Oh no @Homassy. How heavy is it? Do you have any cramps? Really hope it's just random spotting.

OP posts:
KJB2020 · 11/08/2020 18:51

@Homassy on no sorry to hear that, hope the spotting goes away quickly. How are you feeling otherwise?

Homassy · 11/08/2020 19:05

No cramps and just light spotting but it feels a bit ominous. I had bleeding on and off till 20 weeks last time but I had it even from getting a bfp- not starting at this stage. Apart from exhaustion and feeling a bit rough no very convincing symptoms either x

lastditchattempt20 · 12/08/2020 16:52

How are things today @Homassy?

Homassy · 12/08/2020 19:05

Thanks for asking Smile. Much the same. Mild intermittent spotting but no worse and no cramps . Has your spotting stopped?

kwastell · 12/08/2020 19:52

Good to hear it's not got any worse and you don't have cramps. Got my fingers firmly crossed for you @Homassy. And everyone else if course.

I managed to do the injection. Wasn't half as bad as I imagined. Realised I didn't quite empty all the dose. But at least I did it! 😅

OP posts:
Homassy · 12/08/2020 20:14

Hey well done on the injection! I didn’t fully empty it on first go. Gets easier

kwastell · 12/08/2020 20:18

So proud of myself 😂 Thank you for the tips - definitely helped

KJB2020 · 12/08/2020 22:07

Hi ladies,
how is everyone today?
@kwastell well done with your injection.

@Homassy good to hear you are not any worse and no cramps, fingers crossed the spotting settles down soon.

How far along is everyone now? I have my midwife appointment tomorrow, so hoping my first scan gets booked for within the next couple of
Weeks 🤞🤞

kwastell · 12/08/2020 22:29

Good luck for your midwife appointment @KJB2020. Let us know how it goes.

I'm 6 weeks 4 days.

How far are you?

OP posts:
KJB2020 · 12/08/2020 22:40

@kwastell thank you! I will do, this is the first time round for me so I guess I’m excited about everything 😂

Well according to my last period I could be as far on as 11w 2 days. But I really don’t know and that’s what I’m looking forward to finding out tomorrow or at my scan 😁

Do you have your next scan on Friday?

lastditchattempt20 · 12/08/2020 22:46

Wow @KJB2020 imagine almost in second trimester?! Good luck.
@Homassy I've continued to have brownish CM on occasion most days- think it's cervical irritation but will mention it at scan on Monday morning when I should be 6w 5d 🤞🏻 so nervous!
@kwastell well done on the injection! 👏
Gave in to my junk food craving this evening and ordered a MacDonalds at 9pm 🙈 this is not looking good for pregnancy weight gain!

kwastell · 12/08/2020 23:02

Wow, hopefully you'll get your scan very soon if you're that far along @KJB2020. Good you're excited - you should be 🎉

OP posts:
kwastell · 12/08/2020 23:04

Good your discharge hasn't increased and has stayed brownish @lastditchattempt20

I made my husband go for McD's for me late the other night. Taking full advantage of getting him to do stuff for me this time!

Got my midwife appointment on Friday morning and scan on Friday afternoon - trying not to be nervous

Hi again everyone, had a week off MN but back having done another 5 tests and each time a stronger line and today a very rapid dye stealer.... I think one 6+1 today and seeing the gynaecologist on Sunday morning as I “think” this is how the system works here. It’s medical rather than midwife led care which is so different from what I’m used to, but will be interesting to see how it works. So far the odd bit of cramping which terrifies me plus fatigue and I started being sick. Fingers crossed for everyone over the coming weeks!

kwastell · 13/08/2020 10:53

Welcome back @Wavesandsmilesencore

Good luck with your gynaecologist appointment. Did you say you're in Belgium?

OP posts:
kwastell · 13/08/2020 10:55

I have brown discharge this morning 😬

Have just started progestogen pessaries (cyclogest) and have read they can irritate the cervix, and I've had cervical erosion in previous pregnancies so hoping it's down to that.

isntthatnice · 13/08/2020 10:57

I'll be 38 next week and I've been trying since November. I'm hoping I can conceive but it's not looking good is it?

I've already got 3 teens

Wavesandsmilesencore · 13/08/2020 11:31

@kwastell, I’m in Luxembourg (so all of 15 mins drive to Belgium for me!). At least after Sunday I should understand how things will work. I’m also focussed now on DS1 who has his gcse results next week. And this made me realise that if all progresses well I’ll have children ranging from newborn to 17 next year 😮.
@isntthatnice , I have 2 teens and 2 younger ones (4 and 7), I’m 41 and conceived on 6 month of trying but really went for it the last month, plus used conceive plus lube and took preconception vitamins.

kwastell · 13/08/2020 12:26

@isntthatnice hello 👋 I've been trying for 2.5 years and have got pregnant 3 times in the last 7-8 months - whereas it took over a year the time before. The difference has been doing the dead more often and knowing when I'm ovulating. Obviously that's not the case for everyone as there are different reasons for people not getting pregnant.

Hi, I hope you are all having a good day?
So I had my midwife booking scan and I now have access to my Maternity notes on the online app. They said I should get my scan in the next week, so fingers crossed not too long to wait! 🤞

kwastell · 13/08/2020 17:37

@KJB2020 great you'll get a scan in a week. Will be exciting to find out how far along you are!

What's the app? That sounds good - so you can see all your notes rather than the old paper folder?

OP posts:
KJB2020 · 13/08/2020 18:58

@kwastell yes I can’t wait to get the scan and get confirmation on how far along I am. How are you doing today?

Yes at the end of the booking appointment she registered me on the app it’s called Maternity notes by Clevermed Ltd.
