I have a prescription for ferrous sulphate 2 x 200mg a day - can I still take pregnacare with these as they contain iron?

@Phie04 probably fine (given how little iron is in pregnacare), but best double check with whoever recommended the iron supplements.

Speaking of Pregnacare....which vits are you guys taking? I'm on Pregnacare max and I'm also being prescribed extra vit D and folic acid. I absolutely hate the omega-3 tablets though! I cannot swallow large pills well at all 😂

@SnickerdoodleSnek I'm on the pregnacare orginal, hate taking tablets and they are quite big

@holb54 horrendous aren't they?? I'm terrible with a lot of tablets!

I switched to max just to help my vit D and B12 levels (my B12 usually needs regulation with injections every few months), and everything else helps too. It's three tablets instead of one though, and they taste terrible! 😂 But I know they're worth it to keep baby healthy.

@SnickerdoodleSnek they're so hard to take as well on the nauseous days! Oh God I don't envy you 3 😂 exactly, they're a necessary evil 😂

@holb54 I hate them too! Why would you give someone who's being sick a massive ass tablet

@holb54 @chloxhunt Haha exactly! I'm usually not as nauseous after eating thankfully, but I give it a little while before taking them just so it doesn't make me feel horrendous afterwards!

How is everyone doing? I'm counting down the days til my scan! I know it's going to fly by once I'm back in school as the days always keep me busy, but it still feels an age away!

@SnickerdoodleSnek I went back to school on Wednesday and I am loving it. I’ve spent the holidays so anxious and being on my own it’s made it worse.
I’m good thank you, but I’ve been getting sharp stabbing pains on one side really low down which is worrying me. They make me grimace but hopefully nothing to worry about. I will feel better once I’ve had my dating scan.

@SnickerdoodleSnek although my class aren’t able to keep 2 metres away (I teach 6/7 year olds) and lots of adults keep coming into my classroom too! I had a day where I was freaking out but then no one knows I’m pregnant.
