@Mercuryfreddie you've had an awful day, I'd say you're so stressed. Just a few hours now and you'll have your scan, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow 💓

chloxhunt · 02/09/2020 23:09

@Mercuryfreddie I'm sure everything will be fine!

SnickerdoodleSnek · 02/09/2020 23:45

Fingers crossed for you @Mercuryfreddie ❤️ hope everything works out okay! Not long until your scan now.

spierse · 03/09/2020 02:05

@Mercuryfreddie thinking of you xx praying for a good scan in the morning, can understand how stressful that is. Sending positive thoughts your way that all will be fine.

LuHen · 03/09/2020 04:22

@Mercuryfreddie thinking of you and sending you some strength for your scan this morning, keep positive.

I'm in the Berkshire area and would be up for FB group too once we've had our scan next week.

I've literally lost all my symptoms and haven't been sick once, apart from feeling full in the evening after no food, usually im a bottomless pit! Keeping positive and just hoping I'm lucky as I'm generally never a sick person - think I've actually got a bit of a fear of it deep down Blush

I've also done the opposite of all you sensible people and bought loads of stuff! Co sleeper, cloth nappies, pram and moses basket. Its all second hand and some of it people gave to me for free off marketplace on FB. Figured we absolutely want kids and so even if things didn't go to plan it will get used in the future anyways Smile

Best of luck to those having scans today. If you're into it maybe try some relaxation with your headphones on, i keep waking up at silly o'clock and it gets me back to sleep by playing by hypnobirthing tracks. What has life come too Wink

Thack · 03/09/2020 04:53

@LandMammal I'm Eastside. Nice to have a fellow Gog 🙂

@Mercuryfreddie there have been a few bleeds mentioned on here and all the advice I've read has said it can happen. Finger's crossed it's all normal for you. Good luck, try to keep strong.

Oldermum80 · 03/09/2020 06:22

Lovely to see positive scans from yesterday!

Good luck for today @DSP21 and @Sussexbysea.

I hope all is ok for you @Mercuryfreddie it’s such an anxious time even when everything’s going ok, but when you have past history or a scare, it’s so much more stressful.

I googled jellycat as I didn’t know what it was then was still unsure as there was no many different jellycat products. Love the rabbit teddy so if all is still ok at my dating scan, i’m going to order one 😍

I’m happy to have a Facebook group too! I can’t keep up with these threads and we go through them so quickly and it’s finding the new one each time 😂

DSP21 · 03/09/2020 06:36

Thank yoiu @Oldermum80 only 12 hours to go for me!

Anyone else symptomless and had their scans already with good news? I need something to keep me going!

Sussexbysea · 03/09/2020 06:40

Thanks @Oldermum80.

@DSP21 I really hope all is ok lovely. Mine is at 12, I’ll be sure to share the news either way.xx

ArtemisBean · 03/09/2020 07:02

So lovely to hear about all the scans! Good luck to everyone having them soon. Had mine last week and everything looks great, although baby is measuring a week ahead so it's going to be a whopper...eeek! I'd be up for a Facebook group too. I struggle to keep up with the thread and keep losing track of the conversation! 😂

ChilternsHan · 03/09/2020 07:03

@DSP21 me! I haven't had many symptoms throughout, and the few I did have, have mostly passed - my boobs aren't sore, the cramps I had from very early on have gone, and my aversion to salty snacks has passed (probably not great!).

I honestly felt so close to normal that I thought I'd imagined the whole thing, but baby was in there swimming around and they moved my due date 3 days ahead to 13 March.

Good luck to you, @Sussexbysea and @Mercuryfreddie today!

DSP21 · 03/09/2020 07:07

@ChilternsHan that's really reassuring to know. Right now I feel like i'm imagining it too!

LuHen · 03/09/2020 07:15

@DSP21 me too- and got to wait until next week Tues for my scan.

Mrs1989 · 03/09/2020 09:02

@DSP21 I haven’t had a great many symptoms and wondered if I could trust the two sticks I’d peed on! Was pretty shocked to see baby wriggling about and waving at us at my private scan at 9+5 (although measurements put baby a day ahead). Still, my 12 week scan and hopefully further reassurance can’t come soon enough! It’s on 14th Sept and time is dragging xxx

DSP21 · 03/09/2020 09:10

@Mrs1989 ahh we must not be too far apart, I'm 10+5 today. Glad to know it's not just me and all is well with you and baby. Hopefully if the scan goes well it'll make me feel less anxious for 12 weeks, I can't imagine getting to 12 weeks to be told baby hadn't gone past 8 weeks or so, I'd feel so horrible for being happy and excited all that time. It sounds like it happens all too often though which is why I couldn't help booking a priv scan!

chloxhunt · 03/09/2020 09:13

@DSP21 @Mrs1989 yeah I'd of hated waiting till 12 weeks I'm glad i had two emergency scans so I know everything's okay and I feel more at ease

DSP21 · 03/09/2020 09:39

@chloxhunt when will we be excited?!

chloxhunt · 03/09/2020 09:42

@DSP21 when we are holding our new born lol

LottieDot · 03/09/2020 09:48

@Mercuryfreddie Thinking of you, hope all is okay.

So pleased to hear so many positive 12 week scans, it's helping me with my anxiety knowing that lots of people who are worried and having less symptoms etc are still getting good news :) Not that I'm pleased other people are worried but I'm glad that I'm not alone in my anxiety.

@chloxhunt I said the same thing to my boss but they said once they're born you just worry about them even more haha.

1 week tomorrow until my 12 week and it can't come quick enough! I'd be happy to join a FB page after that.

chloxhunt · 03/09/2020 09:49

@LottieDot haha no way! Aww we have out 12 week on the same day!

Csj123 · 03/09/2020 09:50

Good luck to those having scans today, am thinking of you. It's been so lovely seeing all the recent scan pictures too!
My scan is tomorrow morning, I'm anxious and also excited but thankfully work is keeping me super busy to not think about it too much... I doubt I'll sleep much tonight though! My sickness is definitely lessening but it did around the 12 week mark with DS1 as well.
I'm in Bedfordshire, would be happy to join a facebook group too, x

JTB123 · 03/09/2020 10:13

IM 9+3 today and I'm just worried about my disAppearing symptoms 😭 no longer have constipation symptoms and no longer feel sick and I don't really feel very off food either 😩 my boobs are still fairly tender but just such a worry

JTB123 · 03/09/2020 10:16

Good luck to those having scans today and sending my love to @Mercuryfreddie xx

LottieDot · 03/09/2020 10:17

@chloxhunt Exciting! I think a few of us have it that day, mines at 11am whens yours?

@JTB123 Thats exactly when my symptoms started to disappear too, however I had a scan at 9+5 and all was well and from 9+ 6 they came back!! It is such a worry though.

DSP21 · 03/09/2020 10:23

@JTB123 I had/have the same worries and spoke to my gp about it. The epu fobbed me off and told me to just wait for my 12 week scan. I totally understand it's not urgent or necessary to follow up on 'lack of symptoms' but zero sympathy for a worried mum-to-be!
