@Hayleywoody82, it does get better. But you do need to look after yourself as a priority... it is an awful thing but you will figure things out, and definitely realise you are better off now than with someone who’s been having an emotional affair. Soup and mashed potato are the two things I tend to manage (or toast), at times when I can’t imagine being able to eat. Hoping you can rest tonight

M4v3r1ck · 01/12/2020 09:28

@Hayleywoody82 I'm so sorry to hear this! They are both selfish and awful idiots! Please take time and focus on you and what you need/want! Sending much love! 😘😘😘

kwastell · 01/12/2020 17:13

I'm so sorry @Hayleywoody82 what a pair of idiots. I don't really have any useful advice, but we're always here when you need to vent. Look after yourself ❤️

@Hayleywoody82 like someone else said you must be your priority eat and rest. If you don't want to talk to him don't. Put Yourself first and your baby and the rest will figure itself out.

Wavesandsmilesencore · 03/12/2020 11:28

Just a quick hello to say that everything seemed completely perfect at my scan today! 21weeks 2 days and absolutely no issues. He was moving quite a bit and even trying to suck his thumb 😊

kwastell · 03/12/2020 12:12

Hurray @Wavesandsmilesencore lovely pics ❤️

Oh what a lovely picture @Wavesandsmilesencore He's so cute!

Hayleywoody82 · 03/12/2020 16:12

Hi all.

I'm driving myself mad. I'm about 7.5 weeks now.

All my symptoms have dissapeared. Last week I was so sick I was just about functioning. Sore boobs.
Now nothing.

I have a scan on Wednesday. I'm so worried I've had 4 previous miscarriages. But have 3 healthy children. Xx

KJB2020 · 03/12/2020 23:00

Lovely pics @Wavesandsmilesencore ❤️

M4v3r1ck · 04/12/2020 09:21

@Wavesandsmilesencore amazing pic! 😍😍😍

@Hayleywoody82 hope the scan goes ok next week! It's definitely common for people not to have symptoms or for them to fluctuate! 😘

Happy Friday ladies! Hope you all have a good day! 😃😃😃

CC81 · 04/12/2020 10:29

@Hayleywoody82 - I had the same around 7 weeks (felt pretty much normal). But the scan was ok and symptoms reappeared not long after!

It's different for everyone, but intermittent symptoms are common. Some people barely feel ill at all!

For me it's been more tiredness than nausea, but my sleep hasn't been great, so I'm always doubting it.

Vie8126 · 04/12/2020 13:43

I'm 6 weeks today and having the worst cramps on and off since yesterday. Haven't had any sickness so convinced my symptoms are vanishing although I'm shattered and still have fairly sore boobs. Midwife booked in for NYE phone appointment for booking private scan booked for Sunday 20th. Hoping to make it!!

Lovely scan pics up above so clear!!

Hayleywoody82 · 04/12/2020 17:02

Sickness back with a vengeance 🤢

Also feel like I've had a boob job xx

Sleeeeeepy · 04/12/2020 19:30

@Hayleywoody82 the trouble at this point is you hate is when nauseous but then worry when not!x

Hayleywoody82 · 04/12/2020 19:37

@Sleeeeeepy yes thats exactly how I've felt today. Xx

Sleeeeeepy · 04/12/2020 20:20

Unfortunately I know I'm going to look back at this bit in a couple and curse myself for not revelling in the non nauseous times!x

Hayleywoody82 · 04/12/2020 20:58

@sleeeeeepy has yours gone atm?

I had about 4 days where everything had gone. I was so worried.
Then today its all come back. Crazy.

I'm sat here with my sickness bands on. Nothing is helping. I've tried everything google suggests 🙄

Vie8126 · 06/12/2020 07:36

@hayleywoody82 how are things?

I just had 3 days of cramps and everything else gone only yesterday to feel like my boobs were on fire and sick constantly unless I'm eating!

Question for those with older children and further along... How did you tell them? What was their reactions?

I had a Chemical in June and mine ended up finding out. They all love my partner, get on with him and he is accepted in to the family but the prospect of the fact I was pregnant tipped all three of them over the edge my 16 year old said some quite nasty things and moved to his dad's my youngest cried and also said some awful things. We were devastated and gobsmacked at their reactions. Things are back on track with them now but we're starting to panic about telling them and how they will react this time.

Hayleywoody82 · 06/12/2020 09:52

@Vie8126 morning. I'm getting there. Working through things with my partner although not going to be easy.

The sickness has taken over my life. I literally can't do anything.

I'm in the same position as you. My kids love my partner they have a great relationship but im not sure how they will react. I think my 12 year old daughter will be really happy, she loves babies. My 14 year old son is going through that stage where he doesn't talk to anyone lol I don't think he will be to bothered. My 18year old son likes a quiet house and he did once say if I had another baby he would move out 🤣. He won't, he can't afford to, and if he did well I could do with the extra room. Hes always at his girlfriends anyway.
All in all I think they will be fine 🤞
Were not telling mine till im at 12 weeks with my history of MC. But finding it tough as I'm so sick. I think they think I'm just being a lazy cow xx

Sleeeeeepy · 06/12/2020 18:34

@Hayleywoody82 It comes and goes, worse late morning at the moment, I know soon it will be pretty much all the time though. I've stocked up on oat cakes which I have to eat before I get out of bed from about 7 weeks!

Hayleywoody82 · 06/12/2020 18:53

@Sleeeeeepy funny my best time is first thing in the morning. So I try to get everything done in the house early. Then the rest of the day is a right off.
I will be 8 weeks in Tuesday according to my dates.
Got my scan Wednesday so I have everything crossed I see a heartbeat xx

CC81 · 06/12/2020 18:59

I'm roughly 9 weeks (just about) and my symptoms have been coming and going in phases. Mostly just tiredness and some nausea.

I think it's better at weekends, because I feel less under pressure to get stuff done (and no 7am alarm). But it means I get worried every weekend!

In my first pregnancy I think it was similar, but I honestly can't remember. I was never actually sick. I thought it'd be worse with twins, but not so far (which is another worry, obvs!).

It's horrible being so uncertain. It definitely seems to be different for everyone.

I'm due to have another scan on Tuesday afternoon, so at least I'll know something (even if it's bad news)...

lucieloos · 06/12/2020 19:04

I'm much like @Hayleywoody82 and the sickness has taken over my life. It's never ending. I've been prescribed various medications but none have really made much difference. I'm just hoping it starts to ease soon.

@CC81 I have my 12 week scan Tuesday morning. Hoping to have my nipt results by the end of the week too. I'm so nervous.

CC81 · 06/12/2020 19:12

@lucieloos - Massive fingers crossed for you. It's so horrible waiting!

All being well, I'll have the NIPT test next week (10 weeks) then the results just before Xmas (11 weeks). Absolutely terrified.

Most of my fears are irrational... like I can't be lucky again, because my first pregnancy went so well - and especially not with two babies this time, being 39, etc. Just got to keep distracted over the next couple of weeks! Sad

lucieloos · 07/12/2020 10:31

Oh my goodness my nipt test results are back 5 days earlier than expected!! What a scary phone call that was but it's all low risk!!!!! I really can't believe it. She said because of my age (41) my risk for Down's syndrome before the test was pretty high at 1/47 but now it's less than 1/10,000 and the same for the other 5 things that they tested for. I am so so relieved. And we found that that we are having.....a baby girl!!! What an amazing morning. We have our 12 week scan tomorrow morning and then hopefully we can relax for a little while 😊😊😊
