Good luck for tomorrow @ew1990 @bubblybon20 I'm sure all will be well and will be great to see how much your little limes have changed since you last saw them ☺️

Allgirlmum · 31/08/2020 20:13

👋 hi can I join I lost my baby last month due to mmc at 7 weeks pregnant July 27 I miscarried

I’ve today got a clear strong clear blue positive I’ve not had a period since my loss I’m now feeling anxious 🙈

Pugprincess · 31/08/2020 20:16

@Allgirlmum sorry for your loss, I’m the same as you and got pregnant straight after my mc with no AF either. It’s early days for me I think I’m 6 weeks approaching 7. So hard when you don’t have an AF date to work from lol. Are you going to try and get an early scan at the epu? They should see you at 6 weeks + with a gp referral.

Allgirlmum · 31/08/2020 21:04

@Pugprincess congratulations
It is so hard that’s what’s getting me to I think I will ask the gp to Get me a appointment at epau I’ve no idea at all at how many weeks I am 🙈

bubblybon20 · 31/08/2020 21:11

Yes mines 10:40am 😄 defo good times to have @ew1990 couldn't imagine a last of the day appointment 🤣 Thankyou @DanceM1 @SmileyT will defo our pics of all good 😀😀😀

ew1990 · 31/08/2020 21:19

@allgirl I started bleeding from my MMC 14 weeks ago on Thursday. And I'm 13 weeks on thursday. So it can happen quickly. Maybe speak to epu and see if they can get you in for a scan.

SmileyT · 31/08/2020 21:27

@Allgirlmum ahh I definitely think that it can make it harder mentally when you don't have an AF in between. I had a few AF in between my MMC and BFP but the Dr I saw before I had surgery said that they just class the MC date the same as LMP it's just used as guide for dating until a scan anyway. She told me that the only issue they have is if somebody has really long cycles, but if you had the MC 27th July and already have your BFP you know you'll date somewhere between 4-5weeks, but definitely worth getting in for a scan if you can get a referral. Congratulations on this new BFP 🥳 and I'm sure you'll find loads of support in this thread xx

Workingmama1 · 31/08/2020 21:32

@Furbabymum15 I'm so so sorry to read your update. Going through a miscarriage once is horrible but multiple times is so tough. I hope you can rest and are being looked after Flowers xx

Workingmama1 · 31/08/2020 21:34

Good luck @ew1990 and @bubblybon20! Looking forward to two more official due dates.

Smilingdonkey · 31/08/2020 22:07

Sending love @furbaby x
@allgirlmum welcome and congrats. This group is fab 😊 We all know how hard it is to be pregnant after a MMC x

Looking forward to do seeing some more scans tomorrow😊

I'm back at school tomorrow and dreading it. I managed to go to the shops and buy a load of clothes for work , get my hair cut, go to the supermarket (with a toddler), tidy the flat and cook shepherd's pie for tea before collapsing in bed just now! I could never have done this a couple of weeks ago - I really hope this is the sickness easing and some energy returning - either that or I have completely overdone it and will be suffering all day tomorrow! Xxx

PhotoMum4 · 31/08/2020 22:33

@Furbabymum15 so sorry to hear your news, hope you are being kind to yourself and have people around to look after you.

Good Luck to all returning to work tomorrow.

SkyBlue20 · 01/09/2020 07:48

Morning all!

@Furbabymum15 Thinking of you today.

@ew1990 @bubblybon20 Good luck with your scans!

@Pugprincess Glad the lemon sherbets are helping!

@RosieJess91 Glad you found something that helps and that you’re feeling a bit better.

@DanceM1 I think it’s probably completely normal to feel that way - I think the acceptance that it might actually happen is likely to get greater and greater at every milestone, so after a successful 20 week scan you’ll probably allow yourself to believe even more. After everything we’ve been through, it’s not surprising that we’ll be a bit guarded - it’s the natural instinct to protect ourselves. Try to enjoy it as best you can and don’t beat yourself up if you have moments of worry, just acknowledge them then let them go. Xx

Welcome @Allgirlmum! So sorry for your loss and congratulations on your BFP! 💕

@Smilingdonkey Bravo on your productivity yesterday! Good luck for the return to work today ☺️

Crazy busy week coming up at work for me, trying to summon up the energy to get out of bed and face it 😂 I’m quite glad though as it means this week should fly by and then it’ll finally be scan time (I know, I’m a broken record about waiting for the bloody scan 🙈) Can’t believe it’s September already, this year has flown by - what a strange one it has been. Woke up feeling excited for Autumn and then Christmas though, I’m wishing the weeks away already, it seems!

Poppy10121 · 01/09/2020 08:22

Good luck for scans @ew1990 and @bubblybon20!

I’ve FINALLY got a letter from the hospital with appt date of 1st October - no details about whether it’s a midwife appt or scan (I’ve still not heard back about booking in). I’ll be 13 weeks by then so bloody hope it’s a scan and not my booking appt!

Workingmama1 · 01/09/2020 10:28

Glad you've finally heard from the midwives with an appointment @poppy10121, even if it is for a mystery appointment. I'd be tempted to ring and double check.

@skyblue20 hopefully a busy week at work will mean your scan arrives quickly!

I had an awful dream where I miscarried last last for the second night in a row. It was so real and vivid I woke up shaking. I thought I was managing to quell my anxiety and trying to be a bit more positive but clearly it's still in my subconscious.

Thinking of booking a scan for Thursday, would mean not a long wait, I'll be 9 weeks according to lmp or 8+5 based on scan dates. I know its awful to think like this but figured if it's bad news it could leave enough time for intervention before my holiday but close enough that I can go away knowong a heartbeat at 8/9 weeks is a positive place to be.

Lu93 · 01/09/2020 11:36

Aw @Workingmama1, i completely feel your anxiety. I’ve had a lovely weekend visiting family we didn’t tell them I was pregnant and just pretending I was drinking with 0% wine and felt fine I was occupied. Back to work and normality today I’m quite quiet at work. I woke up from an awful dream that my scan on Thursday I’ll be 8 weeks 1 day theyre going to tell me it was an empty sac... so after this I’ve managed to convince myself that my boobs are no longer sore, I haven’t felt sick for probably over a week now and my mind is just going into over drive. I’m just my own worst enemy at the minute and hate being on my own. So you’re def not alone :( xx

SkyBlue20 · 01/09/2020 11:49

Hope your scan went well, @bubblybon20!

@Poppy10121 Yay to finally getting an appt! I'd imagine that's a scan at 13 weeks but definitely worth calling to see what's what with booking in, too!

Oh, @Workingmama1, big hugs. A scan on Thursday sounds like a good idea - like you say, a heartbeat after 8 weeks is definitely a good sign and might be able to help you relax a little bit. My scan at the EPU was 8+6 (based on scan date) and it was a proper little baby shape and everything, so it was nice to see! xx

@Lu93 I'm so sorry you're struggling, too. I know what you mean about your mind going in to overdrive when there's nothing else to really focus on. I wish there were something I can do to help but just know that we've all been there and I'm sending you strength. Do you have a scan booked in or anything any time soon? Do you think one might help? xx

bubblybon20 · 01/09/2020 12:19

Hello!! Scan went well, measuring even bigger again.. 14+3 and now due 27th feb! 😅😅

Workingmama1 · 01/09/2020 12:46

Amazing new @bubblybon20!!! Brilliant picture too, a proper baby shape ❤ could they still do all their measurements at 14+3?

@Lu93 our minds can be so cruel can't they? After my dream I woke up without nausea too and worried, then come 9am it had hit me again!

ew1990 · 01/09/2020 12:47

@bubblybon20 yay congratulations.

I'm so nervous. I've been vomiting all morning due to nerves I Think. Just want it over with! 20 minutes to go

SkyBlue20 · 01/09/2020 12:52

Amazing, @bubblybon20!! I’m very jealous of all of this measuring ahead you’re getting, too 😂 So glad everything is ok. Are you doing the screenings? Exciting that you only have 5 and a bit weeks until the 20 week scan now, too!

Big hand hold, @ew1990 xx

bubblybon20 · 01/09/2020 12:52

@Workingmama1 I'm not sure! I had to have some more bloods taken while I was there as I'm over 14 weeks! So not sure 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@ew1990 I hope it goes well, it's so so hard not to be nervous! 💕

RosieJess91 · 01/09/2020 13:19

Beautiful scan!

Still don't know when mine is, I'm 9 weeks today and I still haven't heard anything from anyone at all!! I phoned them over a week ago to be told that I'd hear soon, still nothing. It's ridiculous! Not only am I at risk due to my heart, I've also suffered 2 losses this year and have hyperemesis and I still haven't heard anything!!!

bubblybon20 · 01/09/2020 13:40

@SkyBlue20 sorry I think we posted at the same time! I went for the screening today, but unsure if they managed to do it due to being over 14 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can't believe I've measured ahead every scan 🤦🏻‍♀️ I actually was going to go for a private gender scan at 16 weeks.. but that's only next weekend so not sure if I feel that's way too soon mentally 🤣🤣

Sakura54 · 01/09/2020 15:59

So sorry this has happened. I hope now they will be able to find out the cause of these MC’s. Take care of yourself @Furbabymum15

The worry doesn’t really go away for me. I’m in the 2nd trimester now but I found myself googling chances of late MC. It’s a scary and traumatising thought. Still have over 2 weeks until my consultant appt where I’ll hopefully get all the answers to my queries due to many pregnancy issues. Got my list ready lol @SkyBlue20

@Poppy10121 I reckon it’s your scan date and maybe booking on the same day due, unless they call you to do it over the phone. It’ll be here before you know it. All my appointment letters are generic too and for my 20w MW appt I don’t even have a letter as it’s at a MW place as opposed to the hospital.

Yay, so good to see these lovely successful scans! What are your NT and CRL measurements, both of you? I called to chase up my screening results and they said they did send a letter out but will resend. It’s low risk anyway.
@bubblybon20 Even further on than me! Your 20w one should be around the same time.
@ew1990 I know you’ll be showing us a great pic!

DS started nursery for the first time today. I didn’t cry like I thought I would, but that’s probably because I didn’t say bye to him as he was busy playing while I was doing paperwork with the Nursery Manager, so we thought it was best for me to just leave! I’ve been anxious about this for.....years lol. PFB and all that.

@Sakura54 I think I'm just going to have a big baby 🤣 no matter what baby will be late, I was late with both boys 🤣 pretty certain I'm having another boy tho! 😀
I will find those out later, my 20 week scan is booked for the 13th October! So not much later than yours.

I feel slightly more eased now, but completely agree that in our heads even though we're out of the 12 week danger zone there's still they fear of it being too good to be true! But hopefully we can relax after each big thing. I'm hoping as soon as I feel some movements I'll be ok!

Hope you're scan went ok @ew1990 xx
