@ChampooPapi looking great mama. X

chubbyhotchoc · 03/08/2020 19:20

@ChampooPapi that's a magnificent bump! You look lovely

chubbyhotchoc · 03/08/2020 19:23

Here's mine which is rather puny in comparison lol

@Kj1010 two babies will do that 😆 it's going to be ridiculous by thirty weeks!

@chubbyhotchoc i'm going to say it... You look hot! There it's out there. Stunning bump and hot bod 💃

peachypetite · 03/08/2020 20:16

Oh wow @ChampooPapi how hard is it carrying that much bump? Mines about the same as @chubbyhotchoc who looks great too, and I’ve already walked into some door frames havinf misjudged the space hahaha

Admittedly my bump now looks ludicrous @peachypetite and @chubbyhotchoc!

Amyyy1 · 03/08/2020 20:39

@ChampooPapi @chubbyhotchoc Your bumps both look fabulous!!!! 😍 It's crazy to think we actually have our babies tucked away in there!

Anyone with anterior placenta- has anyone started feeling kicks and movement yet and if yes how many weeks are you? X

peachypetite · 03/08/2020 20:41

@Amyyy1 I’m 23. Not felt kicks. Just rolls, swishy type feeling and some days quite a bit, then other days not much at all.

OP posts:
Bluebell2020 · 03/08/2020 20:42

@Amyyy1 I have anterior placenta and have felt small movements from 18 weeks with first baby. BUT they're very very inconsistent. One day I'll get a really strong kick and then I'll get absolutely nothing the next day and then some days just really small subtle movements. I think it's normal not to feel strong kicks for a while!

Hanrora06 · 03/08/2020 20:42

20 week scan is finished!! And all was totally perfect and fine! Feeling pretty good :D I have somehow managed to hedge my bets with the sex- the sonographer was absolutely lovely and I was chatting about my indecisiveness and he said he would write it down and put it in an envelope if I wanted, and I was like oh ok YES please! And actually now I have it, the curiosity has calmed down a little! I know I can find out when I want to- if I want to. And so I feel much better and happy.

This is my bump- it is so small haha but I was pretty small to begin with and FTM so I'm not particularly bothered. I can still get away with just having eaten a big pizza.

@chubbyhotchoc so pleased for you, you must feel so much better now :)

ChampooPapi · 03/08/2020 20:44

@Amyyy1 thanks lovely. Yes me and I honestly only started feeling movement a few weeks ago, and still I only feel a few tiny kicks now in the evening at 24 weeks. It's good because you don't get disturbed much but at the same time it is hard to monitor movement because I found with my others that were anterior as well even at like 36 weeks they seldom moved much then even!

Hanrora06 · 03/08/2020 20:46

@Amyyy1 anterior placenta also, and I'm 20+2! I've felt a fair few swishes and tickles since about week 17/18 but it's still very inconsistent. Sometimes a lot more in a certain day than others. I tend to feel it when I'm sitting at my desk more often than any other time, or that's when I notice. I can feel it a little now but I think they are still annoyed after being prodded by the scanner haha. He had to push down really hard at one point to move the baby out of the way! I asked about movement and he said it would be muffled to a certain extent the whole time and I would probably feel more lateral side to side movements than in the middle.

kkr168 · 03/08/2020 21:40

@chubbyhotchoc & @ChampooPapi your bumps are looking beautiful

I've got an anterior placenta, I'm 23+4 & have been getting very strong kicks for a few weeks now. The baby is on the go every morning, night & quite a bit during the day too! It's the complete opposite to my previous pregnancy that was also anterior, I was lucky if he moved once a day & when he did move I could barely feel him.

Bluebell2020 · 03/08/2020 21:45

23+2 in this picture. Sometimes I look big sometimes I don't! Think the amount of food I eat in the day makes a big difference! Definitely had bigger changes from 21 weeks!

@Hanrora06 you look fabulous! I'd say a very normal bump for someone slim and trim like yourself and a first time mum, I looked exactly the same as this with my first too (hard to believe looking at my mahoosive bump now) your strong stomach muscles will fair you well post baby

@Bluebell2020 gorgeous bump shot 👣✨ food definitely makes the whole belly area kind of pop like a girdle has been released doesn't it? Have you got your next midwife appointment next week?

Pinktruffle · 03/08/2020 21:59

@chubbyhotchoc glad to hear your results came back all clear!

Bluebell2020 · 03/08/2020 22:19

@Champoopapi my next one is 2 weeks tomorrow so I'll be almost 26 weeks! Feels like I haven't seen a midwife for ages!

confused107 · 03/08/2020 22:19

So many gorgeous bump shots. I suddenly look and feel pretty pregnant at 22+4. Can't help but wonder if its a coincidence that my appetite has come back over the last week or two!

Bluebell2020 · 03/08/2020 22:27

@confused107 that is exactly what happened to me! My appetite all of a sudden went through through and my weight gain followed it and now I definitely feel pregnant. 3 weeks ago I didn't at all and never looked pregnant either where as today I've had 4 people comment on how the baby is now showing 😂 Part of me is like.. is it the baby showing or all the chocolate bars 🙈

catnip99 · 03/08/2020 22:47

Is anyone pregnant with their first unusually large in the bump region? Or was anyone absolutely massive with their first?

I was always told and made to believe that you carry small with the first and I am just massive already, looking at other people who are pregnant around a similar time as me or who are even further ahead with tiny bumps and I can't help but compare or wonder if it's because I had a bit of belly chub before I got pregnant 😩

Snowwhite2020 · 03/08/2020 23:39

@catnip99 mine looks and feels pretty big. I’m pretty small and petite normally so I’m chalking it up to not much space for the baby bump apart from outwards!?

Everyone seems to be different and we will all hopefully go (at least most of the way) back to normal once the baby is out! Not much we can do in the meantime... just feeling happy and blessed the baby is well xx

catnip99 · 03/08/2020 23:41

@Snowwhite2020 oh the baby's wellbeing is absolutely all that matters, so grateful for this experience and it's nice to be able to share it with other people Daffodil

Pinktruffle · 04/08/2020 00:18

@catnip99 I'm a FTM and I've needed maternity wear since I was 12 weeks, I'm now 23+4 and very much look it!

catnip99 · 04/08/2020 00:21

@Pinktruffle ah that's so relieving, I've also been in mat clothes since 12 weeks aswell, couldn't even imagine fitting into normal jeans anymore haha
I'm 20 weeks on Saturday and feel like I'm way bigger than I should be, hoping my baby isn't huge cause I've got some really adorable newborn clothes 😂
