Congratulations @Leok83! It does make it all more real, doesn't it?
@BS9790 DS was really long, although his was his torso as much as his legs. If you do end up with him in footless sleepsuits, either put tights underneath, or socks with these to stop you constantly losing them!
@BecsterG would love to see a photo, I'll check the FB page.
@ChampooPapi you've got to make the best decision for you based on the information available. It's not as though you've been ignoring the possibility; you've made a decision based on the risks as you've been advised.
I'm very over being pregnant now. I'm physically and mentally exhausted, haven't slept properly in months and haven't felt like eating much the last few days.
I've also been getting a lot of cramps, although it's difficult to say if they're early indicators or just pressure on my bowels
Do you think you're close @AlviesMam?
I've changed my hospital bag from a rucksack to a cabin bag, as DH likely won't be able to come in to hospital to carry it for me at first. It's sorted into those 'packing cubes' for labour/after birth/washing and freshening up. Then I've filled the rucksack with snacks and more clothes for me and baby to leave in the car, just in case we have to stay in.
I was out of it after 18 hours in labour and an emcs just before midnight last time. DH changed DS when he came in the next morning while I slept (and sorted the meconium poo!) and I woke up to my beautiful new baby wearing the most god awful mismatched outfit you've ever seen as he'd panicked and just grabbed anything he could find from the drawers at home, ignoring all the outfits I had lovingly packed. Lesson learned, spare outfits are now prominent in the changing bag, with a nappy, vest, sleepsuit and hat in individual ziplock bags!
