Had a private scan today at 11+1 and have a happy little bub paddling around in there! I've been super anxious this past week so I'm feeling so much relief after that! I could have sat and watched bub all day! 😍

holb54 · 28/08/2020 18:37

@MrsAndMrs congrats on your scan, it's such a relief when you finally get to see them 💞

ChubbyMumFromSkye · 28/08/2020 18:43

@MrsAndMrs lovely scan! 💞🌟

@Sussexbysea and @Phie04 I too am jealous, like @Taylortyler every day at the moment seems to be worse than the previous one! 🤢

I discovered today that water biscuits are good for an "easy" nibble when everything makes you spew/nauseous but you need something.
I am going to try eating one as soon as I wake up tomorrow before I get out of bed and see if it helps my day go any better...🤞🏻🤞🏻

Taylortyler · 28/08/2020 18:56

@ChubbyMumFromSkye i might try this- although I don't have any water biscuits but I might put a bag of mini cheddars next to my bed tonight and eat them before I get up...

ChubbyMumFromSkye · 28/08/2020 18:58

These are the ones I am finding ok!

@Phie04 do you mean 2nd?

Sussexbysea · 28/08/2020 19:30

@MrsAndMrs so beautiful. Congratulations. 6 days and counting for my 12 week scan

Mrs1989 · 28/08/2020 19:38

Hi ladies Smile I missed the link to this new thread (thanks to whoever set this one up) but made a decision to step away for the few days leading up to my private scan as I was just feeling very anxious and waiting for the worst. HOWEVER, we had the scan earlier this evening and had good news!!

Everything looked as it should, saw baby’s heartbeat and little arm wriggling away, and we were told baby is measuring one day ahead at 9+6. So I am still a March lady!

I feel so much better and glad I have just a couple of weeks now until my 12 week scan. I would have been bricking it without this scan. I think I will always be anxious (because that’s who I am) but to have reached this point and seen baby feels like a huge milestone. Will try my best to keep positive and calm over the next few weeks Smile xxx

@Mrs1989 congrats on your scan, great pic 💞🌟

Oldermum80 · 28/08/2020 19:43

@Mrs1989 congratulations! I feel much more positive after mine today too! I think it’s because I’ve never got this far in my previous two pregnancies so I have hope 😊

Mrs1989 · 28/08/2020 19:54

Thanks ladies Smile @Oldermum80 I’ve just gone back to look at your scan pic, I’ve missed so many posts! Your pic is lovely, congratulations and glad you are feeling more positive now too xxx

Oldermum80 · 28/08/2020 19:59

@Mrs1989 thank you, it’s hard to keep up on such a busy thread! We will be needing another new one soon lol.

PhotoMum4 · 28/08/2020 20:51

Saying hello, I am due March 21st currently 10+5.
Have a scan in the morning 🤞🏻 As previous pregnancy was a MMC at 9 weeks.

chloxhunt · 28/08/2020 21:04

@PhotoMum4 hope everything goes well!

Mrs1989 · 28/08/2020 21:21

@PhotoMum4 sorry to hear about your MMC and wishing you all the best for your scan tomorrow xxx

holb54 · 28/08/2020 21:31

@PhotoMum4 best of luck with your scan tomorrow, sending love 💓

GreysLove · 28/08/2020 22:30

@krj2608 I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm totally heartbroken for you. You've been such a great support and comfort to me and others on this thread. If there's anything I can do other than sending you all the love and hugs just send me a pm. Be kind to yourself, give yourself time to recover and I truly hope you get all that you want when the time is right xxx

krj2608 · 29/08/2020 07:43

Thank you all 💜

@GreysLove thank you that really means a lot. Not quite sure what to do next as there are lots of different options. It's difficult as the symptoms are still there and my body still thinks it's pregnant this time. The baby died about 4 weeks ago which is exactly when I fell down the stairs and broke my foot. The last two times it happened naturally but not sure it will this time.

Hope you are all well x

@Babafarmer yeah my first shift is on Monday and I haven't worked since March 😂 i was one of the people who were clinically high risk anyways so trust me to get pregnant during a pandemic I couldn't catch anyway lol

chloxhunt · 29/08/2020 07:58

@krj2608 I'm so sorry to hear this! I hope everything works out for you!

Sussexbysea · 29/08/2020 08:07

@krj2608 this is so sad. I would have thought that baby would have been protected from a fall like that. Xx

PhotoMum4 · 29/08/2020 08:12

@MrsandMrs @Mrs1989 and @oldermum80 congratulations on your scans. So lovely to have that reassurance.

@Chubbymumfromskye I eat 3 water biscuits before even sitting up every morning. It has def helped a bit with the sickness. Good Luck.

@krj2608 so sorry for your loss. MMC is so hard, be kind and allow yourself time. I did medical management with mine, happy to answer any questions if you want.

Babafarmer · 29/08/2020 08:25

@chloxhunt I've just been off for 8 weeks following my pregnancy risk assessment. I will be working from home until my maternity starts. Not sure how good it is for my mental health but I also suffer anxiety and the anxiety of going into work and looking after patients potentially with COVID tips me over the edge. So for now the better outcome is to be at home.

JTB123 · 29/08/2020 08:30

Lovely scan pics 😍

chloxhunt · 29/08/2020 09:22

@Babafarmer yeah it's safer to be at home anyways! I work in McDonald's and the thought of the food makes me want to throw up 😂
