilty about it, make sure all your energy is going on getting better!

Good luck for your scan @Babyghirl, not long to wait now.

That list looks great now, so many names in such late figures 💞💞 thank you for updating it champoo!

Whiffle77 · 21/10/2020 18:10

And good luck @FireflyGirl, hopefully not too long for you now! Hope time doesn't drag too much for you

Babyghirl · 21/10/2020 18:26

@whiffle77
Thank you I'm prepared for the worst it's hard not to be after 2 losses but hoping all is good. But I have had a few spots of pink blood and I mean needle size spots not on my underwear but when I'm wiping with tp

ChampooPapi · 21/10/2020 19:34

@SunnySideUp2020 well I've just had two different c section dates through the post, one on the 4th and one on the 6th of November. So I'm getting a little nervous they are planning on doing one twin on the 4th and one on the 6th 😂

Also I've got my pre opp consultation and CTG monitoring on the 30th of November 🤦 well that will be hard when the babies will be nearly 4 weeks old by then!

It's all probably bets ignored I'd say because they were fairly certain of taking them out around the 30th/31st, so could be Halloween babies now instead of bonfire night ones.

They will of course be dressed at the twins from the shining at some point 🙏

ChampooPapi · 21/10/2020 19:35

But not this year obviously!

ChampooPapi · 21/10/2020 19:46

Also my letters say to self isolate for two weeks before your section, assume this is the same if you have a planned induction, just to let anyone else know

Whiffle77 · 21/10/2020 20:35

We were planning on isolating from 37 weeks anyway just in case @ChampooPapi, I cant bear the thought of DH missing the birth!

Had to laugh at all your different dates but thats incredibly infuriating!! I cant wait to put some ridiculous Christmas outfits on mine Smile

ChampooPapi · 21/10/2020 21:32

@Whiffle77 oh my god yes, can you imagine our other halfs missing the births?! It doesn't bare thinking about really after all the struggles of loss and the then getting through our pregnancies this time, that is the golden light isn't it at the end of the tunnel, that they can be there and we can share that precious time together, even if they have to leave afterwards, we need them there sharing every part of it and supporting us as well. I need a hand hold quite frankly on D day too from someone I actually recognise!

Also yay to elf costume baby grows 🎄

MilsCookie · 21/10/2020 23:16

Thank you @SunnySideUp2020 and @Whiffle77!! 😘 and thanks @AlviesMam and @mlax for the pre-eclampsia reassurance!!

@Ejb86 so sorry you're having a rough time... take all the time you need to recover and don't feel guilty about it. Sending hugs 😘

@Babyghirl good luck with your scan tomorrow, will be thinking of you! How many weeks are you now?

@ChampooPapi such a great idea dressing the twins as the girls from the shining! 🤣

Had my 29 week scan today... things still looking okay and on track for 32 weeks 🙏🤞🏻

Whiffle77 · 22/10/2020 11:44

Oh yes @ChampooPapi that is perfect!! 😍

Fab news for you too @MilsCookie, your little ones will be here before mine! Not long at all 😍😍

Babyghirl · 22/10/2020 14:06

Well going through my 3rd miscarriage don't think I was put on this earth to carry a babes heart broke but I'm a pro at this now I will get there girls xx

Leok83 · 22/10/2020 14:11

Oh no @Babyghirl, I'm so so sorry to hear this. Heartbroken for you. 💔xx

Babyghirl · 22/10/2020 14:20

@leok83
Thank you I'm just drained my 3rd miscarriage 4th if you include the Cp I had aswell feel like giving up at 37 I think my time has passed me. Just waiting on nature doing its job nw bleeding is starting but just the brown blood for nw can't wait to its all over xx

Leok83 · 22/10/2020 14:52

@Babyghirl that's so so tough on you. It's so hard to go through once never mind over again and over. Have you had tests yet for recurrent MC? I'm 37 too and this is my 1st so don't lose hope just because of your age, and there's plenty older than us who have easy successful pregnancies. (My mum even had me at 40). I got tests done privately for recurrent MC and they never assumed my age was the reason. Nothing was found thankfully but that helped me knowing that for this pregnancy. Still got progesterone and aspirin prescribed as precaution. Be kind to yourself as much as you can and take time to grieve. 💜xx

Babyghirl · 22/10/2020 15:03

@leok83
I was at a fertility clinic only got hormone bloods done dp got a sperm test done got results just when I found out I was pregnant again. But now I'm a rcmer I will have more in death tests done to rule out everything. I believe I have low progesterone but doc would not give me them when I found out I was pregnant again I had it tested one cycle on 21 day bloods and it was only 16.1 so hoping nw I'm in the hands of a fertility specialist he will throw everything at me next time around xx

MilsCookie · 22/10/2020 19:13

@Babyghirl oh my goodness I am so, so sorry. I can't even imagine the heartache of going through another loss. Please don't give up. Now you've had 3 they have to listen to you and give you some more help. Take all the time you need and be kind to yourself. You and your partner are a team so please don't feel like anyone is to blame and especially don't feel like it's your fault. Sending big hugs and we're always here for you 💜 xxxx

Babyghirl · 22/10/2020 19:44

@milscookie
Thank you for your kind words doc is going to get in touch with the fertility consultant tomara and let him know what has happened. He said he was keeping us on his list until we got out off the danger zone so hoping we won't be waiting long for an app xxx

Leok83 · 22/10/2020 19:50

@Babyghirl it's terrible it takes as many losses as you have suffered but at least when the time is right for you to try again if you do you should be much better looked after. I had a range of bloods done covering thyroid antibodies, tests to ensure no clotting disorders, lupus and both me and DH had karyotypying done also. I imagine you should be able to get these tests done and especially now. I never actually had progesterone measured but they still gave it as precaution (Aswell as the aspirin as even if tests are negative there's still possibility of false negatives on the tests). Difference is here I pay for progesterone and it's expensive so doctors probably prescribe it more because of that but I think in the uk it's under NHS so they don't hand it out so willingly ( I could be wrong but saw on another forum another lady who was having difficulty getting it prescribed after recurrent MC for that reason) but I'd say you should definitely push for it now if they weren't to give it to you willingly but I'd say they will. I really wish we could make it easier for you right now but I know nothing will probably help during these first few gut wrenching weeks. We're here for you if you need to talk. Big hugs💜xx

Babyghirl · 22/10/2020 20:07

@leok83
I think it's awful people have to go through 3 losses before anything is done about it tbh. Im torn to weather to try one more time before giving up or just give up I'm just drained 3 years now off trying and y only thing I have to show for it is a few angel stuff around the house and a broken heart. Xxx

ChampooPapi · 22/10/2020 21:30

@Babyghirl I'm so sorry this has happened to you again. I hope your being looked after really well at home. It is heartbreaking, its just so unfair this has happened to you again 😞

scrumdiddly123 · 22/10/2020 22:35

So sorry @Babyghirl, that’s so heartbreaking 😔 please don’t give up hope though! I was in your shoes 6 months ago, going through my 3rd loss and close to saying enough was enough but now I’m so lucky to be expecting my rainbow 🌈 good that you’re in the system already and hopefully they will see you again quickly and really look after you! Take care xxx

AlviesMam · 22/10/2020 22:51

@Babyghirl So sorry to hear this Sad 37 is still a great age don't be hard on yourself. If you have the strength keep pushing for help they will look after you and get to the bottom of your losses. There are lots of women who have babies at your age if not 40+! Sending you a hug xxx

Whiffle77 · 23/10/2020 07:34

So sorry for your loss @Babyghirl, please dont make any big decisions about ttc whilst you are still hurting - just give yourself some time out to heal first and then see how you feel.
