@skyblue20 in was thinking this morning that I just shaved my legs last night and they need doing again. I'm dark haired though but I remember having to shave daily with DD. I got a really hairy belly with her and it never fully went away 🙈🙈the joys eh?

Sakura54 · 29/08/2020 19:34

@SkyBlue20 not hair, but my nails are ridiculously long!! I cut them once a week!

RosieJess91 · 29/08/2020 19:39

I'm 8+4 weeks today! Roughly.
Can't remember who said it, but I've just clocked onto the fact that I've been pregnant every single month of this year. Fell pregnant end of December, miscarried beginning of April, had a CP in May through to June and fell pregnant again in July! That's properly insane...
I'm only a month off of when I would have had the baby from January. That'll be a tough few days, let's hope I can celebrate it with the fact that this ones healthy, should have had my scan by then, I hope!! 🤞

SkyBlue20 · 29/08/2020 19:58

@Pugprincess Glad the spotting has been ok!

@ew1990 Ahh and there I was hoping the hairy belly would go away after pregnancy 😂🙈

@bubblybon20 My nails have been growing really quickly too but I’m a nail biter so they’ve not been able to get very long. I must stop!

@RosieJess91 it’s mad when you think about it, isn’t it?! Fingers crossed you’ll have had your scan before your original due date and can celebrate your little bean whilst remembering the other one too 🤞🏼 I’ve booked the day off work for mine as just not sure how I’ll feel that day and thought it might be nice to go do something with DH instead.

SmileyT · 29/08/2020 20:12

@PhotoMum4 oh yeah I've already told my manager but my job is primarily on the phone now, so no children to contend with, i commend all teachers I could never do it. My parents I'll tell after my gender scan, I don't need 9months of their excitement 😂

@SkyBlue20 I'm so hairy, had a Hollywood wax a few weeks ago and it looks like it did after 3months of lockdown, my belly is also really hairy 🙈 11w2 going off last scan... My due date may change at dating scan but just added it to list as easier to keep track x

@Pugprincess like others have said I wouldn't worry too much about dates, LMP only really works if you have a 28day cycle and ovulate dead on day 14 so I think the majority have their dates changed at their dating scan 👌🏾

@Sakura54 so exciting your 20w scan isn't too far off now ☺️

@RosieJess91 my original due date would've been 20th October and hoping to book my gender scan before that so I can really celebrate my rainbow even though it will be tough 😔

SmileyT · 29/08/2020 20:13

Scan dates:
@bubblybon20 Tuesday 1st September 10:40am
@ew1990 Tuesday 1st September 1.10pm
@SmileyT Monday 7th September 9am
@SkyBlue20 Wednesday 9th September, 11am
@photomum4 Friday 4th October 12.00
@Sakura54 Wednesday 7th October 2.40pm

Due dates:
@Sakura54 Due: 28/02/21 - 13 +6 weeks
@DanceM1 Due: 4/3/21 - 12+ 4 weeks
@PhotoMum4* Due: 18/3/21 - 11+2
@smileyT Due 18/3/21 - 11+2

Pugprincess · 30/08/2020 01:11

@SmileyT thanks that makes sense too as this wasn’t a proper cycle with a LMP so I ovulated around day 18/19 or possibly even 20 depending on when egg actually released after the peak opks. I’m usually more day 14/15 ish I think 💭 so ovulation was later this time due to MC. X

Poppy10121 · 30/08/2020 08:34

@SkyBlue20 I’m also dark haired and had noticed that even though I waxed last week I’m already a yeti again 🙈 at least winter is coming!!

I’m 8+3 today, still waiting to hear back from hospital on booking appt and scan - useless.

Furbabymum15 · 30/08/2020 12:49

Hi ladies...... Need a hand hold really I'm 6wk and 4 days pregnant after 2 MMC and I'm bleeding also my clear blue weeks indicator should have been 3+ but its bounced back to 1-2wks xx anyone got any experiences? xx

Pugprincess · 30/08/2020 16:15

@Furbabymum15 aw sorry to hear this. Are you in pain? Have you called 111? Just wondering if it’s worth trying to get the early pregnancy unit at hospital to check you out as you are more than 6 weeks so you qualify to be seen with your history. X

Furbabymum15 · 30/08/2020 17:23

@PugPrincess....i called 111 and they sent me to epu I've had an examination that shows the cervix is closed and they will scan me tomorrow morning. I've just got home and am actually bleeding now so I think it's the start of the end xx

Pugprincess · 30/08/2020 18:15

@Furbabymum15 aw I hope not 😔 The cervix being closed is good though isn’t it? X

RosieJess91 · 30/08/2020 18:34

I hope it turns out to be a false alarm @Furbabymum15 😔

I've had an awful sickness day today, haven't kept down one single thing. Threw up on my friends driveway when I pulled up, so that was my way of telling them I'm pregnant.
I've got a cold, and a really horrendously runny nose, which I think is why I feel so bad, obviously not mixing well with my delicate stomach! If anyone knows of any quick fixes for runny noses that aren't bad for my heart, I'll be very grateful!

SmileyT · 30/08/2020 19:00

@Furbabymum15 I'm really hoping it's not bad news but sending you so much love and support, a closed cervix is definitely a good sign. Rest up tonight and good luck with the scan tomorrow x

@RosieJess91 sorry I have no ideas for a runny nose but hope you feel better soon ❤️

SkyBlue20 · 30/08/2020 19:05

@Furbabymum15 Thinking of you and sending positive thoughts and a big hand hold 💕 xx

@RosieJess91 Sorry you feel so rough today - and what a way to announce to your friend, they won’t forget that in a hurry 🙈😂 Sorry, no advice on the runny nose but hope you feel better soon xx

Workingmama1 · 30/08/2020 19:12

@furbabymum15, I've got everything crossed for a positive scan for you tomorrow and that the bleeding is just one of those things. Take care of yourself tonight, sending hugs.

Smilingdonkey · 30/08/2020 19:57

@rosiejess have you tried lumps of natural menthol in a steam bowl with towel etc. It's miracle stuff (be warned you need a very tiny amount! ) You can usually just get it from the pharmacy 😊

ew1990 · 30/08/2020 20:04

@furbaby fingers crossed for you. Closed cervix sounds positive!

Hope everyones enjoying their bank holiday weekend? Still not feeling positive. Just feel like all I do is bring this thread down 🙈😂 so sorry guys.

I'm so tired I could easily sleep for a week. I don't remember this with DD but then I didn't have her to run around after too!

Poppy10121 · 30/08/2020 21:33

@Furbabymum15 hope it all goes ok tomorrow xx
@RosieJess91 sorry you are feeling poorly, I think the menthol smilingdonkey suggested is a good shout or some Olbas Oil maybe?
@ew1990 I’m constantly exhausted this week, I sleep for at least 1-2 hours in the day and then 10+ hours each night! Not sure how this is going to work when I have to go into work next week 🙈

Workingmama1 · 30/08/2020 21:39

@poppy10121 @ew1990 I'm so tired too. I've been napping most days, on my days off 1-2 hours when I'm working (from home thankfully!) just trying to grab a catnap where I can. It seems worse than I was with my daughter.

@rosiejess91 there isn't much pregnancy safe you can take for runny noses I'm afraid! I'm not even sure olbas oil is safe. If you're blocked you can try a saline spray (i started using sterimar but the baby ones are cheap and basically the same). I'm not sure if snufflebabe is OK during pregnancy, you can use it in babies when you cant use olbas oil so it might be?

Pugprincess · 30/08/2020 21:52

I’m with you on the tiredness 😴 I don’t want to do anything lol. Just be lazy on the sofa or in bed 😅 I’ve had a nap today and when I was at work last week I was either nearly dozing off in training meetings or napping when I got home. Most nights I’ve fallen asleep by 9pm (surprised I haven’t yet). I keep falling asleep watching my programmes so I have to rewatch another time 🤪

I’ve had a couple of occasions this last week where I’ve felt sick and it’s come up my throat but that’s it? Doesn’t come out and I wouldn’t say it burns like not acidic. Does anyone else get this? X

PhotoMum4 · 30/08/2020 22:09

@Furbabymum15 I have everything crossed for a positive scan tomorrow. 🤞🏻

@Pugprincess I also want to spend all day in bed or on the sofa, really difficult with a toddler to run around after. Luckily my DH has been amazing looking after him and me.

I still feel crazy sick all day every day even with cyclizine Tablets. They are doing something as it’s worst in the morning and evenings when it’s worn off.
I can’t do much more of this, feel dreadful.

Pugprincess · 31/08/2020 00:28

@PhotoMum4 bless you. My friends have suggested a few things to help, lemon sherbets, polos and ginger biscuits. Keep thinking of that end goal. Are you around 8 weeks if my memory’s right? Hopefully it will ease off soon. X
