Hi Ladies, just setting up a new thread as we're almost at the end of the current one. Let's move over when it's full.

@Ejb86 hope your goes well too x

FireflyGirl · 19/10/2020 09:40

Beautiful photos, @TerribleImagination.

I'm a bit jealous; my 3D ones aren't very good because there was a lot of 'article's (umbilical cord, to us normal people!) in the way, and she constantly had either one or both hands in front of her face, and occasionally a foot!

I was told that at 30 weeks I was at the higher end of what they recommend, and it gets more difficult to get decent images after that as they have less room.

Flowers @AlviesMam. We have the Next2Me up, but it's out of the way on DH's side of the bed (he has been sleeping in the spare room so we don't disturb each other). We'll move it when we need it.

Tomorrow, this baby will have reached the same gestation as DS when he was born, and I am more than ready to not be pregnant any more. I have to take paracetamol before bed to get any sleep because of the pain in my hips. It's a vicious cycle - the pain wakes me up, then I need to pee, then I can't get back over, finally do and the pain wakes me up again!

@Kel1111 it looks like they've bled due to too much liquid, but I can't see a second line. If you make your own thread on pregnancy you'll get more opinions - people on there can often see lines I can't.

FireflyGirl · 19/10/2020 09:42

Aw, that's great @SunnySideUp2020! 💕 Love a good scan photo! Let's hope she stays chilled Wink

Good luck @Ejb86 Flowers

MilsCookie · 19/10/2020 10:00

Gorgeous scan photos @SunnySideUp2020 - you can really see her!! I'm so thrilled for you that it's all going well.

@AlviesMam thinking of you xxxx

@Ejb86 good luck with your scan too! Hope it all goes well xx

@FireflyGirl you poor thing, I know how you feel. I'm SO uncomfortable as well. Hopefully this baby will make their appearance soon!!

AlviesMam · 19/10/2020 12:25

Thank you ❤️
Can't believe it's been one whole year x

SunnySideUp2020 · 19/10/2020 14:40

@AlviesMam

Ejb86 · 19/10/2020 14:46

@AlviesMam thinking of you.

All good at the scan. Another anterior placenta here, which explains a lot!

Everything was fine with baby. Placenta may be slightly low, so I have yet another scan booked in for 32 weeks. I have so far 28,31,32,34,37 weeks. I am glad it means I get extra views of our little lady. Not the best of photos of her, but hey ho.

So happy for you @SunnySideUp2020 ❤️ absolutely thrilled in fact! It's such a relief for you, I know the feeling well, your having a baby! Yippie! 🌈🎇🥰

@Ejb86 amazing news 💜 it's a lovely scan picture because it's yours, your beautiful rainbow baby, so pleased for you. Rainbows 🌈💖

ChampooPapi · 19/10/2020 16:05

@FireflyGirl nearly there girl 🙌🥰

ChampooPapi · 19/10/2020 16:05

@MilsCookie how are you coping your end lovely?

@mlax and how are you doing? You ok?

SunnySideUp2020 · 19/10/2020 16:09

@Ejb86
Welcome to anterior placenta club!
And glad your scan went well!
What date is your next one then?
The photo is a little blurry but we can really see your little rainbow there ❤ it's lovely !!

ChampooPapi · 19/10/2020 16:14

@SunnySideUp2020 it's got to the point where I'm not getting nervous FOR you about your upcoming nuptials 😆

We were supposed to do ours back in April but it was cancelled due to the thing that we shall not name (😷). It's rebooked for February so 🤞

mlax · 19/10/2020 16:37

Sorry I've been so quite ladies! I have been reading everyone's updates but find it so hard to reply I don't know who to start with and don't want to feel ignorant towards anyone!!

I'm ok though thank you @ChampooPapi I had my 20 week scan on Thursday and my little Mr sure kicks away at me now. Actually just saw him ever so slightly on the outside 🥺 very very small but. I saw that you've got your c section date through and you must be relieved as well! Can't believe how many rainbows will be born very soon. I'm so excited for everyone 💙💗🌈

Realised I made a typo, that was obviously supposed to say quiet*!!!!

ChampooPapi · 19/10/2020 17:30

@mlax it's really good to hear from you, so pleased everything is ticking along well and you've had your twenty week scan! That's epic 🌈🙌

There's no pressure on this thread, it's always ok not to respond and to just do you, and it is impossible to reply to everyone , it would be a full time job! Some of us are on maternity leave or not working so we can also come on a lot more anyway, but just so good to know everything is ok your end of things

scrumdiddly123 · 19/10/2020 18:57

Thinking of you @AlviesMam 💖
Great scan pictures @SunnySideUp2020 @Ejb86 and @mlax! I also feel the same re: not knowing where to start with replying to people!
Everything ticking along nicely with me. I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday which was amazing 😍 nothing quite like it! Can’t believe how quick it’s going now x

Whiffle77 · 19/10/2020 18:59

Lots of great scan news to catch up on, so pleased for you @SunnySideUp2020 @Ejb86 and @mlax. Its always such a relief to have a positive scan.

Lots of love to you @AlviesMam xxx

Ahhh @FireflyGirl not long at all for you to go now! Fingers crossed this last bit of time isn't too uncomfortable, I feel for you!! There is light at the end of the tunnel at least.

I started my handover properly at work today which feels a relief, last week was one of the most stressful in a long time. Im also not sleeping well which doesn't help, I will be pleased to finish. Altho having some work on the house done whilst I am 36 and 37 weeks which is giving me anxiety!! Its been so delayed though, and its now or next year really, and we can't bear to wait 😬

scrumdiddly123 · 19/10/2020 19:00

Oh and thank you @TerribleImagination @MilsCookie @SunnySideUp2020 for the moisturiser recommendations! I completely forgot about the palmers stuff, I’ve used that in all my pregnancies and love it! 6 years since I was last pregnant and I’ve seriously forgotten everything! 🤦‍♀️
Will pick some up this week ☺️ Hope you are all well xx

AlviesMam · 19/10/2020 19:08

Lovely scan photo @Ejb86 & @mlax 🥰❤️

Thanks for thinking of me everyone this group is amazing ❤️

I'm getting really bad anxiety on an evening thinking about child birth, I feel sick and feel like crying and trying to push the negative horror stories out my head. Can anyone help me feel positive please?

AlviesMam · 19/10/2020 19:09

Sorry to ask I just don't know who to turn to. Every evening I'm alone with my own thoughts freaking out. No one understands me and with me being so close I just want her here now, the suspense of how my birth is going to go is getting to much. During the day I'm fine it's just on a night. X

Ejb86 · 19/10/2020 21:25

Oh @AlviesMam it is so understandable. It is all so close now, she'll be here before you know it. You've been through so much, it is completely normal that the unknown is difficult for you. Is there anything you can do to take back a bit of control? Have you accessed any support from a mental health midwife at all?

Whiffle77 · 19/10/2020 21:35

Its easy to let your brain run away with you @AlviesMam - I've just finished reading the positive birth book, which does it exactly what it says...it talks about all the positive side of childbirth rather than the horror stories you usually hear. Maybe try reading that? It certainly can't do any harm, and there are lots of resources in the back for further reading/things to help. I found it really positive 💞 its the unknown I am afraid of too, and this really helped

Whiffle77 · 19/10/2020 21:36

Plus remember everything always seems worse at night!! Every night done is another step closer to meeting her
