@Ejb86 I had it in May and completely lost my sense of taste and smell. It started to come back gradually from 2 weeks. Fingers crossed yours comes back soon as it's so horrible not being able to smell or taste anything.

@BecsterG thank you. I'm lucky in that I can taste. But there's no better smell than that of your baby and I'll be devastated if I miss it.

@ChampooPapi I hear ya! I’ve only been back in work a week and a half and I’m already counting down the weeks to mat leave 😂 I’ll be in single figures from Monday, whooop whoooop!

What’s everyone got planned for the weekend? We’ve got our 3D scan on Sunday! 😍 I can’t wait to see baby girl’s little face! Getting the nursery flooring hopefully finished tomorrow too, which is exciting!

@TerribleImagination oh how exciting! Can you share a picture of the 3d scan maybe 😬 ?
Always wonder if they are worth it!

I am finishing up preparing for wedding next Sunday and get the house ready for my sister's arrival on Monday :)
And obviously counting down days until scan monday morning!

Of course @SunnySideUp2020 😍 I hope we get some good pics! They do a video too, so hopefully she’s her usual wriggly self 😂

Yes very pleased its Friday!! This week at work has been awful - only three weeks to go, this week has been so stressful.

I have a baby academy course this weekend but other than that not a lot, very boring! I've not slept this week so hoping to sleep a bit more too.

I've been feeling emotional the last few days too... with it being baby loss awareness week and then just watched a programme on catch up channel 5, 'Miscarriage: Our Story'... was in floods within the first 30 seconds of watching it! Even though we're now pregnant the heartbreak of miscarriage will never go away... I will never forget my first baby . I also just keep thinking that this time last year I was pregnant and so happy and had no idea of the trauma that was awaiting me at the 12 week scan. It's gonna be tough when it comes round to the anniversary of losing him/her. I'm basically in tears now typing this... I just don't think it will ever go away!

@TerribleImagination yes pleeeeeease share a photo from your 3D scan! I was contemplating getting one but decided against it in the end as we have so many ultrasounds!

Csection date is booked, 13 days to go 😬

Consultant sent me for monitoring as was having cramps whilst in with him this morning, baby was going nuts for first minute and his heart rate was 210! Then he did nothing and I was on there for an hour before the criteria was met 🙄🙄

His movements feel really different today, I wonder if he's getting ready for his arrival... Little does he know he's coming out the sun roof! 🤣

@MilsCookie I seen that advertised I'm going to catch up on it today. Although I know I'll be in tears. it's okay to have emotional days, nearly every day is one for me. Sending you a big hug xxx

It's hard because I became so involved in baby loss awareness week but at the same time when your pregnant you feel you don't want to be seeing the campaigns etc.

@BS9790 great news! I am so so excited for you... I have rang up today because baby seems to have hiccups three days in a row, she's still moving but I panicked after googling... midwife said it's normal. Her movement feels more like pushes and rolls now and I have to really concentrate but still feel her everyday I think I'm overthinking but because I'm so close it's getting me down, midwife said it's because she has less room and to move and to come in if I feel unhappy but she is moving and I don't think I feel unhappy with her movements I just feel like I'm overthinking 😔

@AlviesMam, yes I have to concentrate to feel movements now but they are very regular. Today's are less regular but feel like bigger movements.

Ohh hiccups, I made the mistake of googling this too and worrying!! 🙈My baby gets them about 4 or 5 times a day now for the past few weeks...all normal though apparently!

@BS9790 that makes me feel better! I kind of have to put my hand on my stomach to get her to push back now lol and some movement feels like internal bubbles as though she's really cramped!

Just picked my pram up and feel like crying lol

Pelvic pressure is unbelievable like she needs to not go over 40 weeks!!! X

@TerribleImagination yes definitely update up with a photo! We are seriously lacking in our scan photos now, mumma needs a hit! Thank god your nearly finished, I don't know how your doing it, you are going to be on heaven when your done. Bet your looking forward to a lovely cosy Christmas too 🤗

@BS9790 that's reasurring, and exciting that you've less then two weeks to go, last two weekends! Do you feel prepared home wise?

@ChampooPapi, yes feel prepared with everything at home. Just might have to buy some more babygrows, as with no visitors allowed I'll need to take more to hospital so might not have many clean ones left when I get home!

That, and try to get the (usually very calm, placid) dog to stop biting the toys on the babies bouncer 🙈

@ChampooPapi I'd recommend taking quite a few. I took 3 for Jude and only went home that night with one clean one.
