Thank you ladies, you’re all so kind. I’m sure I’ll be fine. My partner is amazing and I’m fortunate enough to have a great support system should I need one. I’m going to leave the group now but I’m sending positive vibes your way xxx

krj2608 · 16/08/2020 17:35

So sorry to hear your news @Boredinthehouse12. Hope you are ok. Xx

krj2608 · 16/08/2020 17:42

Hi all

I have had some light bleeding when wiping since Friday (after dtd). It's eased off now. Epu won't see me so I attended a private scan this morning. Baby is only measuring 6 weeks and no heartbeat yet. Edd from period is 8 weeks, my last period was a miscarriage on 18/6/2020, but my cycles were like this with my previous two and due dates were put back by quite a bit. I'm booked in for a follow up scan two weeks time.

With my daughter. My last period was 23/6/16 and her due date changed from 29th March to 7th April.

Just want to know for sure, I don't like the waiting and not knowing. I'm still getting symptoms x

Jebbs · 16/08/2020 17:47

@Boredinthehouse12 so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself and all the best x

chloxhunt · 16/08/2020 18:32

@krj2608 I hope things improve for you! I've had spotting since Friday too! But haven't been able to contact my gp due to it being the weekend

aureliacecilia · 16/08/2020 18:34

So sorry to hear your sad news @Boredinthehouse12.

Sorry to hear what you've been going through too, @chloxhunt & @krj2608.

ValidUser · 16/08/2020 19:42

@Boredinthehouse12 I'm so sorry.

@krj2608 hopefully all is ok. @chloxhunt hopefully you get some reassurance too.

krj2608 · 16/08/2020 19:49

Thank you @ValidUser @aureliacecilia- I just can't work out my dates, it just doesn't seem to add up. I could have ovulated later but I had a positive test on 16th July so not looking likely x

@chloxhunt oh no I hope you get somewhere with your gp too. I'm still going to call mine tomorrow just so it's recorded as I have had two miscarriages previously x

chloxhunt · 16/08/2020 19:55

@krj2608 yeah I've just emailed mine so they'll answer tomorrow! My mum has history of miscarrying too and sometimes it can be kinda genetic but I'm hoping the baby is okay

JTB123 · 16/08/2020 19:58

@krj2608 how stressful for you! I hope everything turns out okay xxx

Mrs1989 · 16/08/2020 19:59

Babyyno2 · 16/08/2020 20:44

Hi everyone

Am I okay to join please?
I'm due 23rd March - going by my last period. Still awaiting my 1st midwife appointment which will be Tuesday but will be over the phone as it is my 2nd child and they are tying to see less people due to covid.
Can't wait to get a date for my 12 weeks im so inpatient!

Babafarmer · 16/08/2020 21:19

@Boredinthehouse12 I am absolutely gutted for you. I wish you all the luck in the future xxx

Maggi85 · 16/08/2020 23:24

Hi everyone I was on the last thread sorry I’m late joining this one xx

Clara9 · 17/08/2020 08:23

Still haven’t heard anything about my midwifed appointment. It’s on Wednesday and they said they’d be in touch about whether it’s on the phone, zoom or face to face. Will try and call them today.

aureliacecilia · 17/08/2020 08:26

Welcome @Babyyno2 and @Maggi85.

I saw every hour on my alarm clock last night. I don't think I slept, just dozed all night. Not sure why but needing the loo more frequently since being pregnant doesn't help. I've got my booking appointment this week and I'm hoping to be given a 12 week scan date too. I'm coming up to 9 weeks. I've chosen not to have an early scan as I don't want the added stress (I know they are hugely reassuring for some) and I'm trying to take a "what will be will be" approach.

Aurora124 · 17/08/2020 09:21

@aureliacecilia if i'm honest an early scan reassures you for about a day! I had one last Monday and I'm still so worried about everything, especially since there has been such sad news on here for so many woman. My heart goes out to them, it's such a horrible thing to have to through. I'm just waiting until we have all reached 12 weeks and can relax a bit. As many have said, it feels like time is standing still!

EmzG20 · 17/08/2020 09:34

I'm only 8 weeks but starting to look at maternity clothes already as mine are getting too small. I got rid of the ones from my previous pregnancy.
Where's the best place to buy maternity jeans, dresses etc

aureliacecilia · 17/08/2020 09:34

@Aurora124 Yes that's how I feel. I'd be reassured for a few hours (hopefully!) and £50-£70 worse off. Or I'd go and baby would be a bit small and I'd be even more worried! I'm just going to sit tight for my 12 week scan.
